As you enter the front door, you will be greeted by the calming coastal vibe of a recently renovated and fully updated house situated on three oversized lots in South Venice.

The living, dining, and kitchen areas are designed in an open-concept style that includes a coffee bar and spacious room for your family. The living room features a double reclining couch, two large reclining chairs, and a Smart TV. The large glass door with triple sliding feature provides breathtaking views of the HEATED saltwater pool and lanai area. Our home is pet friendly.

This property features a fenced yard, a backyard oasis with a heated saltwater pool, a screened-in porch, and multiple lounging areas. It is perfect for pets, providing ample space, sun, and shade to run and play. We have parking available for boats, campers, or both!

Bedroom 1 includes a king-size bed (medium-firm mattress), a sofa, TV, desk, printer, and a private bathroom.

We are centrally located in South Venice, just a short drive away from grocery stores, movie theaters, restaurants, downtown, and the beaches (Venice Beach, Manasota Beach, Nokomis Beach, Caspersen Beach). Shamrock Park is less than half a mile away from us.

Relax in the pool or enjoy drinks on the shaded lanai after searching for shark teeth on the beach. We've installed five fans in the lanai for air circulation on hot summer days!

Cook your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy dining indoors or outdoors. An outdoor propane grill is also available. The house is equipped with a front-loading washer and dryer, as well as ceiling fans in every room.

Venice is a great destination for golf lovers, walkers, and bikers. We have 4 adult 10 speed bikes on property, and very close to the Legacy Trail. With a variety of courses, flexible tee times, and the Legacy Trail path nearby, you'll have plenty of options to choose from. There are also parks, museums, theaters, shopping, and many outdoor activities to explore.

This house is located 45 minutes from Sarasota-Bradenton Airport, 1 hour 15 minutes from Tampa International Airport, 2 hours from Disney World and Universal Studios.

Great Property!

We had an amazing time here. The location was convenient to lots of beaches as well as dining. The house was one of the best equipped houses we have stayed in, really does have everything you need. Highly recommend staying here and will likely book again!

Great Getaway

This house was more than expected. The layout for the house was perfect. It was cleaned and stocked with many useful items. Pool was wonderful. Add a great location only minutes from the beach.

May Vacation

Had a great week here. Property was great with lots of included items like pool floats and beach stuff. Location to local beaches was good and lots of close walking/biking trails. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely Perfect

Great location to enjoy all that the area has to offer. The property was very clean and well stocked. The pool was wonderful and a fenced in yard for our poochies was great. Our hosts were very attentive - would definitely return to stay here again!!

Just perfect! Book it now!

We finally found a house that was just perfect for a Florida vacation with our fur baby. This house had everything we needed for the beach, fully fenced in yard for our dog with privacy from neighbors and room to run and play. The pool was perfect with lots of seating. The hosts were easy to communicate with and they texted us a few times to see if we needed anything. They even offered to mail us the bathing suits we left in the dryer. We had a great trip and my advice to you is just book this house.

The perfect vacation house

This property has everything we want in a vacation house. The house, pool and yard are beautiful and spacious and well furnished. It feels like being at your own home, but in a resort setting. This is the second time we have stayed at The Palms and plan to stay again many more times.

Perfect for family getaway

Excellent home and location, the property managers are super friendly and very responsive. The pool area felt like we were at our own little resort, spacious and plenty of seating. The furniture inside was very comfortable, with plenty of space to watch movies and gather. We will definitely consider staying at this house again if we are in the area. Our kids asked if we could stay another week!

It great house.. Extremely clean and well kept property. All that was needed was there.plus some. Great area beaches at every corner. Sunny south Venice

This trip was a great getaway from the northern chill. The location was in the middle of everything and close to the beaches. Highly recommend. Property was ideal for our needs. Owners were great, even stopped by to help with the trash added bonus was the gopher turtle who stopped by to lunch on the backyard grass.

