The cabin was very clean
The area was beautiful and relaxing
Not much to do this time of the year
Unfortunately we had to leave early because of an expected snow/ice storm
We paid for a night that we did not get to stay
We had the opportunity to book this beautiful cabin for an extremely reasonable price from a sweet couple that made sure we had everything we could need. The cabin was beautiful, spacious for my husband, toddler, and I. We were there for a wedding at the resort just 1 mile away and we're able to be close yet away from the chaos. We want to come back next year for a little long weekend in the beautiful fall foilage.
Denise was wonderful! Communication from the beginning was excellent. My husband and I can't express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect - cabin was clean, comfortable and the decor was so homey. Firepit and deck was a great way to enjoy the outdoors! Area was quiet, perfect for much needed rest and relaxation!
We enjoyed your stay very much. It was nice to have a full size fridge and a TV. It doesn't look out on the river but it's just a few steps away from river access for fishing. It was a very comfortable place to stay.
This is an absolutely perfect property. Steps from the river. The local people are incredibly helpful pointing out their favorite fishing spots. The cabin are meticulously maintained and cute as a bugs ear. The owners are spectacular people. They are accommodating and outstanding communicators. They went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to return and would recommend this property a million times over
The property was extremely clean and the renter was very responsive. They had everything you could need right in the cabin. The yard is beautiful with a nice fireplace. We truly enjoyed our stay.
We came to the Catskills to do some fly fishing and this cabin was perfectly located - steps from one river and a short drive to a ton of other fishing.
This property exceeded my expectations. The cabin is immaculately clean and welcoming. The owners communication was perfect and the entire stay was convenient and easy. Highly recommend for a warm secluded getaway in the winter.
Just the getaway we needed. Located in a very nice area close to fishing and the village of Hancock, it’s a really cozy place to take in the fresh air and get away from the city. Denise conducted a very nice no contact check in but we were still able to meet her and she was super sweet! She was very helpful in answering our questions and making us feel welcome. The property had a very nice fire pit which we used every night we were there and Denise even gave us some complementary firewood and charcoal to get us started :). On the coffee table were nice suggestions to eat to support the local town and potential adventures to enjoy! We Ate at a restaurant called little Italy which was pretty good! The home is cozy at night with basic necessities and very tidy! It also has such a wonderful view, I couldn’t wait to wake up just to see the leaves. Hoping one day to return again for a nice, peaceful time away. Thank you so much Denise :)
we had the most perfect weekend. We were able to relax and get away in the quiet neighborhood. It was perfect.

About the host

Hi folks! My husband and I grew up in this area and have lived on the Delaware River for the past 40 years. In this new retirement venture, we have rented to people from across the United States. We are happy to meet, greet, and host you in our cabins and so proud of the comments we receive from past guests. Most promise to return!
What makes this property unique
As our guests have told us, this is so much more than a hotel room. You have your own small home for the duration of your stay, with everything you need to rest, relax and unwind whether it be on the river, at local festivals, or during camp visitation. We are so easy to get to--right off Route 17, but the minute you arrive you will see cozy cabins, lots of green space, and the occasional wildlife! We are within a mile of our rentals and are available for any questions or concerns, and yes, even directions to the nearest restaurant or family-friendly farm.
