About this property

Bright and welcoming guest suite

Bright and welcoming one bedroom guest suite. Our one bedroom, one bath guest suite is attached to the west side of our home. Just a few miles from Sloan Park, home of the Cubs spring training. As well as Hohokam Park, home of the A's spring training. Plenty of parking right outside your private entrance.

The kitchen is fully stocked for those that prefer to eat in. Certain times of the year you will find fresh squeezed orange juice from the nine Valencia orange trees on our property.

There are no shared living spaces but the guest suite is part to our home. The guest suite is equipped with it's own small laundry room and it's own private bathroom.

Please do not inquire about leasing our guest suite for long term. We regularly use our guest suite for family so the longest we will rent is no more than 4 weeks. Thank you kindly.

We do have dogs in our unit so if you would like to use the pool just let us know so that we may make sure they are not outside. We just don't want them to try to get out the gate. Always be sure to close the gate after using the pool. Pool is not heated.

Our guest suite accommodates 3 people comfortably. If we find that there are more than 3 people staying in our guest suite your reservation will be canceled and you will be asked to leave. Sneaking extra guests in is against our rules and voids your contract with us.

No smoking or vaping in the unit. Quiet times 10pm - 7am. Check-in is at 3pm. If you are arriving early I will try to accommodate you. Please understand that I regularly have back to back reservations and early access is not always possible. Check-out is at 12pm. If communicated early I will do my best to accommodate you if you need a late check-out. As stated before, I regularly have back to back reservations so this needs to be communicated early and may not be an option.

Our guest house is not set up with wheel chair access. There are two steps down into the apartment.
The unit is attached to our home. There are living spaces directly above the unit. Some sound transference does happen.
Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. We ask that if you have guests while staying with us that you are respectful of these hours.

Excellent stay

Roomy place for two on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood. Every thing was very clean and relatively new. No surprises. The fresh squeezed OJ the host made for us was a nice touch. So was the birthday card the host gave my wife. I would stay here again. Clearly superior to a hotel.

Awesome 5 night stay in Mesa

My wife and I couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay. First of all, Elisha and Chuck were the most gracious and welcoming hosts. From the fresh squeezed orange juice to the dozen eggs from their own backyard chickens, they made us feel right at home. They also made available the luxury for us to charge our Tesla in the side driveway. Their beautiful, safe and quiet neighborhood was the perfect place for our morning walks. You will not be disappointed by staying in this gem that is close to retail stores and all the main roads. Better than any hotel for sure!!

Great Stay

We stayed here for a week and the owners were kind and friendly (orange juice they gave us was amazing!) The rental was spacious enough for the two of us, we had access to the pool as needed, and it was in a nice location. Would recommend and stay again!

Very pleasant stay

We stayed a month and had a wonderful experience. Our host welcomed us with fresh squeezed orange juice. She also gave us some fresh fruit and veggies from her garden. Parking was great! Off the street. We also had a security light and code for our door. The neighborhood felt very safe. We took a morning walk almost every day. Our host also gave us information on places to visit and history of the Mesa area. We were a little disappointed that it was a little too cold to swim, so next time we will go to Arizona in February or later. The apartment was very well stocked, so we cooked and ate at least one meal a day during our stay. We also had cleaning supplies to clean up after ourselves. We are happy to recommend this apartment to others.

A perfect stay!

This was a wonderful home base for our visit to the Valley. The suite is large and clean, has a great kitchen and a comfortable bed, and it's all within a quiet neighborhood. Loved how easy it was to come and go, and the parking was super easy. The fresh orange juice was a delightful bonus. We'll definitely stay again the next time we're in Mesa!

Mesa vaca

We had a wonderful time in Mesa and the VRBO property was awesome! It was close to everything. Went to the Cubs game twice and the Barleens show which was very entertaining!

The apartment was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities that you need and more. We felt more than welcome especially being provided with a full container of fresh squeezed orange juice from the orange trees on their property. So delicious! A charming apartment attached to a family home in a residential neighborhood. Car is required but convenient to all freeways in area. Hostess was a good communicator and very helpful. A note that pool and orange trees are behind a fence for family privacy. And they have chickens! Would look for this listing if back in area.

Perfect weekend, cute place!

The best apartment you could want . . .

I drove from Minnesota to do some hiking and biking. If I could have picked this as an apartment before or after owning a home, this would be it. It was the perfect space. There is a lovely kitchen and living area, a spacious bathroom with a large shower, and a large and quiet bedroom. Everything was nicely cleaned and the decor, the personalized note and the gift of freshly squeezed orange juice gave the place the feeling that magic elves prepared it just for you. Private entrance and private parking made everything feel like a stand-alone property. Hopefully there will be some time to rent next year when my wife and I begin to scout our winter home. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!
