Beautiful view, enjoyed our stay
The house perfectly suited our needs space-wise, the view was amazing, the beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The spacious great room suited our needs. The EV charger in the garage was a huge advantage.However, we were surprised at the lack of hand soap in the bathrooms, dishwashing liquid etc. in the kitchen for dishes that did not fit in the dishwasher, and only minimal paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), especially for a house that sleeps 12 people. We felt we could not safely use some of the Teflon coated cookware as some of the pots were badly burned or was peeling. This is a definite health hazard.Finally, we were very surprised to find the elevator was out of order. The elevator was advertised on the listing in November when we booked the house but apparently had gone out of order before we arrived. This was a big factor in our renting this house. No one advised us of this issue before our arrival. We came for a quilting retreat and had to carry sewing machines, boxes with quilting projects, ironing boards, etc. up two flights of stairs. This was quite difficult for some of our members (ages 60-70).Overall, we had a wonderful time and would consider renting this property again, as we meet once a year for this retreat.
