Convenient lakefront location with a boat launch and dock. But house could use deep cleaning …. Cobwebs & spiders in & around every window & doors, Interior could use a coat of paint, tons of mosquitos inside and outside of the house.
Our 4th stay here. This property is perfect for our group and never disappoints. The perfect home base for our fishing trips, centrally located for all our favorite spots. The dock setup works well with our boat, and we picked up a few decent bass right from the dock. The house is well set up and always neat, clean, and comfortable. As always, the owner is very honest, responsive, and helpful. Thanks again for letting us borrow your house!
Great once again! Our 3rd stay at this property. Perfectly located, clean, and comfortable. The deck and waterfront are wonderful. Everything you need for a few days of fishing fun. We caught two 3lb and a 4.5lb bass off the dock, and six 10lb+ catfish - biggest being 14.9lbs. Great time!!
We really love this place-our second stay. The house is great, clean, comfortable. The location is perfectly central to all our favorite fishing spots. The deck and waterfront area is spectacular. The dock accommodated our 21’ Ranger perfectly, and kept her safe through some rough nights. The property manager Cindy is great and quick to respond - thanks for your help and thank you for letting us borrow your house!
This place was amazing great location for our needs it felt like home we walked in and started looking around it was huge it just kept going and going told my friends but wait there’s more. Down to the basement my son couldnt get enough of the game room I’d stay here again for sure thank you Cindy for opening up your beautiful for everyone to enjoy
The house was nice, neighborhood was very quiet, wish we could’ve fished, due to the weather it just wasn’t possible this trip. But definitely next time, thanks Cindy !
We really enjoyed the outdoor space at this property. The fishing dock was great, and the backyard and patio were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. The kayak was also a nice bonus. Communication with Cindy was fast and clear. The lady nextdoor was very nice, too. She gave us good tips about things to do in the area and even brought some very yummy grapes for us to enjoy.
However, we were disappointed with the indoor space (especially the three back bedroom), which could use a good deep cleaning and a bit of an update. The obvious things like towels, bedlinens, and regularly used dishes were clean, but overall the house felt dated and and a bit neglected.
Overall, we had a mixed experience at this property. We loved the outdoor space, but the indoor space was a bit of a letdown.
A little well deserved down time with friends was needed and this turned out to be a great experience.
Pro tip. Don’t drive the curvey roads if your towing something, use alternate route and always travel with heavy duty extension cords if you might need them.
The house fit all of our needs without any incident we weren’t prepared for or an alternative wasn’t available. We could have used some fire wood for the outside fire pit. The bbq grill did not get hot enough to cook steak so we cooked them inside. Dock electrical plug in didn’t work so we used the extension cords we brought. A beautiful location with good access. Pro tip. If you have trouble backing your boat at a public ramp, Do not attempt to use the ramp at the house. There’s a public ramp close by. We stayed here in April while temperatures were cool. We were all completely satisfied with our stay. The only complaint was that we had to leave.
We were a party of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids) and we had a BLAST staying at this house. The pictures absolutely do NOT do it justice! The house is right on Clearlake and it was a dream to be able to walk out the back, down the railing, and onto the dock. The kitchen is more than well-equipped (my sisters are big cooks and they kept marveling at the selection of pots, pans, and utensils to cook with) and the spacious bedrooms were more than adequate for us. During our stay there, most of us opted to lounge outside since there’s a dual-level deck and a separate fire pit/seating area. Seriously, there plenty of areas to hang out in!
The only minor thing to be aware of is that the back bedrooms (which look to be add-ons, or rooms that were converted from an attached garage) get very hot and the AC doesn’t work very well back there. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans but during the hot summer (when temps rise to over 100 degrees), you may want to bring an extra floor fan to give you more cooling power.
Overall, this was a wonderful, spacious house and my family and I would be thrilled to stay here again. :-)
We went for a weekend trip for relaxation in this property at Clearlake. The best part is its wonderful location. You can view the lake just from property itself. There are a few nearby restaurants. There are grocery stores like walmart and safeway within 3-4 miles. We were a group of 9 (7 adults and 2 kids), and there were enough beds and space to accommodate us. There was a game-room which was also very nice. There are a few issues that we faced:
1. Once we booked the property, we got a lease to sign. There are a lot of points which only apply to long term rentals, and not valid for VRBO. I called the owner and she said those conditions don't matter. My recommendation would be to make it simplified to avoid any confusion.
2. All around the property, there are do's and dont's. I understand that those are good to have and let tenant know what to do, but it seemed to us too much all across the property.
3. There are a lot of check out instructions. One of them was to wash and dry the linens/towels, and run the last load before check-out. We have never seen this kind of instructions anywhere in VRBO. This is a lot of overhead to do before check out specially for 2-3 days booking
This home is in a perfect location. My family enjoyed waking up to our morning coffee on the deck, had a blast in the game room and fishing off the private deck. Kitchen was fully equipped with supplies and more. Owner was very responsive with messages. Will definitely continue to come back. 😊

The house was right on the lake. Beautiful views, too bad it rained, but we were comfortable inside.
The pictures of the patio area do not do this place any justice and the view is absolutely beautiful. I brought the family to Clearlake to do some fishing and it was a complete blast. A lot of the properties around the lake have docks that are in shallow water. It is great that there is a gate that keeps you secluded. The place is a little out dates but is extremely cozy and has everything you need. I will be coming back!

Needs a little update.
House could use some updating. Lake is to low to utilize the boat launch. Game room not real comfortable but we were there to fish not play. For the price it was fine.
We had a great time! This property is the perfect place for a nice family gathering. With a great deck and views for relaxing. We went for a weekend fishing trip. The house has a great dock and access to prime fishing spots. We would definitely rent this house again for our yearly bass trip!!
We rented this home for my 49th birthday. I had never been to Clear Lake but have heard about it. When we arrived to this home we were blown away!! This house is so amazing! The peace and serenity that this house has is unique! I love this house and this house will be me and my family get away!! I trully thank the owner for sharing their property with us!! The owner is awesome also might I add.
we had a great time with the family, house is big and good location, sunrise morning is a big plus, kids love the game room, can't wait to be back in summer.
