We absolutely loved the location of the apartment. Having a shared courtyard made it easy to chat to the neighbours and there was always someone sitting in the central tables enjoying the sunshine. Although the apartment was petit it was well thought out and everything had its place. It was well equipped and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the location is perfect for exploring Paris. It’s quiet within the apartment complex but once you step outside onto the street the atmosphere is busy and full of character. We didn’t want to leave.

In the Opera District
Erik's Apartment is in the Opera district midway between the Opera Hall and the base of Montmartre. It is a 5 minute walk from the Cadet metro stop. It is clean, safe and in a great location.

Wir waren also zu viert. Dafür ist dieses Apartment definitiv zu klein, auch für nur wenige Tage. Zudem gibt es nur 2 Stühle und kaum Ablage- oder Aufhängemöglichkeiten (z.B. für Jacken oder Handtücher). Es fehlten Toilettenpapier und ausreichend Handtücher (die uns dann nachgeliefert wurden). Leider hatten wir am Anreisetag nur schleppenden Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Am Ende hat alles gut geklappt. Charme hat die Lage in dem freundlichen Viertel und in dem begrünten, ruhigen Innenhof.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - but arriving late at night and I found once the taxi dropped me off the apartment was a little hard to find - no light lit up the key pad to enter and then once inside there was no number on the apartment to know which was number 5. Also getting the key to work in the door (I found) difficult and on leaving the next morning I did not know you had to lift the handle to lock the door. All that said I found the apartment very cute, clean, quiet and very centrally located. Kaye.

Excellent spot to explore Paris from
This apartment is even better than it appears in the pictures. Stylishly refurbished and with a lovely outdoors area, it is a peaceful bolthole in a lovely area of Paris. It is close to the major attraction and the neighbour feels friendly, safe and fun.

Good location, but…
We had 6 nights here and found the bed comfortable. The bedroom doesn’t have a window, the toilet opens directly from the bedroom and shower has a glass door directly off the bedroom. Extra towels and somewhere to hand them would be good. The apartment is in a good position for exploring Paris and there are a couple of Metro stations nearby. It would be helpful if there were maps and Metro maps and some basic information. We will not stay here next time we visit Paris.

Katastrophaler Check-in Vorgang mit dem Gastgeber
Ich hätte die Infos zum Check-in Vorgang bereits drei Tage vor der Anreise automatisch in der App erhalten sollen was nicht der Fall war. Einen Tag vor Anreise musste ich dem Gastgeber noch nachrennen und ihn auf diversen Kanälen kontaktieren was sehr mühsam war. Vor Ort habe ich den richtigen Eingang nicht auf Anhieb gefunden woraufhin ich Eric angerufen hatte, um mir zu helfen. Statt mir zu helfen war er sehr aufgebracht und frech und hat mich indirekt als "dumm" dargestellt. So ein Verhalten geht gar nicht. Die Unterkunft an sich war sehr gut gelegen, jedoch von Sauberkeit keine Spur. Im Bad beim Waschbecken lag noch die benutzte Handseife mit Haaren drauf vom Gast davor. Grundsätzlich war in den Küchenschränken noch sehr viel angefangenes Essen von vorherigen Gästen drin. Da wurde schon lange nicht mehr reingeschaut, geschweige denn geputzt. Überall waren noch Krümel etc. Die Betten hingegen waren sauber. Aufgrund des Verhaltens des Gastgebers war es der erste und letzte Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft.

Really enjoyed the neighborhood. 10 minute walk to several Metro stations. Very quiet area. The best bread/pastrie shop 2 blocks away. Laundry place 3 doors away from outside door. Many dining options close by. If you like walking, we walked to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Moulin Rouge. About 5 blocks away is a really nice street market with lots of fresh veggies, fruit, meats. Nice

Lieu authentique au cœur de Paris
La description de l'appartement correspond tout à fait à l'annonce. Le lieu est très bien situé et nous a permis de visiter Paris très facilement. Le logement était propre et très bien agencé avec tout le confort nécessaire (il manque juste un ou 2 tabourets d'appoint pour 3 ou 4 personnes). Le lieu est vraiment très agréable, tout le monde se dit bonjour à l'intérieur de la propriété. Nous avons adoré ce lieu. L'arrivée autonome a également été un plus pour nous, ce qui nous a permis de commencer notre visite très vite. J'espère que nous aurons l'occasion de revenir un jour.

