We had a fantastic trip with our group of kids and adults at the Last Resort. The ski conidtions were fantastic - lots of snow, which made the location even more key. The house is only about a 4 mintue drive to Lincoln Peak! The views from each room were so fantastic and all the cool ski strogae and drying spaces were great especially with a house full of skiiers. The house has everything you need -- but could use a tiny more space in the bathrooms -- but really who cares when you are on the mountain each day! Donna was so nice and helpful, it could not have been any easier.
This was our second time at The Last Resort but certainly not our last! The house is beautiful and fits our large family of all ages perfectly. Teens able to hide away in the basement playing games and not waking up the babies upstairs. The window is beautiful to look at the mountain. Fireplace is great for s’mores. Yard is big enough for a wiffleball game and the location is perfect for all the swimming holes and activities in the area. The book of info at the house was so helpful in letting us find a bunch of great new spots. Donna was very responsive and helpful in all our questions. Our only complaint would be the lack of AC. In our years coming to VT in the summer it’s usually cool and not needed but this year was HOT especially upstairs. We still look forward to coming back here!!
We've been coming up to Sugarbush for the last 3 years and everyone agreed The Last Resort has been the best place we've stayed: pluses include a fantastic view of the mountain, super cute interior with fireplace and plenty of warm beds, boot-drying rack(!), and a stocked kitchen. Hoping to come back again next year!
Beautiful Ski Home with lots of old wood and natural light. Minutes from Lincoln peak. Great house for entertaining. Clearly a family owned home with lots of history and good times. The house has great bones, but for the price needs some upgrades. The property was essentially a mud pit and can use updated parking or additional gravel. The house was musty with lots of rugs and the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Advertised as with a Sauna, however it was padlocked shut and the property manager said “It was broken.” All in all an ok place with lots of potential. Xmas week in VT is always a gamble for snow and unfortunately, this time was a miss (1/3 trails at Sugarbush were open and there was minimal snow).
Had a great long weekend stay in your home. The house was great - large enough for all of us - great room is wonderful with beautiful view of fall foliage - large bedrooms - separate livingroom downstairs for kids - no foosball table though. We cooked breakfast and dinner everyday - kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need - communication with owner was terrific with prompt responses - 25-30 minutes to the University - but so close to sugarbush resort and golf courses - highly recommend.
We booked this house for my family of 12. We loved it! View is beautiful! House very clean and comfortable! Plenty of beds. Can’t wait to go back for another trip. Location was wonderful for hiking, waterfalls, and quaint villages.
This house was perfect for our large family. The location is right near so many fun summer spots to swim, which was our favorite. The setup was ideal to allow babies sleeping while teens watched movies and adults played cards on the massive table in the great room. We got to see an incredible lightning storm from the panoramic view window. We grilled on the large deck, cooked in the stocked kitchen, played wiffleball on the front lawn, and made so many memories in this beautiful home. The owners were very friendly and attentive when we called. This house is a gem!! Hope to come back again next year!!
Loaded with kitchen tools, all appliances work, all beds comfy, outside grill works , plenty of elbow room ,the view is great, AWD 4wheel drive a must , March2 to5 2023
Overall the whole crew of 10 loved the house. Great bedrooms with comfy beds. Excellent communication with the owner. The house has a relaxed and comfy feel to it. We all felt right at home. It had everything we needed. Awesome views of Sugarbush and about a 5 minute ride to the mountain. Couldn't have asked for a better spot. The only negative, is the sauna was not in working order. This was kind of a bummer because when we booked (which was last August or September I believe) it was listed as an amenity. And it did play a part in choosing the house and wanting it for after a shredding day at the mountain. But in the grand scheme of things it wasn't a major issue. Though it would have been nice to know beforehand it wasn't operational to avoid disappointment on arrival. Again overall, we all felt like we found the perfect place for us. We had an amazing stay. Thanks again to you Donna!
This is a beautiful and rustic property about a mile from the main Lincoln peak area of Sugarbush. It is very well designed with spacious common area but plenty of bedrooms to accommodate our group of 14. We loved the wood fireplace!
The house was great for our trip. It was everything we expected and more. Will definitely look to book this house again when we come back to Sugarbush.
Our family had a great ski vacation at this property. Great location - close to the ski mountain, excellent views, and plenty of room for your party. The house was well stocked with necessities and the owners are accommodating. I would recommend this property.
The views are beautiful from every room. The beds are comfortable and the house is laid out perfectly for a large group to eat, play games and enjoy a movie together.
We really enjoyed our stay. Great home. Enough space for 12 + of us to play games around the fire. The best part was everyone sitting comfortably at the table for Thanksgiving dinner. Beautiful views and comfy beds.
This is a rustic, very comfortable house. Large enough to keep all happy. It’s view of the mountain is key, but everything was as expected, and quite suitable.
