New home near Fairgrounds in Historic 7th Ward
Comfortable, new construction property - walk to Jazz Fest or Voodoo Fest. Near French Quarter and downtown. This is my primary residence, and furnished much more nicely than a full-time rental.
This property is 2 bedroom, 2 bath and built in 2017. It is conveniently located 5 blocks to the Fairgrounds and very near the Bywater, Maringy, and French Quarter. The house is fully furnished and the neighborhood is mainly residential, with some nice restaurants and classic New Orleans bars nearby. Central A/C, fully furnished kitchen, laundry machines, off street parking with automatic gate, and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a new memory foam Queen mattress, and the guest bedroom has a Queen memory foam platform sofa that sleeps just like a real bed.
The neighborhood is the Historic 7th Ward, and is near: Esplanade Avenue, St. Claude Avenue, I-10, City Park, Lafitte Greenway, Historic Treme neighborhood. Bicycle rentals, restaurants, bars, record shops, and many other eclectic shops are all walking distance. Enjoy the neighborhood - walk along oak tree-lined Dorgenois or Esplanade Avenue and visit the Bayou Road corridor.

I work in IT Project Management, and have lived in New Orleans since 2005. My family has been in Louisiana since arriving in the US before 1800. There is no place I would rather live!
Why they chose this property
This property is located centrally to many nice areas you should visit while in New Orleans. Near Esplanade Avenue, you'll be in between the French Quarter and City Park. It is easy and quick to get to the Bywater/Marigny, Frenchmen Street, the French Quarter, downtown, City Park, Mid City, and the Lakefront. 5 block walk to Jazz Fest at the Farigrounds.
What makes this property unique
This house is new construction, fresh, and comfortable. There is gated off-street parking and it is in a great area to walk to nearby restaurants and shops. Public transportation and bikes are nearby and easily accessible. Walk to the Fairgrounds, City Park, Esplanade Avenue.
