We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was very comfortable, peaceful, and very well appointed with everything we needed for our six-night stay. We loved the patio and the two floor format. Terrific location in SE.
This is a very nice, new and clean property. There is a patio for family style get together and a balcony off the second floor bedroom. I recommend this rental to anyone visiting Portland.

Very nice cottage with a great location!
The cottage was in a quiet neighborhood less than 3 miles to downtown. Close to many shops and great restaurants. Nicely furnished, roomy and very comfortable stay. Internet connections were very good. Highly recommended for your Portland experience.

Cute, Clean, & Comfortable
We loved our stay in Jay’s two story cottage and hope to stay there as many times as we return to Portland. The location is central to all parts of the city, yet we were tucked away in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The cottage was light-filled, well-appointed and roomy. A great place to stay!
Very nice two story cottage. No complaints really. Bed could be a little better, my wife and I prefer a harder mattress. Good location, friendly host. Would stay again.
The property was as represented - clean, fresh, newish and private. Its a separate 2 story building tucked behind a neighborhood house in a quiet area. We hope to stay again next time we're in Portland.
This cottage is cozy and clean . Lovely neighborhood, very quiet.Easy check in and out.Host is responsive in a timely manner to questions . Close to groceries and restaurants…(host was very helpful with suggestions) We are happy to have found this gem. - we will be back.
We stayed for two months, working remote while visiting friends and family. The two story unit was perfect for us and we really enjoyed our time here. Jay and Carol are great hosts and we really appreciated the privacy and use of the outdoor deck space. Easy walks to Clinton, Division and Hawthorne and all the amazing restaurants. One of the best places we've stayed in Portland.
Close to many great restaurants. There’s a Target two blocks away that had everything we forgot to bring.
The house is super cute with great patio. The host Jay and Kay were very good to us. Thank you.
I stayed here with my two kids 5 and 4 for 5 nights. The cottage is a new construction with modern appliances and tastefully furnished. Our needs were met by the cottage. Jay and his wife were nice and friendly host. We will definitely come here when we are in Portland.
The cottage was clean and cozy with a lovely bedroom balcony and a fantastic outdoor space. There was plenty of space to relax and a nice kitchen with plenty of utensils/pots/pans for cooking. The owners were in the front house and happy to assist me with questions and suggestions. It was also great to be able to walk to Division Street to enjoy shops, cocktails, and good food.
Overall, very pleased with accuracy of listing, comfort and amenities in property. Wi-Fi was great even with two teens, multiple TVs and devices going at once. 99% of the property was spotless, but the shower had a lot of mildew buildup and looked like the cleaning crew forgot to clean it. Given the state of the rest of the property, I think it was just an oversight, but I did end up cleaning it before we used it. Communication took a couple tries initially, but then was great.
We enjoyed our stay and found it roomy enough for 2 adults for 2 weeks. Nice that it’s relatively new. Shower is awesome. Bedroom furniture is nice. We cannot give this rental 5 stars mainly because the yard and deck have been neglected and provide a rather depressing view. If weeds were pulled, dead plants removed, and worn out rugs removed, it could be nice.
The two story cottage was a perfect home away from home during our recent trip to visit our daughter in Portland. The cottage is clean, cozy and is in a great location. Target and a great brew pub are just a walk away! Beds super comfy! The owners are very respectful of your space, but are available when needed. I accidentally left something on the balcony one day and they brought it in out of the rain. I forgot that rain is inevitable in Portland! Thanks, Jay for providing such a nice vacation rental. I'll be back in the Spring!
