Amazing location, home, and hosts!

My family and I stayed here for over a week and enjoyed the beautiful spot on Mark Island as well as the rest of Winnipesaukee. Cindy was a wonderful host and the house is equipped with all the thoughtful touches that make a family island vacation more enjoyable. There is plenty of dock space, wonderful swimming, and great fishing right off the dock for kids and adults. The kids loved the bunkhouse and we were able to spend time together as a family but still have some privacy and space when we wanted. The neighbors are very friendly and there are walking trails through the woods that run over the whole island to explore. Could not recommend it more!

Beautiful Family Compound

We had the pleasure of staying at this cute compound for 3 nights. You can tell the place is loved by its owners because it’s filled with everything you need to play and relax on the lake. The house sits perfectly on a narrow strip of land with lake frontage on both sides! You can enjoy the sunrise on one side with calmer waters and the sunset on the other. Most camps on the lake sit in the shade for one part of the day but this gets sun all day long! This is also a pretty quiet part of the lake with a no wake zone on one side. We brought our paddle board and had fun exploring around Mink island right next door. The interior is also very comfortable with nice furniture and a modern bath house. The bunk house was the cutest with 5 beds, it felt like going to sleep away camp in there! The kitchen is well equipped and there’s a nice bbq grill. The outdoor table is covered so you can eat outdoors even in the rain! We were so thankful to Cindy and her family for sharing her vacation home with us!

Heaven on the lake!

Our family lives in New Hampshire and we are very familiar with the lakes region. This is the perfect island property. Tons of fun stuff to do. Location, location, location! This property is perfectly located we were a short boat ride to everything. Awesome docks with tons of space. My family loved it and hopefully we will be back soon. The owners are wonderful and super easy to work with and are true islanders.

This is a beautiful property, lovingly maintained.

The property has the feel of a lake cottage but with aspects of home (modern bathrooms, washer/dryer) that aren’t normally part of the lake cottage experience, and made our stay more enjoyable. The compound is immaculate and beautifully decorated with care and attention to detail. The owners were very hospitable.....they left us a s’mores kit to enjoy by the fire pit, and also left us a bottle of prosecco because we had just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. The compound set up was perfect for a family with teenagers. The property is beautiful, in a quiet area of the lake that is calm and not heavily trafficked. Appreciated the outdoor equipment such as swim mats, kayaks, and other games that saw lots of use during our vacation. The owners were very responsive. This is a beautiful property and a lovely home. We enjoyed our vacation and this rental very much!

My husband and i have had the dream to own on Lake Winnipesaukee for many years. We are not able to be up there the entire summer so we want others to be able to enjoy it.

Why they chose this property

This property is just full of fabulous views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.

What makes this property unique

There are docks on both sides of the property and if one side is choppy there is a good chance the other side will be calm.
