Rio River Retreat Lodge is a beautiful 4000 square ft log cabin located on the gold medal waters of the Rio Grand River and SLEEPS 25!!! With 6 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft, 3 1/2 baths spread out on 3 levels, there is plenty of space for everyone without feeling crowded! The Lodge sits on 4 acres, so there are no neighbors right up against you. You will love the privacy of the deck and yard!

Looking for a small wedding/ elopement venue? You’ll love the riverside ceremony location and use of the event barn for your reception. Comes with tables, chairs and basic decor. All potential brides MUST contact the owner, Melissa by phone prior to booking to make sure Rio River Retreat is the perfect fit for your special day. Additional event fee depending on your needs.

The Lodge is the perfect location for families and friends to gather to make memories where the river meets the mountains! We enjoy church youth groups, men's/ women's retreats, marriage retreats, quilt/ craft/ scrapbook retreats, fishing and skiing groups, family reunions and small weddings/ vow renewals.

The large open concept living/ dining/ kitchen area provides plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel at home. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators, double oven, microwave, dishwasher with plenty of cookware, bakeware and dishes for a large group. You are sure to feel right at home during your stay. The dining room is large enough to seat 25 guests comfortably. Additional folding tables are available for large groups or craft/ quilt retreats. The living room has a large comfy sectional and a 65" tv and Octastream device which allows you to watch all of your sports live.

The lodge is fully furnished and newly updated with hand hewn log beds and memory foam mattresses. Enjoy the beautiful view of the river from the main floor and upstairs bedrooms or the tranquility and quietness of the basement bedrooms.
The game room is in the basement with a pool table, 2 foos ball tablesboard games, a smart TV and DVD player for all to enjoy after a long day of hiking, fishing or skiing.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the large deck that overlooks the river or watch the rafters and kayakers float by in the afternoon.
Bed linens and towels are provided for our guests. WIFI is available throughout the lodge.
Hunters——-We are HORSE FRIENDLY!! Board your horse(s) on the same property. A covered stall and large pen are available at a reasonable cost to both guests and non-guests.
Enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities in and around South Fork- fishing, hiking, riding ATV's, biking, exploring jeep trails, golfing, rafting, and kayaking.
