The cottage on Lake Huron was perfect to get away from a hectic week. The perfect and relaxing weekend. The cottage was just right for me, and it was exceptionally clean and cozy. I hope to return.
They property was wonderful and i very much enjoyed my stay here.. i will definitely stay there again... The property is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location....The owners are suoer aweet and very helpful with anything that my come up ....
Our cottage (#4) was cozy and clean. Everything we needed was there for our convenience. I loved the french doors overlooking the water. Although we had unfavourable weather, we spent our time out visiting local antiques and flea markets. There are many! All of the nearby towns and villages host quaint shops and unique bars/restaurants. The furniture in the cottage was in good shape and comfortable. If I had anything negative to note, it would be the shower as it is on the small side but still doable. Our host greeted us when we arrived and she was very friendly and ensured that we knew that she was there if there was anything we needed. All in all, an enjoyable stay.
We stayed in cottage 4 this year and it was just as wonderful as our stay in cottage 3 last year. I have no complaints. We'll come back as often as they'll have us. Love, love, love this place!
Sitting on the deck with a beautiful view of Lake Huron was the perfect setting for a relaxing few days, plus the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!
My sister and I had a great weekend away. Her husband has been ill, and she really needed to get away. We planned a trip to Art in the Grove in Croswell on Saturday, and Friday we just chilled at the cottage. She was so grateful for the chance to de-stress.
Me and my wife stayed here during peak fall color. The view of the water was breathtaking. We stayed in cottage number four which had a direct view of the lake just outside the bedroom. House had the feel of a small cozy cottage and is well maintained. It was very quiet and peaceful and the fall colors surrounding the cottages was very magical. Stairs leading down to the water was awesome and looks great for swimming in the summer. Definitely an experience to remember.
The cottage was clean and well supplied. We stayed in #4. Large community fire pit. BYOW. There are plenty of ppl along the hwy selling bundles of wood. View of Lake Huron was beautiful. I could hear the waves at night. Lexington is minutes away to the south. Port Sanilac to the north, 1/2 hour or so to get there.
We love this place. This was our 4th time on the property, and the 3rd time in Cottage #4. It’s everything you would expect it to be - clean, rustic, comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake. We were actually on our honeymoon on this visit, and Karl was nice enough to leave us a bottle of Prosecco! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. We’ll be back next summer!
The cottage was very cute and had everything we needed. I was disappointed that there was no beach to walk on. The deck down by the water was nice though.
This cottage has such an amazing view of the lake! You could take in the view from the communal patio, private patio attached to the cottage, or from the privacy of the bedroom through opened French doors.
Spent a two night getaway at this cozy cabin, unit 4. Small but just perfect for us. The decor outside and inside reminds me of a charming Irish Cottage on an ocean bluff - and yet we were on a high ground overlooking one of Michigans Great Lakes, Lake Huron. Recommend highly and look forward to returning next year.
We tried to check in at 3pm as per directed but the door was locked but remedied by the owner a few minutes later.
the views from our bedroom were stunning.
Amazing little cottage, me and fiance had so much fun! While booking the cottage we were under the impression that each cabin had it's own firepit, however it is a community one. At first we were worried, but it was better than expected. Super quiet and cozy, over looking the lake! 😁😊 Thanks so much!
We stayed at cottage 4 and it was the best cottage on site for an awesome lake view! You could relax on the porch, bedroom and dining area all with views of the lake. Having my 2 year old toddler with me made me nervous near the bluff but there were multiple beaches in the area just a few minutes away. Michigan weather it was 90 degrees one day and 50 degrees the next. The cabins had fans to keep us cool and a nice fireplace to warm us up! Highlights of the trip were the views, beaches , a nearby petting farm, and the Lexington County Park.
