We were charged "the going rate" for the area, but many amenities were missing. Staff appeared to have no training in the hospitality industry, and none of them "went the extra mile" for anything. Many didn't speak English, or feigned "No English" so they didn't have to accommodate (us). Photos of location on VRBO are NOT indicative of what you see when you arrive, and are very misleading. Pool chairs are dilapidated, in need of repair and the cushions are grossly stained. Pool towels are not large and have seen their better days. The place was run down over time, they appear to be renovating, but they're "not quite there yet". Wouldn't return to stay there.
We had a terrible experience, an elevator did not work, there were not enough towels in the room, the carpet was dirty and old, cockroaches in the living room and in the hall of the hotel, the room felt dirty, the photos listed do not show the real apartment, very expensive service per night, I will definitely not return to that place.
The suite was a great size and very comfortable. The check in process was great and Carissa was super sweet. Everything was great except for one thing which was very disturbing. Our room was on the side of the hotel and the balcony faced directly to another building so the view was not good however the really bad thing was that someone on from the hotel on our side of the building blasted music from 12 am - 2 am in the morning and I did not sleep because of it.
Was a little wait to get checked in. No biggie except we was beat from the drive down and was wanting to get in room. It was worth the wait. The room was cleaned very well and had the cleanest smell! The location was far enough from the traffic of south beach but close enough to walk down if wanted to ocean drive. Will be back next year!

Not a fancy hotel but great place for a group to stay
There were 10 of us in 2 condo's. The view we had was over the bay but it was still very nice. The building is older but they seem to be keeping it up daily. The convenience of having the kitchens is nice. We ended up ordering in 2 nights of the 3 and it was great fun. Don't expect a fancy hotel, as this is on the older side but it has a lovely pool area and beach access with lots of chairs and beach chairs. We'd prefer it to be more central, closer to SB but we had a van so we just drove places.
The rooms were great! Helpful staff, beautiful view, excellent accommodations. Would definitely stay here again!

Short Stay
I recently stayed at this location for a bachelorette weekend. We originally booked this as one big suite that could fit 8 girls. When we checked in we then found out that it wasn't one big suite but rather 2 suites. This was disappointing as we could have booked another location that would have fit us all together.
Overall, the location wasn't bad. The rooms were clean and fine to stay in for a weekend. The mattress was basically made of plastic and wasn't comfortable but was doable for just 2 nights. This location was a mix of a hotel and a condo. We had the front desk and people to help down by the pool but everything in your suite you had to do on your own. There is a convenience store inside but is extremely overpriced. Even to rent an umbrella and chair on the beach it was $15 a piece per person.
If you plan on being near the heart of Miami this place isn't that close. Every uber/lyft ride we took was about a 25 minute drive to where many of the restaurants, stores, bars are.

A nice stay that is close to, but not in, the craziness of South Miami Beach
When I saw some of the reviews, I was a little worried but decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. Yes, the place had a few minor problems, but for the price, it was a great find. The first day, we got off the cruise ship very early, and they let us come and use the facilities until we could check in. Everyone during our stay at the front desk was nice and answered all our questions. There is a nice breakfast/lunch restaurant on-site...I'm not sure why others whined that they didn't serve dinner. There is also a nice little store with EVERYTHING you need open until 10 p.m. I think the ones who wrote the bad reviews were either too lazy to cook, didn't know how to order take-out, or didn't want to spend the money on an Uber to go out to dinner. May condo units don't have this on-site, so it was a big plus for me...and the burgers are great. There is a laundry facility on the floor....that was nice (you need to buy a card from a machine by the service elevator...don't get them at the front desk). I had no issues finding parking, but it does cost you some money...but I think it would anywhere. The pool and beach were nice, and they give you towels and beach chairs. If you want a HOTEL experience, go to a hotel. This is a condo unit, and I think some reviewers have unrealistic expectations. By biggest complaint is the beds and pillows. The beds are hard...but some people like them that way, I guess., and I got use to that. The pillows were awful, however. They are like trying to sleep with flat rocks. If you are driving, bring your own....but it is something easy for the owner to fix. Overall, I thought the great find and a good place for my family of 8.

12 people in 2 suites, good stay
We got two apartments for 12 people. Each of them had two room. One room with two queen beds and another one with one queen bed. 2 bathrooms in each apartment. It was very comfortable as our plan was to be in the beach most of the time and go out at nights. There is only one restaurant on the premises and it closes at 3pm, so it was very hard to find dinning options nearby. There is also not a grocery store nearby but there is a mini market with essentials open from 10am to 10pm. Bring your own shampoo/soap/conditioner as what they provide is not nice quality. They will give you clean towels and sheets but will not make the bed or clean for you. It is a weird hybrid between a hotel and an apartment rental. They will also provide you with 3 beach chairs per apartment. Otherwise a chair will be $15 per day and an umbrella $18 per day. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms simple but they worked just fine. We also had a kitchen and that was a nice perk to have breakfast at home. There were weird noises at night (a rooster?/dog?) and the fridge was quite noisy. It was minimal and we were able to sleep ok. Overall great for a large group with intention to eat out for dinner and relax all day by the beach. Pool was OK too, it wasn’t hugeeeee and there were lots of families with kids, but we used it without a problem.

Basic
If you're not looking for anything too flashy and are on a budget, this is the place. Pictures a bit deceiving furniture is more Ikea-ish. Suites are large and were clean. Need bigger TVs in main living area (32 inch). Lacks a bit on amenities, no lounge/bar. Overall is in need of major updates.
