We spent three weeks at Dodds Edition. The owner was great and responded to us within a few minutes anytime we contacted her. The pictures and do a great job representing the actual listing. The location is absolutely perfect, we rode bikes everywhere we went, To the beach, to dinner, etc. when we arrived two of the bikes were not at the house and Kellie the owner had them replaced the next day. The only negative to this house is that you could hear every single foot step from the upstairs tenant. But, after a while we got used to it.
Had a great stay here! Owner was quick and generous with their communication during our trip. The home is well stocked in the kitchen, and there is plenty of space around the home as a whole. The pool was perfect for our group. Very comfortable and clean. Would stay here again!

DIRTY HOUSE
Was so excited about vacation. All three of our children were able to join us this year. While the rental was representative of the on line photos, what you couldn’t see is that this rental hasn’t been cleaned for sometime. Running the sweeper, mopping the floors and arranging the pillows just right does not mean you or your cleaning crew “cleaned” your rental. Move the dressers in the primary bedroom away from the wall. My wife dropped a piece of jewelry behind the dresser and I couldn’t believe the filth that accumulated. There was even a bottle of water. You have a nice rental but it needs cleaned.
The owner was responsive before and during rental. Convenient location with 15 minute walk to the beach and 15-20 minutes to Rehoboth Ave.
Beds were fairly comfortable. The bed linens and bath towels were good quality and extra towels were provided.
The sunroom was large with plenty of seating. Furniture throughout the house was worn but functional.
The kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, and silverware. All appliances worked. Very nice to have ice and water in the frig.
There was off-street parking for 2-4 spaces depending on the size of your vehicles. If the owner doesn’t have guests in the upstairs unit there is additional parking. You will be renting the bottom floor of an upstairs/downstairs duplex. The pool is reserved for the first floor unit. The grassy area and fire pit is shared by both units. If there are guests upstairs you will hear every footstep and barking dog.
House was not very clean when we arrived. Owner offered to have housekeeper come back during the week.
Pool was cloudy and dirty on arrival on a Sunday. Owner immediately made pool service aware. Pool company worked on it Monday morning and improved it considerably. Pool is a heated, small plunge pool and an enjoyable space.
If you plan to use the sofa bed, note that it is in the sunroom which has no window coverings and is immediately next to the walkway for the upstairs unit. It’s sleeping in a fishbowl.
Convenient To Rehoboth and Dewey and Everything In Between
Home is comfortable and in a great location. Had an issue with pool heater, however, the owner was very responsive and got it fixed promptly. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Carolina St. where we like to go to the beach. Can bike it in about 10.
Our teenagers hung out on the large front porch which had a large TV. We brought an Xbox which they used and kept them off our tv in the main family room.
We had a great week!

Pictures of pool are decieving
House is beautiful. Some things need to be fixed or changed but they are small. I had three problems. The outside patio was partially covered with a cute outdoor table. However, there was a scooter under that part of the patio so you could not enjoy the outside patio. They other part of the patio is covered but not waterproof so when it rained you could not sit outside anywhere. The only other problem was the pool was small not what it looked like in the photos. Also, the pool was supposed to be cleaned on Monday. No one showed up to clean the pool. I got in touch with the owner, she got in touch with the cleaning company. The company told her they were there and cleaned the pool. In the 7 days we were there they NEVER came and cleaned the pool. We cleaned it to the best of our ability. But as far as the house goes, its beautiful.
Wonderful home for our family and dogs to spend a few days over Thanksgiving break. Plenty of space both inside and out. A short walk to beach and town. Great location and very comfortable home.
It was such a charming beach house with a fun dipping pool. The neighborhood was walking distance to town and to the beach. We enjoyed being a little further away from the center of downtown Rehoboth but loved walking into town for yummy dinners and shopping. The beach was less crowded and we could take the dog as well. The property owner was very responsive and friendly! It was perfect for our family of four and furry friend. Thank you!!
Cozy comfortable place to spend quiet week w/family & private pool in Rehoboth Beach
The warm heated pool at this residence is AMAZING.
The host was very attentive to our many, many inquiries.
Check-in will go smoother when key box is replaced.
A little on the shabby chic side. Could use a paint job and some new furniture that pets haven’t chewed on, but that didn’t bother most of us in my diverse party w/a service dog in tow. We found the home to be delightful and plush.
I had some 80 year olds & a multiply-disabled 50 year old who had difficulty with the charming, but rocky pathway from the car to the door. (We found it to be totally rollater & wheelchair inaccessible, but managed.with walking asssitance & carrying mobility.) After going into the pool once, they never returned b/c there was no handle bar leading down the steps & they just didn’t feel comfortable without it. My sibling is also quite large and had difficulty using the tiny master shower, which is quite narrow. My 80 year old parents didn’t care for this aspect either. My parents & sibling were also sensitive to those walking in the apartment above.
These things didn’t bother me in the least, but they may be a concern for those who have multiple “issues” to deal with.
I appreciated the relatively quiet house & neighborhood, proximity to central Rehoboth, and beautiful plants and trees everywhere. Unfortunately, that meant the pool needed to be skimmed a lot. A small pool vacuum might be useful to guests if that’s ever a possibility for the future.
I would book this property again, but would not bring my disabled sibling or elderly parents. I thought it was so nice!

