This cabin really WAS tiny, but it was just right for 2 of us! Full kitchen and bath, nice outdoor patio, and very quiet overnight. We had a comfortable, relaxing stay here and would gladly do it again!
This property was just as described. Little cabin with a kitchen. We arrived right at the end of the snow season and the yard was perfect for my dog to run in the snow. An easy drive into town or a doable walk.
My boyfriend and I celebrated 2 years together and had the most wonderful stay! There were pots, pans, spices and soaps, washcloths, towels and an adorable electric fireplace. Snow was still around but the low was mid 30s. We did a hike, checked out some delicious local food, shopped, and enjoyed some Netflix inside along with some cozy blankets. Thank you!

The tiny cabin was a nice little place to escape to, just me and my dog. Very quiet and peaceful even with the other cabins occupied I rarely was aware of anyone around. Bed is comfy, plenty of towels, extra pillows, good television options. Kitchen is okay, cooking wasn’t on my things to do list so it didn’t matter. Had a few ants, but a little spray took care of that. When I did have to haul out the laptop the internet connection was great. I would stay here again for sure.

This was a cozy tiny cabin in the woods. It was perfect for my needs. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. The one thing missing was coffee filters but that is a minor detail. I would return in a heart beat. The setting was beautiful with space to sit under the trees.
The cabin was clean and well maintained. Our stay was very pleasant and felt secluded and cozy. The only ( minor) problems were stuck sliding doors, no dvd player, and we were unable to make the shower work. We will happily stay here again.

Nice and cozy. No ac unit but it was bearable with fans that host left for us.
The weather was unexpectedly hot - the host had already put an extra fan in the cabin and had it running when I arrived. Very thoughtful. And I appreciated the earth-friendly products in the cabin.
Great location, cute studio and house comes with everything you need for a nice weekend getaway.
Overall, we had a really good time and however there was a lot of aunts in the kitchen and the floor. Also, some of the light bulbs were missing and the bed was uncomfortable as it dips in the middle and was hard on our backs. The overall cabin was super cute, the location was great and the hosts were excellent, I would just say this place needs a little more TLC in the small details and I would have given it a 5. We had a great time.
This place is a great getaway if someone is looking just to get out into the outdoors. The cabin is very quaint, really all one needs. I would say it’s worth the price.
For two people, it was very comfortable. We cooked all our meals there. There were dishes, pots, pans, spices, etc.; large refrigerator and microwave. Very limited TV options (no standard channels). Very close to town and hiking trails.
Had the best experience at this cozy cabin, a perfect home base to explore Idyllwild. Well stocked with everything you’d need for a weekend getaway. Loved having breakfast and coffee in the front patio area and sleeping in the super comfy bed. Great value, would recommend this quaint spot to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away.
Great experience! Super cute!! The cabin was tiny, but perfect for a weekend getaway with my boyfriend. It had everything you need to relax comfortably & cook meals. Mark was easy to reach if needed & made check in/out extremely easy. The bed is a pillow top mattress so on the softer side.

About the host

While living in Palm Springs, Idyllwild was a birthday trip for me in 2013. I fell in love with this little town. I ended up buying a cabin right away. I moved back to LA in 2015, but after 4 years I decided to make this magical place my home permanently. It's like living in paradise!
Why they chose this property
It's like stepping back in time to the 1930's. Vintage Idyllwild for sure. You just don't find them like this anymore.
What makes this property unique
So close to town you can walk. And a short drive to the hiking trails.
