Sonoma Valley Getaway is the perfect place to escape and enjoy the beauty of wine country. It is located in the quaint Kenwood Village and is walking distance to tasting rooms, restaurants and parks and minutes away from dozens of world class wineries by car. For more exploring, the Napa Valley is a lovely 30 minute drive through the valley vineyards!

Sonoma Valley Getaway is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located in the heart of Kenwood in the Sonoma Valley. Perfect for 2 couples, this home features a spacious living room, separate dining room with fireplace (candles) a well equipped gourmet kitchen with new cabinets, new stainless appliances and a 6 burner commercial style gas range. You will find everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal.

Both beds are queen size with high quality linens, comfortable pillows and feather duvets. There are two recently remodeled bathrooms with glass showers and complimentary toiletries. Perfect as each couple has their own bathroom.

To help extend your stay, there is a full size washer and dryer. Modern conveniences include a Smart TV with cable, Roku and WIFI internet access. Gas heat and air conditioning keep this home comfortable in all seasons.

Outside, in our large and private back yard and patio, you can unwind while enjoying local food and wine under the shade of our wisteria and grape trellis. During the summer months, spend warm evenings grilling on the gas BBQ (available in winter by request prior to stay). Our natural yard includes fruit and olive trees, berry bushes and lavender.

Guests have access to the entire house and yard. Off-street parking for 2 cars is provided in the driveway. Keyless entry allows for convenient access and flexible arrival time.

From Kenwood, guest can easily visit Glen Ellen, the historic Sonoma Plaza, the beautiful Sonoma Coast, Healdsburg, the Dry Creek Valley and the Russian River and the Napa Valley . . . all less than an hour away. Drive just a little farther and you can explore the Alexander and Anderson Valleys to the North.

Our home is not suitable for young children. We do not allow organized parties or dinners. Registered guests only are allowed on the property. Read our house rules as they are very important to us. Please enjoy our home and leave it the way you found it. Also, respect our neighbors while enjoying yourselves and the surroundings!

Kenwood is located between Sonoma and Santa Rosa in the center of the Valley of the Moon and is ideally situated to explore both the Sonoma and Napa Wine regions. Dozens of world class wineries, award winning restaurants, wonderful shops and beautiful parks are minutes away. Many wineries, several restaurants, a full service market, two parks and several churches are all within walking distance. Jack London and Sugarloaf State Parks are minutes away by car and offer both historical and hiking opportunities. Jack London and Sugarloaf State Park are minutes away for hiking and picnicking.

We are long-time Sonoma County residents, so we also keep a binder in the house highlighting our favorite local destinations.

Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa is about 40 minutes away while the San Francisco and Oakland airports are both about 90 minutes away. In addition to Uber and Lyft, a quick internet search will connect you to many tour operators that can arrange local transportation and wine tours.
