Recently updated, this beachfront condo is proudly being re-introduced to the vacation rental program! New owners have really made this place more special than it ever has been! Capri 104 sleeps 4. King size bed and a sleeper sofa. Friday to Friday rental. Seasonal Beach Service (March 15 - October 31) is included with the rentals (2 chairs and 1 umbrella set up daily on the beach). NO TENTS OR CANOPIES ALLOWED ON BEACH. Complimentary wifi included for streaming your favorite apps! Cable not provided.


Destin, Florida is known as "the worlds luckiest fishing village", but we do not stop there! The whitest beaches of Florida and the Emerald Green waters are unmatched. Shop in an outlet mall, an upscale outdoor mall, or one of many boutique stores. When you are through shopping, there are endless places to enjoy the local fare or just get a quick bite. Don't forget about our water park, amusement parks, and our dozens of golf courses.

Love Destin!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location! Beautiful weather! Fantastic restaurants! There were 2 things that probably are an easy fix. 1. The floor needs to be steamed/deep cleaned. Husband had on new pair of white socks. When he took them off they were black. Could not get them clean. 2. Maybe leave instructions for the tv remotes in the living area. It was a big hassle. Finally had to go to the office to get a little help. And they didn't know how to work it either. BUT, we would definitely stay here again. Love the beach chairs!!! Thank you!!

Capri 104 - April 2024

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All good! We started staying at Capri by the Gulf a few year ago and this is the only place we stay now when we go to Destin. Like that it is gated and you can pull right up to your unit. The updated laundry facilities is great too! We have stayed in several different units. Some are a little nicer than others but for the most part they all are good. The only comments on this particular unit is the oven is rather old so the temperature is not real accurate. Please get rid of the plastic on the night stands by the tables and invest in some glass if you want to protect the table tops. The plastic did not seem that sanitary. The A/C in this unit was great, but the vent blows right on you when in bed. Would be nice to adjust where this did not happen. We have stayed in at least 5 different units at Capri and this one ranks in the top two so far. Just making some suggestions for improvement.

LOCATION!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: the location is everything! The King bed was super comfy, and the condo was super clean upon arrival. The cons: terrible plumbing! Had to contact the rental property 4 of our 7 days on vacation because the toilet wouldn’t flush and was backing up. We waited around thinking we needed to be present so someone could come in to our unit only to find out everyone’s stay was disrupted with plumbing problems! Dishwasher overflowed one time and soap went all over the kitchen floor. AC would not drop below 70, and the toilet paper holder was the most annoying thing ever as it wouldn’t stay put together so our toilet paper was constantly falling to the floor and rolling under the vanity. The sleeper sofa was super UNCOMFORTABLE and thin as could be. For that reason, I’d say this unit is only meant for 2 people because of our family of 4, only 2 of us slept good. The gate code was changed on day 6 of us being there without our knowledge and no message was sent until the end of the day causing another slight inconvenience when trying to get back to our unit. The washer/dryers available at the unit used to take quarters and were half the price per load. They are now updated and only accessible with a app on your phone, and $3 a load to wash and another $3 just to dry! We paid a lot of money to stay in this unit for a week, and we can’t say we will choose this condo again. As mentioned, the location is everything and we had a great vacation! Destin is our favorite DESTINation.

The bed for me in this unit is too soft. Back pain from being too soft. The toilet paper holder falls apart each time you pull on toilet paper. Outlet next to bed will not hold a plug. Tried plugging in cell phone charger and would fall right out. The air conditioning is kinda loud. Love the blinds it has!!

The property was very convenient to shops and restaurants etc. it was right on the ocean as advertised. Check in was convenient but the room’s floors had not been properly cleaned. The room had been recently renovated and had laminate floors but they were black with dirt and scratched, especially at the entrance. Our bottoms of our feet got so dirty we got the bottom of the bathtub black with footprints when we showered. I had to mop and clean the tub. And when we went to the laundry room to wash our clothes about mid week, there were only two old rusty washers and dryers and only one washer worked. And the attendant said the owners knew about the other washer not working but apparently the parts have to be ordered from Mars since Covid. So we ended up spending 20.00 and driving to a local laundromat to wash and dry 3 loads of laundry. The staff were very nice and tried to accommodate us, but I would not spend that much money again for a dirty room and no washer/dryer in the room. Plus the beach was full of seaweed which smelled of dead fish til we couldn’t stand to walk on it and no pool to lay out at either. So we were disappointed on our stay.
