FOOD, DRINK & ADVENTURE - - Hiking, mountain biking, bike, walk and discover the breathtaking Tucson Loop shared use path, which winds through the picturesque unincorporated Pima County, charming Marana, delightful Oro Valley, vibrant Tucson, and eclectic South Tucson. There are more great restaurants than we can list here, check out the tucsonfoodie website for the history of how Tucson was awarded the first UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy in the U.S. back in 2015 and has continued to thrive ever since “Imagine the city’s food heritage as a vibrant canvas painted with the hues of indigenous ingredients, the brushstrokes of Spanish colonial traditions, the spice of Mexican influences, and more layers of flavors added by immigrant communities. In addition to being a dynamic work of culinary art, it’s a gastronomic journey that unfolds like a story, each chapter contributing to the diversity that sets Tucson’s food scene apart.” tucsonfoodie article 2023
