Welcome to the luxurious Kamaole Sands 3-406, one of the most stunning remodels at Kamaole Sands. Every design decision was made for the guest's comfort and enjoyment. From the chef's kitchen with wine refrigerator, coffee bar and large pantry for storage to the enclosed loft area for privacy and comfort.

The highly rated Kamaole Sands resort has a lush courtyard, the largest resort pool in South Kihei, that also includes two jacuzzies (one family and one adult only) as well as a splash pool for the kids. It is also a short walk across the street to the pristine Kamaole III Beach. The resort also boasts tennis courts, newly renovated workout facility and immaculate grill areas with ample room for dining.

Unit 3-406 has an extra-large lanai, allowing your whole party to enjoy sunsets or viewing whales splashing in the ocean. If you choose to relax indoors, sit back, and enjoy the cool air from the high-quality split air conditioning while enjoying beautiful art created by local Maui artists. Furnishings are from high end Maui showrooms and give off a tasteful island vibe.

The kitchen is arguably one of the best stocked on the island. You will have everything you need whether you are preparing a simple meal to a full-blown gourmet meal. You will appreciate the nice touches for entertaining. Wine connoisseurs will love the dual zone wine fridge.

The master bedroom has a high-quality king mattress and luxury linens. Along with a master bath with dual shower heads. This loft has been enclosed to provide privacy and split air conditioning to allow for a cool night's sleep. The guest bedroom has high quality twin mattresses with luxury linens that can also be converted to a king size bed at your request.

The Kamaole Sands is in the desirable southernmost end of Kihei, three blocks from Wailea and close by three of Maui's postcard beaches (including wondrous Keawakapu Beach). There are more than a dozen restaurants of every variety within 3 blocks, along with a great coffee kiosk, convenience store, local galleries, and equipment rental. South Kihei is the epicenter of Maui's amazing beach culture, and the Kamaole Sands is a true highlight of South Kihei.

This immaculate property, managed by Vacation-Maui, is complete with beach gear, including beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, and a small cooler.

Fantastic

The property is wonderful and exactly as shown in the pictures. The unit was very clean and well stocked. We’ve stayed at another unit in the complex, and can say the upgrades to this unit were very well done. The management company is great to deal with and very responsive to emails. We had no complaints, only compliments, and enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place overall.

Very nice place overall. Great location, grounds very well kept and beautifully maintained. Excellent communication with host and very proactive on their part as well. We had an alert that kept informing the host of a water leak (unknown to us at the time) they reached out promptly and had a repair person onsite within hours and the problem was resolved and with no disruption to our stay at all.

Great Stay Overall!

Todd and the other hosts online and email for vacation-Maui were very responsive and friendly! The place was clean. There were all the dishes we needed and even Tupperware. I also appreciated that there were basic things like sugar, olive oil and spices so we could cook some interesting meals without having to stock up on all those items. The grounds are lovely with a great pool, a game room, a gym and a hot tub. We also attended a whale talk Friday morning at the property. It was very informative and inspiring and shortly there after we went whale watching.

Amazing (always)

This is the second time we stayed at the unit and once again we LOVED it for our family of 5. This unit is so beautiful and well equipped with everything you could possibly ask for. We ate in a lot and were also able to regularly host the grandparents for meals. Kamaole Sands will forever be a place where we love to stay and this unit makes it even better with its prime location and beautiful sunsets. Thank you!

Great location, so close to everything to do on the island including the beach

Wonderful unit and location, clean and has everything you need. Pool area is great but was a little annoying with some residents leaving towels on pool chairs to reserve them and then dissappear for hours at the beach. Water for showers just warm enough, could have been a notch higher and a/c unit in 2nd bedroom was rather loud. All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Great property, in an ideal location

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as stated in the ad and as expected. The unit was clean, beds comfy, and ac was sufficient. We had young kids and picked the property due to the fenced pool, and the close location of the beach. We utilized the pool, the bbq area, and enjoyed the grounds. Overall we had a great experience.

Our family had an excellent stay in the condo on our first trip to Maui. Location was a short walk to a number of beaches in Kihei plus there was the option to stay and relax at the resort pool. We could not have asked for a better experience.

This condo is top notch! We’ve stayed at KS a number of times and this condo was by far the best we stayed at. The cleanliness was superb, location was unbeatable and the amenities of the condo couldn’t be beat. Families and/or groups this is the the condo to stay at!

Awesome last minute stay!!

My party originally planned to stay in Hana for 6 days but that changed so we decided to head back to the WSW Maui and found this gem. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The kitchen was stocked with more than one could ever use even if you stayed for a month :). The washer/dryer unit was clean and worked properly. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy as was the bedroom downstairs. The booklet that included instruction for operating the tv/cable was easily understandable. The lanai was large, and the neighbors were friendly (i believe they were visitors as well) The grounds were just out of this world. This condo overlooked the pool area, and one event was a hula lesson which was fun to watch from the lanai. Nice and quiet in the evenings. Only a short stay but I would definitely return.

Everything and More

We've had the benefit of staying at the Kamole Sands a number of times. Based on the numerous properties we've visited, I would suggest that this property is absolutely one of the best if not the best in terms of service, beautiful grounds, pool, access to the beach, BBQ, walking paths, shops, restaurants, food......and where you can't walk.........very reasonable drives. We have two condo units that we have become accustomed to staying at and they are for sure the most updated, clean, well stocked and comfortable we've had the enjoyment to use.

Really enjoyed our stay. Apartment is bright and spacious , very well equipped with comfy beds and good ac. Location is across the road from beach and a few mins drive from restaurants . It was clean , with a great kitchen ,there was some wear on the furniture as expected from a vacation rental but nothing major. The lanai was big and breezy overlooking the pool . We had previously stayed at kamaole on the ground floor which was very dark so I definitely preferred being on the top floor. It was good value for money great for families

Beautiful, spacious condo

This place is a gem! So happy we found this gorgeous spot right in the heart of the Wailea resorts. From the immaculately kept grounds to the open floor plan with a large lanai and ocean views, it was ( almost) perfect. The first full day and night were HOT- our air conditioner wasn't working, so that really is my only complaint. That was eventually resolved and it was great from then on out. We appreciated so many thoughtful touches, such as a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, extra pillows, the smart tv, the beach chairs and beach toys, the pickle ball paddles and court just steps away, etc. I should also mention that the property managers were easy to get a hold of and were helpful and friendly leading up to the stay and throughout. This is the first time we went the condo route in Wailea and we weren't disappointed. Also worth mentioning is that it was blissfully quiet, even with children/ larger families and groups nearby. If you're looking for peaceful, you'll be rewarded. Looking forward to a future stay!

Kamaole Sands 3-406 - May 2022

4 of us stayed at this property in early May. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the lanai and the amenities the larger property offered. The fitness center was under construction and that was unfortunate. We had an incident with a glass shower door that abruptly disintegrated, but the property management sent Jessie to clean up the same day and they provided a shower curtain fix. The circular staircase could be a challenge for some, but the loft was private and well appointed. Kamaole Sands is very convenient for South Maui access. Overall, a beautiful property.