Home away from Home

One of the reasons we choose this home was that it was dog friendly and had a fenced yard. The moment we entered our furry friend felt right at home. It was super clean - you could not tell that it was pet friendly, has everything you will need for two or four legged visitors. The host was quick to respond with recommendations for activities and restaurants. We loved it so much we will definitely be back to any of their properties

Relaxation in Venice

This was our first trip to the Venice area and the house is in a perfect location to enjoy the city -from easy access to a great bike path to local beaches and restaurants. The pool was a definite plus for cooling off and relaxing. Greg and Tracy have thought of everything to help make your stay a seamless entry stocking the house with countless supplies with great attention to every detail to ensure your comfort. Access to the bike path was a huge plus for us as was the pool. Have sadly returned to New England weather and clouds but would definitely stay here again as soon as time allows.

This is a great house to rent. It is conveniently located near beaches, restaurants, grocery stores and bars. We really enjoyed our stay and had a blast. We went to Venice Beach, Sharky's on the Pier, Siesta Key Beach and took the ferry over to hunt for shark teeth. The owners are super nice and very accommodating. The house was very clean and stocked with all the necessities, plus much more. Would definitely recommend this house to others and would definitely come back again. Thanks for sharing your house. Wonderful rental

My family travels to Venice a couple times a year. We really enjoyed staying at this house. The house was very clean and had every thing you need to feel right at home. The only draw back was the weather was chilly and the solar blanket for the pool did not heat the pool up enough for us to comfortably swim. Greg did mention that a heater was going to be installed which will be a great addition to this place . We will definitely want to rent this house again next season especially with the pool heater. We felt right at home and enjoyed our vacation. Making memories!

Perfect place for a family Christmas get together.

Our stay at the Palms was wonderful. The home is spacious enough for 2 families where the kids enjoyed being in the bunk room. We had little ones and a pack and play and 2 high chairs were provided by the owner. Excellent communication with the owner. The home had a plumbing issue and the owner had a plumber come fix the problem the same day. The muffins and oj was a very nice welcome for our stay. The pool was clean warm and the kids had a blast swimming almost everyday. We went to the nearby Shamrock Park and also visited the Mature Center. Both were great with the kids. One of our best meals out was at Mi Pueblo close by. The atmosphere is very lively (good with the kids) and the Christmas lights were phenomenal. This was a geeat home to stay at especially if you need a bit of space and would highly recommend to everyone.

We enjoyed the house completely. It had all the necessities to make us feel at home. The owner’s of the home were super helpful, optimistic, & understanding. We are definitely going back next year. It was hard to leave to say the most. They had everything we needed in the home. I would recommend it 100%. It was family friendly and in a friendly neighborhood. The pool was clean and the yard was kept up. If any isssues came up it was addressed immediately and taken care of. 10/10 experience.

the Palms on Shamrock Dr is a place where you can relax, recreate and also visit Venice

We arrived after dark and were very happy with the accommodations. The front entrance patio and plants are so welcoming. The bedrooms were perfect. We basically lived on the lanai enjoying conversations and meals in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. The saltwater pool was refreshing, a perfect temperature, and left our skin feeling soft. In addition, there was a separate spigot at the kitchen sink for drinking water that had been filtered. A coffee bar was fully stocked with with both caffeinated and decaf drinks in addition to coffee mate creamer. All of the utensils, pots and pans, and kitchen utilities (blender) were there and in good condition. In addition, I used one of the bikes. I just had to pump up tires with the provided pump.. It was in good condition, and I was able to ride 22 miles one day and 16 miles along the legacy rails-to-trail. The owners had supplied a map in the welcome book! Downtown Venice is within a couple of miles with other shopping centers close by with plenty of places to eat. There was an intercoastal waterway access thru a park a little over a mile away. We had a great stay and had a good experience with owners as well. This was two weeks after Hurricane Milton, so this location was in amazingly great shape despite damage in the vicinity. We would absolutely recommend this place with any reservations.

