Beautiful vacation log cabin on a horse trail that leads into the Big South Fork National Park in Jamestown, TN. Trails End Cabin at Big South is located within Spruce Creek Acres. Just a mile away from the entrance to Big South Fork National Park where you can enjoy hundreds of miles of trails within the 123,000-acre national park.

Very private 3BR/2BA cabin, fully furnished.Cabin has a washer and dryer, and kitchen is fully furnished with dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, pots, pans, dishware, utensils, silverware, oven, refrigerator, ice maker, stove, and toaster. All linens & towels are furnished. Start up toilet paper & paper towels provided.There are three bedrooms two have a queen bed & the other one has two twin beds.
Cabin has a stone, wood-burning fireplace in the living room.
The downstairs bathroom has a whirlpool tub, shower, sink & toilet. The upstairs bathroom has shower, sink & toilet.
WiFi and multi-TV cable are included.

4 Covered stalls and 2 corrals on premise. Gas grill provided & large spacious porch.

Hiking trails, mountain bike trails, beautiful overlooks, natural bridges, mountain streams, waterfalls & horseback riding. Canoeing and kayaking available in the Big South Fork River area. Picket State Park is just 5 miles down the road. Enjoy canoeing, fishing, hiking and don't forget to cross the swinging bridge. Visit Highland Manor Winery the oldest Tennessee Winery. All of these are within 20 minutes or less driving time from the cabin. Brimstone Recreation Area is 44 minutes from the cabin.

Guests are responsible for bringing shavings and water buckets for horse stalls, and agree to leave all stalls cleaned and put down new shavings before checking out. Failure to do so will forfeit your deposit.

At check out all dishes need to be washed and put away. The beds need to be stripped; sheets put in the downstairs bath tub. Lay comforters on beds.
All trash needs to be put in the outside trash can provided. Please secure the lid. Remember we have bears in the area.
When you arrive all stalls will have been cleaned and bedded with shavings. Upon leaving all stalls need to be cleaned and re bedded with shavings.

Perfect Spring Break getaway

Convenient location to the park and not far from town. It rained/snowed one day and there was plenty to do at the cabin to keep everyone entertained. We will definitely return!

This was my second time staying at the trails end cabin and I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for my annual girls trip. The cabin is clean and spacious and has great trail access all around.

Great place to rest, relax and hike

Property was great! 2 bathrooms is always good for 2 couples. Loved the seclusion, porch and firepit. Also, proximity to Pickett St Park and Big South Fork.

Fantastic Cabin

We stayed here for the No Business 100 which begins and ends in Pickett State Park. The location is perfect and the cabin is just as listed. A great property. Highly recommended!

The cabin in the woods

The location of this cabin is just beautiful and a very private setting. The kitchen was well equipped and overall it was very clean. We felt the towels could use some updating but we were happy with the cabin.

Big South Fork

This was a very private location. We didn't get to take our horses but enjoyed hiking to see Twin Arches in Pickett State Park. Hoping one day to go back and do more hiking and some horseback riding.

Great Location to Pickett State Park & Bandy Creek Campground.

Wonderful cabin & enjoyed the peaceful fire pit. We traveled with a group of friends to explore some trails at Pickett State Park. Owner had great communication. Wish they would consider pets. We missed our friend's trail dog on this trip.

Cabin in the woods

Had a lovely stay at this cabin in the woods! Enjoyed the popcorn left out for us to pop :) The house was spacious for 4 adults and 2 kids and the fireplace was very cozy! The coffee pot was not usable due to some issues but the owner has said that she will be taking care of that for her next guests. Loved my stay!

My family enjoyed the neighborhood where the house was located. The home was clean but we found it a bit unusual that we needed to probably not use the upstairs shower due to the dehumidifier and the downstairs toilet had continuous issues flushing and filling back up. Several remote controls had dead batteries as did the smoke detector. . That wasn’t a big deal as we just changed out the batteries. We left the smoke detector on the counter so someone would see that it needed to be replaced. We enjoyed how peaceful, private, and clean it was. We appreciate the opportunity to stay in your home.

Very nice

Well appointed cabin. Well take care of. Excellent. TV has hundreds of channels on satellite. Internet 50 megs down 25 up. For those that don't know, that's very good, especially for a cabin in such a rural area. Big South fork park less than 10 minutes from the cabin. I do star photos and Big South fork is a great place to shoot. This was a very nice rental and weekend.

Incredible experience

We had a great time though the weather was not as cooperative as we would have liked. The home was incredible to stay and very comfortable. We had no issues with anything related to our stay. Will be coming back down in the spring and will definitely rent here again.

Trails End Cabin is wonderful!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this beautiful cabin. It makes you feel like your right at home. It is always clean, the beds are comfortable and all the amenities of home.

Why they chose this property

We absolutely love this area. It's the perfect place to have your horses right there where you can see them, saddle up and just ride off directly from the cabin to various trails within the park. Or if you choose to trailer just a short piece there are so many options of gorgeous trials to explore either by horseback or hiking. To us this was the ideal place for family vacations, getaways for couples & get together with friends.

What makes this property unique

We love the cozy warmth of the beautiful fireplace in the wintertime. The swing on the front porch in the early mornings or late afternoons. The very convenience of riding from the cabin and being able to view our horses from the porch. The very private, peaceful & serene location. This just spoke volumes to us.
