This was such a perfect little place for my husband and I to spend a couple days exploring Mt. Rainier National Park. Very close to the park and a wonderful bed to rest our weary hiking bones.

Perfect base camp for Mt Rainier!

This property is clean (and I’m picky!), and exactly as described. Super short drive to the park. The deer are friendly and the babbling brook behind the cabin is relaxing. We’ll stay here every time we go to Mt Rainier.

Great location on a lovely creek. Very convenient to Mt. Rainier National Park!

This cabin on lovely Big Creek was in a great location to Mt. Rainier National Park. We loved having the deer greet us when we pulled into the driveway. I even saw two fawns crossing the creek! It is a mixed neighborhood, but that is to be expected in an area like this. The cabin was very clean and nice, and we always felt safe. My only suggestion (for people of my age, but just a general safety feature) would be to add a raised area to grasp on the staircase rail going to the loft, and a grab bar in the shower. We really enjoyed our stay at this Paradise creek-front cabin!

Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin in the woods. We loved the sound of the creek right outside our door. We made friends with the neighborhood deer. My only suggestion is to add a small hot tub for peak outdoor enjoyment. I also would like to note that the bedroom on the loft gets quite hot at night, so be prepared for that. There is a box fan, which does help somewhat. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts.

Cabin in Paradise

We stayed here while running a half marathon near Mt. Rainier and it didn’t disappoint. Wonderful location and hospitality. Listening to the creek and enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony was a perfect ending to a great weekend. Perfect location for visiting the national park

Mr. RAINER VISIT

My wife and I stayed at the cabin while visiting Mt. Rainer. The location is close to the entrance of the park which is nice. The neighborhood is a mixed bag of properties which is typical of the area. The cabin is cute and accommodating but the most important aspect of overnight travel to me is my quality of sleep. The bed is lacking and the pillows are very uncomfortable which would be required for a higher rating. It is a cute place for two people and the property is in good condition. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need including seasoning and some olive oil we used for cooking some veggies. We stayed two nights there on west coast trip that spanned 30 days and 13 different lodging accommodations of which 6 were vrbo rentals.

Amazing Stay!

We were so surprised by this really cute cabin with a river running behind it. It was really peaceful listening to the sound of the running water. The cabin was bigger than we expected especially the loft. We had no issues with temperature even at night. There was everything we could possibly need and the cabin was very clean. We loved how close it was to Mt Rainier National Park. Overall we had an amazing stay. I would 100% recommend this property.

Exploring Mt. Ranier National Park

Everything was lovely_cabin itself, proximity to the park, local businesses etc. The community itself (location of cabin) was rather run down. That was the only drawback. It was quiet and peaceful and creek was nice.

Thank you so much for choosing our cabin for your mountain getaway!! A little bit about us -- Josh is a firefighter and professional mountain climbing guide with three summits of Mt. Everest, multiple others in South America, Antarctica and 100+ summits of Mt. Rainier! Marisha is an avid runner, hiker and kayaker. She has been to the top of Mt. Rainier 4 times, and counting!

Why they chose this property

Spending time outdoors is something incredibly important to us, as is this cabin. It is something we had searched for a long time, and when we found it -- it just felt meant to be. We happily welcome you to our little piece of Paradise.

What makes this property unique

Everything we had been searching for in a cabin made our choice ideal. The proximity to Mt. Rainier and its vast National Park, the small town atmosphere, and the feeling you get when being in the woods. Nothing is more serene and peaceful than hearing the sounds of Big Creek, seeing the view of Osborn Mountain from the back deck, and watching the snow fall.
