This home offers spectacular views that can't be found anywhere else! Enjoy this updated ranch home (95 feet of lakefront!) directly on Little Glen Lake. Located between Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes 'Dune Climb' and Pierce Stocking Scenic drive and can be accessed via the (paved) Heritage Trail directly across the street.

This 3 bedroom 2 bath home is great for your family. There is easy water access given the gentle slope to the sandy beach, and perfect lake bottom. A large yard too!

Great floor plan with large tiled foyer/entry, a kitchen layout that accommodates not only the chef in the family but the critics too. The house has many updates including stainless steel appliances. Large dining room with a three seasons porch off the back. It has a spacious master suite overlooking the lake, with a king bed and full bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two sets up bunk beds. The outdoor patio has an eight person table and Adirondack chairs will be on shore. Two kayaks as well!! All kitchen, bed, and bath linens provided.

Empire, to the south, has a nice public beach on Lake Michigan with a playground. Glen Arbor, to the North, has great restaurants and shops.

This is such an amazing way to experience all of the beauty that Northern Michigan has to offer.

Overall it met our needs

First, let me say the owner responded and answered my questions quickly. The location is great. The size was more than big enough for the two of us. It is close to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, very close, close to Glen Arbor, location is perfect. Nice that they allow use of their Kayaks, we just didnt have time. I just feel 450.00 a night is high for this property in it's present condition. Things I would suggest, cleaning or replacing the carpets (which she said they are doing soon), putting a TV in the master, replacing the linoleum in the master, there are areas of staining around the shower and toilet. My personal opinion is for the 300 cleaning fee (2 people at two nights) I should not be asked to strip the bed, and take the trash out, but I did so. Things that

Great Glen Lake Stay

This was our second time staying at this VRBO. We love it for our family of five, including grandma and grandpa. The location on beautiful Glen Lake can’t be beat and the proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes is perfect for us. The home is well maintained with a wonderful yard for playing all kinds of games. The hosts are always easy to communicate with.

House on Little Glen Lake

Cute house right on Little Glen Lake. My 5&6 yr old grandsons enjoyed playing in the shallow lake and kyaking. Well equipped kitchen and the kids had plenty of games and puzzles to keep them busy. Fun place to stay!

Wonderful family vacation in this perfectly located home . Lake was spectacular and would be excellent for those with small children. Home was comfortable with many amenities. Hosts were very responsive to questions . Will stay again !

Great Lake house

We enjoyed our visit. The house is very nice and the lake was beautiful, very close to the sleeping bear dunes. Monique was always attentive and responded quickly to my messages. Great host.

Fabulous location

We really enjoyed our stay on Little Glen Lake. The location was perfect: close to sleeping bear dunes and Glen Arbor. The shallow, sandy lake was perfect for our grandchildren to splash around in and it was fun to have the use of two kayaks. The house was fine for our needs. Our only quibble is that, for the price, very few essentials such as toilet paper and condiments were provided.

Great stay in Sleeping Bear Dunes

Great location and proximity to the dunes and being on the water. The 100-plus feet of shallow water was perfect for our less than 2-year old. Kayaks, fire pits, and large yard allowed us to enjoy the property in many ways. Spacious living areas with well appointed kitchen. Our family had a great vacation at this wonderful home in Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Perfect spot, beautiful lake, great location.

Our family with kids under 9 and grandma/grandpa had an awesome time. House is very comfortable. Lake was beautiful and knee high with sandy bottom for nearly 100 yards. Perfect for kids. Host was very responsive. We would definitely come back.

The house located at a great location. Very close to the sleeping bears dune, glen heaven, glen arbor and empire. We have kids age 1/3/4/12 and having a private access to little glen lake is great. The water is very shallow so safe for the kids. The owner gave us very good suggestions on activities and dining options. We really appreciate it. Kids like the bunk beds, and the beach towels are also helpful. The only thing that brings down the rating is that we found mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers upon check in. We texted the owner but didn't get response until the next day. And at that point, there was no way for us to find other accommodation for a group of 7. We had to live with it but definitely were feeling uncomfortable. The last night we slept there, I was woken up by loud scratching and chewing sounds and my husband and I had to 'hunt' for the noise. The owner did say that they had hired a trapper and placed mouse traps inside and outside the house. But then I had to worry about my little ones touching traps.

