About the host
Hosted by Christine N Kawuma

Hello Guest, .
I am Christine an Economist, farmer and business Lady from Uganda- the Pearl of Africa with a very beautiful and all green environment throughout the year. Uganda experiences moderate temperatures throughout the year, around 22.8°C, with monthly temperatures ranging between 21.7°C (July) and 23.9°C (February). Uganda’s climate has two dry seasons, from December to February and June to July, and two wet seasons, from September to November and March to May. The northeast region experiences one continuous wet season from March to November and a dry season from December to February. Although the wet season has more rainfall, it does not necessarily mean heavy downpours throughout the day. Rain can be experienced at night and for a few hours during the day, so it is still possible to enjoy a holiday in this season.
The presence of Lake Victoria provides moisture to the south and induces precipitation in the western shores. Without this lake, Uganda would be dry and arid throughout the year. Due to the equator running through Uganda, the sunrise is around 6:30 am, and the sunset is around 7 pm throughout the entire year. I enjoy meeting creative, passionate people from near and afar sharing the Love of my Motherland with them:- the history, food, art, wildlife, and music. I am relaxed and welcoming. Staying with me like staying with a friend or family. This is not a hotel, or bed and breakfast "business" there are no teddy bears or many fancy paintings, it is mostly a casual place with LOVE but "it is real life here". I Love travelling and adventure, reading, making and maintaining new friends, and farming, site seeing, driving road trips. I enjoy being a host because of sharing the rich history of other cultures.
