Surfside 1609 is located just steps from the sugar white sands of the Gulf of Mexico and offers plenty of space for up to 6 people. This 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit has a full kitchen, equipped with all of the cookware and appliances needed to create great meals during your stay. All of the rooms in this condo have access to the huge balcony that runs the length of the condo! The master features a king sized bed, en-suite bathroom, large walk in closet, and balcony access with awesome views of the Gulf. The second bedroom features a queen sized bed, ocean views, wall mounted flat screen tv, and balcony access. The 2nd bathroom has a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The living room's leather queen sized sleeper sofa allows additional sleeping accommodations for 2 more guests.

We had a great stay! The view was wonderful, the unit was as pictured, and there were plenty of amenities. We enjoyed the beach chairs, relaxed by the pool, and cooked dinner each evening before walking over to Mooncrush music festival. This is a great location and we would stay again.

Great experience, wonderful vacation!

5 Star View!!

The condo was perfect for my group. I had “kids” ranging 13-22. The location near the beach was ideal. Our party could also safely walk to the beach from the resort via the bridge over the street. We also utilized the beach service (one umbrella and 2 chairs) every day. My favorite part was the beautiful view from the balcony. Julie was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this property and plan to return next summer!!

This property was Great! It was a terrific location to restaurants, the grocery store, the beach and the Concert venue we were attending. The Condo itself was clean, comfortable and provided all the amenities we needed. The view from of the ocean, beach and pool area from the outdoor deck was Spectacular! The one thing I appreciated was the large walk-in shower. I am disabled and it made it so much easier for me. We definitely would recommend renting this VRBO. It’s proximity to the beautiful beach was perfect and it is in walking distance of so many places. It also comes with the use of beach chairs and umbrellas each day for free. The Restaurant in the same building has excellent food and it is convenient. We will definitely rent it again. Thank you for making our trip so Special!

We loved everything about this property. This was the best vacation we've had to date. We had everything we needed and then some. Already looking to book to return next year. Communication with Julie (the owner) was fantastic. And the view, well there are no words to describe. You couldn't ask for a better one!!! I highly recommend.

Everything was as described- clean and comfortable. The beach was close. We had everything we needed to cook meals right there and even grilled out a couple of evenings. Communication with the owner was simple with quick responses. Would definitely love to come back!!!

Awesome Veiws

The huge deck on the 16th floor gave us breathe taking views no matter where we were, both bedrooms, kitchen, or living room. The deck is tucked in a way that the wind is blocked but your view is not. It is nice to have the 2 chairs and umbrella on the beach. Pool was nice. Whale tail just a few blocks away has great fish tacos. Very pleased, we had a great time.

We had our first family vacation at Destin and we couldn't have asked for a better property! The check in process was smooth and our host was excellent with any questions we had. The room had amazing views and we were impressed with the restaurant at the condo! Highly recommend the blackened shrimp pasta! We loved it and would love to come back!

Top floor view was fabulous!

Julie's condo was clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony was just gorgeous! The complex had a really nice pool with 2 hot tubs and the restaurant ,The Royal Palm, had great food.. I highly recommend one of their appetizers, the fried green tomatoes with giant gulf shrimp on top and a wonderful sauce poured over the top. It made a meal for me. My husband said their grouper sandwich was the best he ever had.

Great place, but parking at full capacity

We had a wonderful stay. Great location and beautiful beach. The parking garage was packed though. There was nights we chose to walk to whalestail instead of chance to lose our parking.

We spent 4 nights and absolutely loved everything. Parking was a challenge, but we always found a spot within reasonable walking distance. We will definitely be back. The resort was wonderful, and the beach was amazing.

Excellent Experience at Surfside 1609!!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Surfside 1609 at the end of May! The condo was just as pictured and described: clean, updated hard floors in the bedrooms, well maintained- everything worked. No carpet anywhere!! It smelled fresh too! Julie was great with communicating about the check in and check out. The booking was simple and easy. The Royals Palm grill was great! Get the crab dip for sure!! The pool area, hot tubs, basketball courts, tennis courts were all clean and well maintained! Kids had a great time using them all! There were plenty restaurants within walking distance too! Surf Hut and Whales tails were perfect for eating on the beach! We will definitely be back!!