It was a beautiful house with ample room and a pool. Serene atmosphere and quiet neighborhood. Great for family or friends. Ideal location and very relaxing. I love rehoboth!
Perfect beach cottage! LOVED the pool and the many comfy couches and chairs throughout. Lovely neighborhood. Kelley was very responsive. We'd love to go again!
This property is awesome. Lots of comfortable indoor and outdoor space. The heated pool was an added bonus that our party enjoyed immensely. The side patio with the propane fire pit was cozy on the few cool evenings we had. Kelley was super responsive to all our needs. She even offered to give us graham crackers to make s'mores! Thank you Kelley for some really great memories and we appreciated you letting our doggie Lucy come along for the ride.

We had an awesome time staying at this property. Plenty of room, great location and the pool was a huge hit with all of us. The entire vacation was very relaxing and fun!!!

So great we did not even go to the beach. Stayed at the house And enjoyed the outdoor dining and pool area!! One unexpected problem.... The Traffic! Happy we could stay at the house, lounge and cook in. Maybe a visit in the fall would be the best. Kelley thank you for your hospitality.
A lovely comfortable home in a section of Rehoboth that we were unaware of. Very quiet street. Kelley was available to us with any issues. There were none! Can't wait for next year to return.
I absolutely loved this place. The location and setup were perfect. Our favorite part was the mini pool. Kelley was great to work with, over communicative, and on point in if we needed anything. The neighborhood is only .5 mile away from the beach, where we could walk down to take our pups to DB in the mornings and evenings. We are going to miss this place and can't wait to be back.

not sure what's going on with Kelly
we stayed at Kelly's house in September 2020. I chose it because we were late in making plans and she took dogs. House was OK. Pool was under construction. All of the above, not (maybe) her fault.
However, post visit she published photos of our number plates.
This raised several questions for me:
1) why did she take those pictures in the first place--do all VRBO owners take those pictures? or:
2) did she take the pictures because I am black; and
3) why did she publish them?
As far as I know, we, as her tenants, did nothing to upset an owner, and put up with some "not so hot" situations as renters.
all in all I can not vouch for Kelly's house.

Nice space but we won't be returning
Space for 5 people was good. More than that will be tight. Walkable to beach and Rehoboth Ave. The property was not clean (actually, quite dirty) and not well maintained (bed linens and towels well worn). Owner offers bikes, but they are not in good condition. I would rent them in town. Before renting, I recommend obtaining a commitment from the owner that the place will be very clean and the bed linens and towels will be in very good condition.
Kelley is a wonderful host. Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown Rehoboth and the beach. We look forward to returning in the near future.

My dream has always been to have a place to take my family to the beach on a regular basis. I was finally able to buy a home that allows the best of both worlds. My ability to share the experience with others and to have a place that my family can call a home away from home. I hope your family enjoys it as much as I do.
Why they chose this property
This property is in Dodds addition Rehoboth Beach. It is often referred to the forgotten mile between Rehoboth and Dewey. It’s east of route 1 and quiet. The neighbors are wonderful and you are walking and/or biking distance to the beach, downtown Dewey or Rehoboth. It has great convenience, a ton of parking and the feel of an oasis. It’s just fancy enough, it’s clean and new but liveable... so you can truly relax during your time away.
