About this property

Mountain Cabin with long range views, privacy, and more.

*See Airbnb listing for 5 star reviews*

Cabin in the woods with amazing mountain views. Situated on 2.5 acres and surrounded on 3 sides with 30 additional acres; peace and privacy.

Skiing, Snowboarding:
- 25 minute drive to Loon Mountain
- 25 minute drive to Waterville Valley (discounted tickets available).

The space

Very welcoming cabin with a large entertainment space upstairs (kitchen, dining room, living room, fireplace) and 3 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms downstairs.

Imagine warming up by the fireplace after a day skiing, hiking, or simply taking in the peace and quiet of this mountain side retreat.

WINTER BONUS: 1 mile from the cabin there is a full ski lodge with weekend live music, food, on tap beers, and $20 lift ticket for day or night skiing!

Books, board games, cards etc are all provided to really disconnect from the hustle of the city to reconnect with friends & family.

Guest access

While our home can house up to 6 people, this comes with 3 one-person passes to the community center that has pools, sauna, jacuzzi , game room, workout gym, etc.

You can purchase additional passes directly at the center for an additional cost.

Interaction with guests

We do not live locally but we are available to answer any questions and are available by phone and email.

Other things to note

Winter- the road to the house has steep portions which can be tough during inclement weather. The roads are well maintained with regular plowing and sand. Cars with snow tires or all-wheel drive will have no issues.

For others we’ve had people park at the community center (super easy to get to for those with cars that struggle in the snow) and then the most suited car drives people the few blocks up the hill to the house.

There is enough parking for 2 cars in the driveway.

Family getaway

Loved the property. Very clean, plenty of room, comfortable sleeping arrangements. Right on the side of the mountain, beautiful view and still close to fun summer activities for the kids. We will be booking for next summer.

Great ski lodge for small family or group

This ski house has everything you'd need. It's in a wonderful location (Waterville Estates). The bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the same floor and kitchen living space is open, feels spacious. Convenient location to the ski areas. Owner has excellent communication and the check in / out process was a breeze.

Winter ski vacation Waterville

Very nice little cabin. Pretty views of mountains. Cabin easily fit our family (mom and dad in master, and each college aged child in his/her own bedroom.) One bathroom is in the master and the other is shared by the two other bedrooms (both have tub/shower). Tip to winter renters: - Buy your Waterville Valley Ski Lift Tickets (cash or check) from the Waterville Estates Rec Center desk (this cabin is a member of the Estates). You'll save $32 per lift ticket! - Pond ice skating at the rec center is not all that nice (ice is very bumpy, almost unskatable). Traditional indoor ice rinks are nearby. - Rent skis at "Exit 28 Ski Rentals" (near Ski Fanatics, but cheaper and they had inventory when Fanatics was out)

I am a midwestern transplant to New England and fell in love with the White Mountains from the first year I arrived. From hiking to boating it's just a great excuse to get away from the city and enjoy nature.

Why they chose this property

My wife's father passed after spending 30 yrs working in the same manufacturing plant. He never got the chance to hit his retirement nor spend much time with our newly born daughter (his first Grand Daughter). As a way for our daughter to experience her grandpa after his passing we purchased a cabin in the mountains that we knew he would have loved. This way our daughter can create experiences in the White Mountains knowing that her Grandpa is there with her. We have grown to call the place Bob's Landing for Grandpa Bob.

What makes this property unique

Surrounded by undeveloped 30 acre forest but still close to get to all the best places in the White Mountains. A truly unique spot.