Herrliches Silvester in Paris
Wir haben knapp eine Woche hier verbracht. Die Unterkunft liegt optimal und ist über die Metrostationen Notre-Dame-de-Lorette und Cadet sehr gut erreichbar. Ums Eck befindet sich die charmante Rue des Martyrs, in der man einen Supermarkt, leckere Bäckereien (Tipp: Le Pain Retrouvé), Bars, Fischhändler, Metzger etc. findet. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Sacré-Cœur/Montmartre, Opéra Garnier, Galéries Lafayette u.a. sind auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Absprachen mit dem sehr sehr netten Vermieter Éric und die Schlüsselübergabe waren völlig unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft liegt absolut ruhig im Innenhof einer Wohnanlage in einer für den Autoverkehr gesperrten Seitenstraße. Sie ist für 2 Personen absolut ausreichend, top sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet, sodass wir uns nach anstrengenden Besichtigungstagen immer gefreut haben, in dieser kleinen Oase Ruhe zu finden. Insgesamt eine absolute Empfehlung!

Hébergement très correct, propre. Un bémol, manque de chaises, 2 chaises pour 4. Les deux qui étaient dehors étaient en bois et trempées. Un paillasson pour s'essuyer les pieds avt de rentrer serait nécessaire.

Quiet courtyard in the middle of the city
Property had everything we needed minus air conditioning and we were staying there during the severe heat warning in September. Had to do with fans but the apartment was so hot. Host was not communicative over VRBO for the entire period leading up to our stay, even when we wanted to adjust our dates, but communicated with us via WhatsApp on the day we were arriving.

Casa Parigina molto Bohemien
Sono stata 5 giorni a Parigi con le mie due figlie splendida Città, in questo alloggio davvero molto funzionale, struttura piccola ma per il tempo in cui si sta in casa davvero più che bene, posizionata in una zona molto bella Montmartre quartiere dinamico giovane e pieno di ogni servizi, brasserie boulangerie ad ogni angolo, supermercati comodissimi, posizione davvero ottima vicina alla MM fermata Cadet solo 5 min a piedi, il Sacro Cuore a 15 min a piedi Pigalle a 20 min a piedi, per poi essere comodi anche al raggiungimento dell'Opera teatro parigino. Insomma davvero una ottima posizione. La casa piccola ma con tutto il necessario, l'unica nota un pò scomoda il bagno nell'unica camera da letto della casa che non hai la privacy, per il resto io ci ritornerò di sicuro se passo da Parigi. Zona molto tranquilla e la cas aall'interno di un cortiletto davvero tipico!!!

Good value; good location; some comfort issues
We enjoyed being able to walk comfortably to Montmartre. There were a lot of dining and bakery options within walking distance The street was quiet, with a very nice shower and a kitchen that was well-stocked with dishes and utensils. (No oven, for anyone who might want to heat something up. That was not an issue for us.) The little cafe table outside of the unit was a nice touch, with lots of treats and plants in the (somewhat busy) courtyard, just as the photos show. Comfort could have been better. The photo on the listing shows a sofa, but that is not accurate. There was no sofa. There was a bed with pillows, set up as a would-be couch, but not great for sitting and reading guide books or having coffee. And the dining table had two chairs that were quite uncomfortable (though stylish). So there just wasn't a comfortable place to sit. If the weather had been bad, it would not have been a comfortable place to hang out. The bedroom has no windows. So while there was a standing fan that came in very handy on warm evenings, a ceiling fan would be a great addition to this room. The flat did not have an iron for touching up clothing. Overall, we recommend this flat. With some upgrades to make the living space more comfortable, it could be quite terrific.

Great apartment, great location.
The place is perfect and located in a nice area (rue des Martyrs is very lively with lots of food stores and restaurants). The courtyard with the table and chairs is lovely and great for a coffee or a drink. The beds are comfortable and the place was clean. The only problem we had was with the check-in as the code we were given was wrong and it took a long time to get a hold of the manager (a one time problem most likely). Apart from that it was exactly what we needed and I would stay there again.
