Discover Surfside Beach from this cozy property a few steps away from the beach (Beach 100 Yards, about a 2 minute walk). Relax by the beautiful shared pool in the backyard and grill steak or hamburgers with the a gas grill. (semi private yard and pool, shared by other unit) This unit sleeps two adults with a comfortable queen size bed. It is on one side of the first of two floors so no need to walk up and down flights of stairs. 550 sq. ft. of gorgeous living space. It has a quaint front porch and one designated parking spot. It has a shared coin washer and dryer. Surfside has its own police force and there are a couple security cameras on the outside as well. This property has everything necessary for a relaxing getaway. You have the comforts of a home away from home except with an ocean and exciting activities all around. The owner Scott lives in the upstairs apartment so the property is well maintained and safe. An Entire Ocean Is Just Down The Street! The property is close soon to be newly rebuilt Surfside Pier. In The Area There is Plenty of Golf Courses, Mini Golf, Fishing, Shopping, Dining. Price includes Clean Bed Linens and two sets of Towels. Non smoking and no pets allowed in this apartment. This is not the place to get your party on, but maybe a place to retreat from the party of friends and family that are in town. If you are looking for a semi private, peaceful, quiet beach getaway, than you found it!

High Tides High Marks

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The owner who lives upstairs was excellent. The property was clean, close to the beach, quiet and peaceful, was everything we wanted. Plus the owner has a golf cart onsite for reasonable rent. We will definitely be staying there again.

Close to the beach

Great location, short walk to the beach and restaurants. It was nice having a pool to lounge by, very clean and very accurate description, we will definitely stay again, this place was a great find.

We rented High tide and our friends rented Low tide. We had the pool and everything to our selves and we enjoyed it We have stayed with Scott over 10 times so far.

Amazing Spring Break

We had an amazing stay! Hi Tide has everything you need and then some!! When it’s windy at the beach, you can enjoy Scott’s pool!!! You can walk to beach, pier and bars. We are already planning on coming back next year.

This was an absolutely terrific property! Just a 2 minute walk to the beach, super quiet neighborhood, and the pool and pool area was fantastic. It was also just minutes away from several local restaurants. Scott, the owner, was so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit the area. I highly recommend this residence!

Great place!

Love the location of this place! 2 small blocks from the beach. It is on a quiet street, very comfortable and relaxing. No steps, has everything you could need in the kitchen, big tvs, nice, comfortable bed. Private and beautiful pool in the back. Cute porch glider in the front. Not fancy but nice. We have been last 2 years.

Charming surfside apartment

I absolutely loved this apartment. My best friend and I decided to go on a vacation all alone this year and it was amazing finding this place. It is so close to the beach and the pool was a wonderful addition. Very clean apartment and had all the amenities that we were looking for. We will definitely hope to rent this place for any future beach excursions.

Accommodations were fantastic. Apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Surfside Beach was a quiet, friendly neighborhood with plenty of restaurant options from BBQ- Gracious Pig to delicious Italian- Malibu of Surfside. Hoping to make it back next year.

Amazing Place

This was an amazing place to stay and the host was very gracious and accessible for any questions. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need and had updated appliances. It was very clean and updated. I would highly recommend to any couple that wanted a place to stay. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach.

This is a great unit in a great location! It has everything you could need. The bed is comfortable, and the whole apartment was spotless. It is a very short walk to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. I wish i never had to leave!

Great Beach House

We have stayed at this property before and returned because we love the place. Easy walk to the beach and or restaurants/bars. The private pool in the back yard is great if you don't want to go to the beach. Scott is a wonderful person and took care of everything we needed or asked for. The place is super clean and cozy. We will return again and again.

Great Week

My wife and I had a great week in Surfside. The rental was just right in location, size and price for us. My only suggestion to owner would be the need for a chair in either living area or bedroom. The toilet needs some adjustment as a little unstable.

My boyfriend and I came down to Surfside for a spontaneous getaway. The place was even more gorgeous in person, the pictures are just a sneak peek. The place was extremely clean, quiet, so close to everything including the beach! The property manager, Scott, was so kind and generous. He was willing to help us out with anything we may have needed or ideas of places to go! I’d recommend this for anyone because of the owner and the location! It’s a hidden gem for sure! We will be back again!

Practically Perfect in Every Way

Everything about this vacation rental is practically perfect! The neighborhood is quiet and so beautiful with lovely shade trees and charming beach homes. There are nearby parks or playgrounds for kids. The very short walk down 3rd to the public beach access was so convenient. The house is very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. We didn't use the pool or grill. Renting Scott's golf cart was fun. It was a wonderful week of vacation!

COVID 19

Travelled from Canada and arrived March 12th, we had 6 good days that we enjoyed and I'm sure had the virus not happened we would have enjoyed our holiday. As it turns out, we left Surfside Beach 8 days early to head home to Canada in a very unsettled time. Restaurants were closed except for curbside take-out and most people were self isolating, social distancing. Schools closed. Scott was a wonderful host, I'm sorry we didn't get to stay for our entire rental.

I own a few properties in the Myrtle beach area and also in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. I grew up near the Great Lakes, specifically in Erie PA. There is a wonderful beach there however they have pretty harsh winters so when the opportune time came, I loaded up my truck and moved south. I am currently living in the upstairs apartment so if there are any issues or needs I can usually attend to them right away.

Why they chose this property

I purchased this property and why so many like this property for three main reasons, location, but also for location and finally because the town of Surfside is a very quiet, safe area (location). Surfside even has their own police force! It is also a charming town and it has it's own pier and beautiful beaches!

What makes this property unique

The benefits of a stay at "SurfsUp HiTide" is the proximity to the ocean. It also has the simple conveniences of an apartment versus a hotel. It has it's own parking spot right in front of the property, the private back yard/ pool, a private side entrance and back door to the pool area, a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator, microwave and a toaster! A home away from home but so much more!