Family Thanksgiving

This house is very clean and very well stocked. We chose this house because of the double oven, and we were happy to find the kitchen had every pan/pot serving dish we needed to put together a Thanksgiving meal for eight people. The house is VERY dog friendly. The laundry room has a doggie door with access to the back yard (we had to crawl through the door to show the dog how it worked) LOL. For our trip to the beach there were beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach bags and towels available and In the evenings we sat outside by the beautiful pool and played games. Checking in and out was super smooth and simple. Thank you Greg and Tracy for all your thoughtful extra touches that truly made our thanksgiving a memorable one!

Wow! Incredible Vacation!

We returned last night from our stay at The Palms on Shamrock. This home was PERFECT for our family. Greg and Tracy have gone above and beyond to provide everything needed for a great vacation! It was clean, comfortable, and even nicer than the pictures. The open concept was really fun for hanging out as a family watching movies, playing games, reading, etc. Bedrooms were quiet and beds comfortable. We loved the pool area and ate all of our meals outside on the covered patio. Having the beach supplies (umbrellas, canopy tent, boogie boards, beach bags, loads of beach towels, etc) was a huge treat! The home is close to everything... the beach, tennis courts, restaurants, Nokomis Grove orange ice cream (a must), and Walmart. Yet it was secluded and the trees and landscaping made us feel as though we were in our own personal resort. I am hopeful we will be able to return someday!

Perfect home/ perfect hosts

First let me say that Greg and Tracy are tops. They communicate nearly instantly, go above and beyond to think of what their guests might need/want, and their kindness and thoughtfulness is refreshing. It is easy to tell that they are loving people. As for the home, you'll find everything you'll need here. The pool is heated, the kitchen is large, and they even had our favorite family game: Sequence. :) As for the location, the home was in just the right spot. We found several hundred shark teeth on the beach and even found some that were quite large. Thank you for letting us stay here! Greg and Tracy, may the Lord bless you for your kindness. The Gores :)

Wonderful home away from home!

We had a great experience from start to finish renting from Greg and Tracy. I broke my ankle before our intended vacation and they were super accommodating in helping us move weeks so I could come when I was fully recovered. Their communication was excellent throughout the process. When we were finally able to come on our vacation, we were so happy to walk into a clean, well kept and well stocked house! We loved our week here. The location can’t be beat- just several minutes to some of our favorite beaches- Casperson, Manasota Key, Nokomis, the Jetty’s. Quick bike ride to Shamrock Park where you can get on the Legacy Bike trail. When we came back from beaching it, we loved relaxing by the pool. The outdoor space in the house is so nice. The kids loved their daily pool parties. We had a wonderful stay here. The house has everything you need and more. Highly recommend renting from Greg and Tracy!

Amazing home & hosts!

One of the reasons we chose this home was that it was close to friends, dog friendly and had a fenced yard, even though we ended up not bringing our pups. From the first email to a wonderful card, muffins, and orange juice when we arrived, this trip was perfect. This home has everything you need and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need and extras you didn’t know you needed. The filtered drinking water was a blessing. The pool and home are spotless. It is a true home away from home. The first day we rented chairs and umbrellas on the beach, spending crazy money. After that, between the umbrella we brought and the chairs and umbrellas in the garage, we set up our own space on the beaches. From walking on Englewood beach, to sunsets at Venice beach, and even short drives to Siesta Key and Clearwater, we were so happy this home was convenient to everything. This home and the hosts are the best! I would not hesitate to rent this property again. Thanks for everything!!!!!

Why they chose this property

After renting for years in Venice, we decided to buy our own vacation home and fix everything we didn't like at other rentals. We wanted a private place with COMFORTABLE beds, couches, oversized recliners, etc. We wanted fast internet and an open floor plan. We wanted it to be in South Venice (centrally located and close to everything), and we wanted it to look and feel like a Florida vacation home. Most of our guests return year after year!
