Casa Carcavelos

We had the most wonderful and relaxing two weeks in Casa Carcavelos. A house with a great view, full of authentic elements, a rich family history and very kind amd helpful hosts. We enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool and the tennis court which were both well maintained, as well as the fully the equiped kitchen . The house is well located so it is easy to plan trips to surrounding cities and villages. Great restaurants in the neighbourhood and many friendly people. We can definitely recommend a stay at Casa Carcavelos.

Beautiful house in the North of Portugal

We really enjoyed our holiday in this typical Portuguese house. Authentic and with fantastic facilities, we loved the pool, during the day and night. It is a wonderful house to relax, and is also really well located to explore Northern Portugal - less than an hour from the Douro, Gerês national park and the beautiful cities of Guimarães and Braga. The owners are very nice and leaving us some wine from their own vineyard was a lovely gesture - I ended up buying 12 bottles it was so good. Highly recommended.

Une belle semaine de vacances passée à la Casa de Carcavelos

Cette grande maison typiquement portugaise, avec sa piscine et son tennis, nous a permis de passer une belle semaine de vacances en famille ! Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain, et la cuisine en face de la piscine est très fonctionnelle pour une dizaine de personnes. La propriété est belle avec un beau jardin.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée. les extérieurs sont magnifiques et très agréable, nous avons apprécié le tennis et la piscine très grande. La région est très belle et très accueillante. Propriétaire fort sympathique et à l’écoute. Nous reviendrons certainement pour continuer de découvrir cette région.

Magnifique lieu de villégiature

Nous avons passé deux magnifiques semaines en famille (à huit), dans un cadre très agréable et calme. Située près d’une petite ville avec toutes les commerces, la Casa de Carcavelos est une très belle propriété traditionnelle et chargée d’histoire. Ses deux terrasses, offrent d’une part de l’ombrage pour y prendre les repas à coté de sa cuisine d’été, et d’autre part une vue panoramique sur les collines avoisinantes et sur le jardin luxuriant. La villa dispose également d’une grande piscine et de transats. Les cinq chambres possèdent chacune une salle de bain, toutes les pièces sont spacieuses et joliment décorées dans un style traditionnel. De nombreux équipements sont mis à disposition on s'y sent comme à la maison. Nous remercions nos hôtes Rita et Lucinda pour leur accueils particulièrement chaleureux et bienveillants.

Très bon séjour dans une excellente ambiance

Nous avons vécu à neuf dans cette très belle villa équipée de tout ce que l'on peut souhaiter pour se distraire: très grande piscine, terrain de tennis en excellent état, babyfoot qui a vu des parties acharnées... De plus des propriétaires charmants réactifs à toutes nos sollicitations. A recommander!!
