Thank you for such a great time. My whole family was there and not one person didn't have a good time. Close to everything we wanted to do and the scenery was beautiful. It's like a whole different world. The snow on the trees was beautiful. Highly recommend place to go.

Great house and location
We had a wonderful stay here. My husband was completing his winter 46ers this weekend, so this was a very convenient location for getting to the trailheads at the Adirondack Loj, as well as for walking into town. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the game room was fun. There was about a foot of snow while we were there, and it was a cozy spot to enjoy the storm! The road was not plowed while we were there so if snow is in the forecast, come prepared with shovels. We all have AWD cars so we had no issues. We were able to fit 7 cars but any more than that would be too tight. Would definitely stay here again!

Spacious house
This was a great house for our two families! The 5 bedrooms each felt very private. Air hockey and pop a shot were a hit with the kids (and dads) and it was nice to have two tv areas. River view was nice too!

Great getaway
We loved our stay in this beautiful vacation home. Close to the center of Lake Placid, while having a remote feel next to the small river it overlooks outback. Highly recommend this getaway.

Nice Relaxing Stay
This location provides the ability to relax in privacy. Although the distance to mirror lake may be a half mile as the crow flies, it is a 20 minute walk to the lake swimming area.

Annual Fall Golf Outing
17th year of our annual fall golf outing. We’ve been friends for 20+ years. Attendance is between 6-9 guys each year. Some working still, some retired, some living in NY, some living out of state. One way or another we make it every year and had a great time. The house is great. It’s nice sharing a house instead of hotel rooms.

A lovely getaway within walking distance of all Lake Placid has to offer! The property is clean and spacious, exactly as advertised. Kim, the property manager is a fantastic communicator, and I cannot recommend this rental enough!

A Marvelous Stay
We very much enjoyed the property and it's private stairway to the babbling waters. We appreciated it's close proximity to everything we wanted to do, while still being very private. We were happy to have such a great space to have our family's first post covid reunion. And David and Kim were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

Family ski trip to place placid
This house is great for multiple families to spend a vacation in lake placid. Plenty of room to sleep and has all items in kitchen and bathrooms. Easy drive or walk into downtown lake placid and short 15 min drive to the whiteface mountain. Overall would recommend.

The house was everything that was described and more. It is a beautiful, very clean house with plenty of room. The whole family enjoyed the game room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. Great communication. Will definitely book again.

This is our second time staying in the house, and we will definitely be back again for a 3rd! House is well stocked, clean, and convenient to walk to town. Lots of exploring down at the Brook for our kids. Recently upgraded amenities, and several new appliances. Great house for families or friends to share for a weekend or a week!

The house is amazing! The kitchen is SO well-equipped. Literally anything you could think of, with really nice pots and pans and knives! Made cooking meals for 6 adults and 2 kids super convenient. Also, tons of fun activities in the lower level that kept us entertained even on the rainy days. The beds were really comfortable and everything with check in and check out was easy! Thank you for a great stay!!!

Nice, quiet spot near downtown Lake Placid
Overall, had a nice stay - great backyard and lots of space for people. We had some trouble sleeping on the pretty firm beds and pillows that didn't suit our sleeping style. If possible, bring your own pillows. The backyard is completely wonderful and the host is responsive. Thanks!

Quiet, good location, roomy and well equipped
We were a ski group of 7 adults. The place had more than enough room for us and was quite well equipped (especially the kitchen). The games in the basement were an added fun! I don’t even think the futon couch (which probably folds down into a bed) was mentioned in the write-up. The location is good — quiet and only a 10-15 min walk to downtown. Very enjoyable!

Rustic setting but close to town
We enjoyed our stay here. The check-in process was very easy and the house is very close to town, about a 2 min drive. We did feel the nightly rate was slightly overpriced. While the house was clean inside, it could use some maintenance outside. The house is in a rustic setting covered by trees, so there were spiders and webs everywhere around the house. Opening the doors often would cause spiders to drop from the door frames and then scurry into the house. Also the stairs down to the stream need some repair, the railing is rotten and didn't feel safe or sturdy. There is also no A/C in the house so we were told to leave the sliders open and screens shut to allow for airflow, however this allowed a squirrel to chew through the screen and enter the house. All in all we enjoyed our stay, the house is nice and has a lot of amenities but be prepared for a rustic experience.
