The tiny home is close to everything and because of the property gives the feel you would have to drive miles up a mountain to get the secluded feel.
Very unique stay and would stay here again
This was a wonderful place to stay. The tiny home is cozy without feeling too small, and having a hot tub to relax in was an excellent way to unwind at night. There are plenty of amenities, and the location is extremely convenient to most anything you’d want to do while visiting Asheville. Would definitely book this stay again.
Perfect little house, just on the outskirts of town
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Sara’s tiny home. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our two dogs. We were only a few miles from downtown, which made for a short Uber ride. The house feels fairly private, and backs up to a golf course that made for a great place to walk the dogs in the mornings :). Almost every amenity you could need was provided. We will definitely be staying here next time we are visiting Asheville!
Tiny home located behind main house. Location is very convenient to local restaurants/bars and downtown Asheville. You do have to park at the main house and walk down (maybe 20-30 yards) to the tiny home. Not a problem, but if you are in town for a wedding with dressy clothes, or maybe somebody who isn't physically capable, it is worth considering. House itself is fairly private, it does overlook part of a golf course, but remains hidden by the foliage. We very much enjoyed the hot tub. If you enjoy tiny homes, youll love this one.
I always wanted to have a getaway in a tiny home; but when your partner is 6' 4" most tiny homes don't seem accommodating. No worries here! The loft, king size bed, and outdoor space left us both satisfied with our stay. Just a short drive to downtown, restaurants, or stores. There are railroad tracks nearby, but ear plugs were provided :) the backyard is also next to a golf course - so plan hot tub time accordingly if you prefer privacy. Sara is a wonderful host! She came over quickly when we needed help connecting the TV to the WiFi, and has the whole place stocked with almost anything you could need. We felt right at home.
the little house was just right for a christmas holiday vacation...except that the night temperature was two degrees and for two daily temps not out of the teens...the house remained warm...but water pipes froze..no one's fault due to probably coldest weather in many years there...we got by. Sara tried to thaw pipes, but that was not possible...she did her best, bringing gallons of water for our needs...she plans to update the small bathroom heater and the burner in the kitchen....maybe there willl be an opportunity to spend time there again when weather is better
The location was perfect for our trip to Ashville. We were visiting family. The hot tub and the ability to bring our dog was a highlight. Internet service was excellent!
Some things you should know, the host can't do much about the neighbors having a rooster that starts about 7 am. your going to need ear plugs for that and the city noise.
The bed is extrememly comfortable, but the lack of hot water did not work for me. I get it "small house" small water heater, i travel in a 19 foot camper so no how to conserve water. Not what I want to do on vacy. We did speak to the host about it, we do think there is a issue with this.
the porch space is lovely for eating out side, the climb down and in and up and out to the place can be a a lot at the end of the day. If you venture off deck to walk dog or yourself, beware of posion ivy.
The house was extememly clean with all kinds of extras, in the kitchen and the towels were fluffy with great bathrobes. We wanted to love it... BUT we felt...The house had a little bit of a neglect feeling.. had a musty smell, gutters full of leaves, yard not cleaned up. celing leak stains, needed some work inside and out.
We liked it and it was a perfect location for us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first tiny house experience! The property is well stocked, and a lot of fun to stay at. The host provided just about everything you need to cook, eat, drink & relax. The hot tub was a great way to unwind & just massage away the day.
Although small, the cooking area, sink, and mini-fridge are perfect. The bed is super comfortable and the furniture is great!
We would be honored to be able to return & stay here…it was simply wonderful!!!
It was a great option if you do not need much space and like to be close to downtown Asheville. Has a glamping feel, so I would take that in mind if you are looking for something more luxurious, but if you're in Asheville, I say you would typically like something like this treehouse feel.
We had such a fun time in this cozy little cabin. The owner was very gracious with all the amenities provided. The hot tub was very enjoyable and felt like a nice private spot to relax. Everything you needed was there, and the owner was easy to communicate with. Thank you for the great getaway!
My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at Sara's home! The hot tub was great, and the location was so much better than we thought. Close to greatest spots of Asheville!
My experience at Sara’s tiny home was amazing!!! Spent my birthday relaxing with my boyfriend and fur son. And exploring the many things Asheville has to offer. Sara is an AMAZING host! Whatever we needed she was quick to respond and help! Can’t wait to book again in the future!!!