Great place! Spacious, well-stocked family home. Very clean place. Not a fancy place, just a grear lake house. Communication w Monique was excellent.Glen Lake is shallow and sandy bottomed. I look forward to our next visit!

Great House and Perfect Location!

Our stay on Little Glen Lake was fun and relaxing. The house was clean, owners were vey responsive and the kids loved the beautiful lake. The location to Glen Arbor and Empire was fantastic with just a short drive or nice bike ride. We would definitely stay again at this house.

Perfect Respite!

This was our second stay in this lovely home. It’s perfect for grandma, grandpa, son and daughter-in-law, and 3 young grandchildren. The home is well equipped with everything we need. Working with the owner is easy and always within reach. The beach and water area is so perfect for the little ones. The bike trail across the street is just perfect for all or enjoy a long bike ride. We’ll be back next summer.

Amazing location and relaxing stay!

Home is located directly across the street from Heritage Trail, 1/2 mile from dune climb and in between Empire and Glen Arbor. And of course sits on one of the most beautiful lakes in MI! We enjoyed biking to both towns + trail runs and multiple dune climbs and hikes while there. Can't say enough about the fantastic location. The house itself is very spacious, with a nice patio and huge yard and a small sandy beach along the shore of Little Glen. The lake, as always, was crystal clear with a shallow shoreline - perfect for our little niece to play. In previous stays, we've been on Big Glen and really enjoyed the tranquility of Little Glen this trip. Less boat traffic made for hours of fantastic paddle boarding and kayaking. We will definitely return.

Only needs air conditioning to be perfect.

One of the best equipped kitchens I’ve ever seen. The quality of all small appliances and utensils was top notch. Beds comfortable, furniture comfortable and location convenient to everything. Only thing that would have made the house grade a 100% would be the addition of air conditioning, especially in these days of global warming. We would definitely stay again, but maybe earlier or later in the year.

Family Trip

We use VRBO a lot, and also visit the Glen Arbor/Empire area a lot. Monique and Jeff's place exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless, stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Tons of space inside and outside for our family of 5 plus 2 extras to gather. The large living room, dining room, and sun room were perfect for being together. We cooked all of our meals in the large kitchen which was well stocked/including a bbq grill. The laundry room was an added bonus. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked and biked the trail across the road every single morning, and loved the proximity to the sand dunes. Our adult kids loved the large backyard to play and hang out in. The property is very quiet and private. We honestly spent most of our time in the backyard and near the water. It was cool the first few days, so the firepit was great. We have rented a lot of places and this one is by far my favorite. It was perfect. Close to town and to beautiful hikes, sunsets, and Lake Michigan. Highly recommend.

Nice cottage, great location!

Our family of four (2 adult daughters) stayed at this cottage early in the season due to our schedules this year. The house is older, but well appointed. We loved the large living room and open kitchen layout - the catering kitchenette was also nice to have. The owners have provided lots of dishes and kitchen appliance, even serving pieces which was great for us foodies! The screened in patio in the rear of the home faces the lake, so we had many lovely meals there. We've been to Glen Lake several times, so already new how special it was - but fell in love with all over again during our stay. We enjoyed kayaking (2 nice owns provided with the home!) and had many memorable lakeside bonfires. The location of this home is ideal, the Sleeping Bear Dunes Heritage trail is literally right across the street, so we had many bike rides to the dunes and into Glen Haven and Glen Arbor. Quick drive into town as well as Fish Town, Leelanau, Frankfort, and TC are also close by. Monique was very communicative and helpful. Overall great experience and we would recommend!!
