Reposant et authentique

Charmante location proche des alignements de Carnac, très calme et très bien tenue. De très belles plages à proximité, logement proche des commerces et du centre bourg de Carnac. Disponibilité et très bon accueil de la part des propriétaires. locataires.

Birthday treat. Ruined.

Poor communication prior to visit, on arrival there was no one there and no way to access property though electric gate. Had to phone owner to gain access by leaning over gate to operate the gate switch. ,( Good job i am tall ). Initial inspection found a layer of grease on kettle and coffee machine, washing up brush was old and black around the bristle base and scouring pad was old and worn. Layer of dust under the 2 chairs and under the bed (which had to be accessed by shimmying along bent double as the pitched roof was low). Nowhere to hang clothes. A washing machine behind a locked door was going twice on two evenings during our stay, with a spin cycle which when ended emitted a beeping noise. This was followed by the smell of damp washing for most of the week's stay. No information on how to operate any of the electric items (i.e. no indication of the microwave's wattage). No emergency services contact details. Ants in the bathroom. A wet floor in bathroom due to the cistern being cracked (looked like it had been like it for ages). The shower doors were very grubby. Kitchen cupboard doors were a poor fit. Lack of table mats and coasters. On departure, whoever was in the house didn't answer the door so we could hand in the key. Some of the patio decking was loose and rotten. Suffice to say it was much cleaner when we left than when we arrived. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, and the gîte is very close to the alignements

Super week-end

Très bon séjour, accueil très agréable, gîte tres sympa. De belles balades, cadre merveilleux. J'y retournerai avec plaisir, un week end c'est beaucoup trop court.

Accueil très sympathique. Maison agréable calme. Proche des sites mégalithes de belles balades a faire a pied. Carnac très jolie marché le dimanche matin. Presqu'île de Quiberon très jolie. La côte sauvage magnifique

We had a lovely stay! The house was pretty smalle and we missed a light outside. Very gentle people

Small but Perfectly Formed!

You will receive the warmest of French welcomes at this lovely property which is literally a stone's throw from the famous Stones. Everything had been thought of in equipping the property, it was very clean, we couldn't fault anything! The owners were very friendly and had exactly the right level of attentiveness - considering the property is in their garden, we did not feel overlooked. The little patio and the view of their beautiful garden gave a lovely private spot to sit and eat or relax with a glass of wine. This is an ideal place for a couple either to relax or partake of the many activities available in the area. Despite being so close to a major tourist attraction there is no through traffic in the tiny village and no associated noise - very peaceful place, but only 10 mins walk to supermarket and 15 mins to town. Carnac Plage is busier, beaches are great. A good cycling and walking area too. Only half an hour drive to Vannes if you want a big city. Lots of markets to visit too.

Bienvenue au Menec

Ne vous fiez pas aux 25 m2 annoncés, ils ne comprennent pas la chambre en mezzanine, sous pente ( les grands, attention à votre tête). Le logement est confortable pour deux personnes et s'il fait beau (en général, en Bretagne) vous pourrez profiter d'une petite terrasse. L'accueil est très familial, le jardin est joli, le hameau est calme et le centre ville à 15 minutes à pied. Si vous aimez la Bretagne en couple ... n'hésitez pas.
