Charming little house near the sea

the cottage "les pommiers" was renovated in 2008 respecting local tradition, it is composed of a mezzanine bedroom, a cozy lounge (tv, wi-fi, dvd player, radio), fully open kitchen equipped and very functional (washing machine, oven, induction, microwave, etc.), bathroom with shower and WC. The garden, 250m2, is fully enclosed and not overlooked with apple trees, garden furniture, barbecue. and a closed car park. the cottage is a good starting point for visiting the cotentin, the islands, the pointe de la hague, ste mere eglise .... hope you have a good holiday !!!
It is located between Barneville carteret and portbail, close to all shops.

Klein aber fein

Herbststürme in der Normandie

Meine kleine Hündin und ich verbrachten traumhafte 2,5 Wochen in diesem urgemütlichen, ruhig gelegenen kleinen Häusschen in Saint-Georges-de-la-Rivière. Da wir außerhalb der üblichen Reisezeit unterwegs waren, hatten wir, insbesondere unter der Woche, den Strand und die herrlichen Dünen für uns alleine, ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Auch die Wochenmärkte in Portbail und Barneville konnten wir ganz ohne Touristentrubel, in vollen Zügen genießen. Das Haus lässt sich bei ungemütlichem Wetter gut beheizen, das Bett ist mega bequem, es fehlte an nichts. Alles war sehr sauber. Vanessa ist eine sehr hilfsbereite, unkomplizierte und sympathische Vermieterin. Fazit: auch im November, trotz recht viel Regen und Wind einfach herrlich! Es gibt in der Gegend so viel anzuschauen und unendliche Möglichkeiten, etwas zu unternehmen, wir sind nicht fertiggeworden. Also - kommen wir wieder...

kleines, nettes Ferienhaus mit schönem Garten

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, besonders den Garten. Das Ferienhaus ist insgesamt gut ausgestattet, die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig, für meinen Mann war das Bett leider zu kurz, die Matratze hätte bequemer sein können, die Breite von nur 140 cm war für uns nicht gerade gemütlich. Die Gartenstühle waren teilweise in die Jahre gekommen, 2 sind zerbrochen. Dennoch würde ich das Haus für Leute, die ein 140 Bett gewohnt sind, durchaus weiterempfehlen. Es macht Spaß, die Umgebung zu erkunden, der Strand ist nicht weit entfernt, in der Nähe gibt es wunderbare weite Strände und Dünen, sowie einen großen Carrefour Supermarkt in Barneville, ein Ausflug nach Cherbourg und Barfleur war sehr schön, leider konnten wir mit unserer Hündin nicht zur kleinen Insel Tatihou übersetzen.

Tiny House in super Lage

Unser Aufenthalt im Juni 2023 war wunderschön! Wir hatten Wetterglück und die Lage des kleinen Häuschens ist ideal. Man kann tolle Strandwanderungen machen oder im wunderbaren Garten, der zum Haus gehört, die Sonne genießen. Zum Strand fährt man (wir hatten Räder dabei) keine 5 Minuten, es sind 2 km. Der Parkplatz vorm Haus ist eng, ein größeres Auto bekommt Probleme, da keine Auto in der Strasse parken darf. Unser Citroen Berlingo passte so gerade eben. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat man in Barnville-Carteret (4 km) Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, aber es ist klein. Es gibt keinen Schrank für die eigene Kleidung, man lebt aus dem Koffer. Es gab im Bett nur eine große Decke, keine Decke pro Person, wie wir es aus Deutschland gewohnt sind. Wir hatten daher keinen passenden Bettbezug dabei. Trotzdem was zählt ist Lage, Lage, Lage und die ist einfach wunderbar, uns hat das Grundstück sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, sind aber auch keine anspruchsvollen Gäste.

Ideales Ferienhaus für Mensch und Hund

Wir (2 Personen und ein großer Hund) haben im Mai 3 Wochen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht und können es nur empfehlen. Das Ferienhaus ist klein, aber fein und der dazugehörigen Garten komplett eingezäumt und ein Traum. Selbst unser Hund hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Hinzu kommt, dass Saint Georges de la Reviere ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen ist.

Dieses charmante Häuschen mit Garten immer wieder gerne

Das süße Häuschen in ruhiger Lage verfügt über alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Schon gleich bei der Ankunft muss man keinen Parkplatz suchen, sondern kann auf dem Gelände parken und das Tor hinter sich schließen, so dass auch der Hund sich sogleich frei in Haus und Garten bewegen kann, ohne ihn im Blick haben zu müssen. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts. Zum Strand sind es knapp 2 km, den man somit auch als "Gassirunde" zu Fuß noch ganz gut erreichen kann. Und mit dem PKW bieten sich schon im Umkreis von 15 km ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und tolle Ausflugsziele (wie z. B. der herrliche Strand mit den weiten Dünen in Hatainville, oder die Klippen am Cap Cateret, von wo man vom Hafen aus auch einen Bootstripp zu Jersey und weiteren Kanalinseln unternehmen kann.) Viele weitere attraktive Ziele des Cotentin sind im Umkreis von 100 km zu erreichen. Wir waren zum 2. Mal bei den freundlichen Gastgebern und werden wiederkommen!

Très beau village calme bien situé. Bien adapté pour notre compagnon à quatre pattes. Accessibilité à la mezzanine dangereux! Batterie de cuisine un peu vieillissante ! Matelas du lit fatigué . Un petit coup de jeunesse ne serait pas superflu.

Jolie villa aménagée dans 1 ancien pressoir avec parking et jardin fermés, à 2 km des dunes dans un village à 3 km de Barneville et de ses commerces. Le Cotentin, avec ses dunes, ses caps, ses havres, ses marais, ses villages, ses bosquets, ses ports offre 1 variété touristique à découvrir.

Très satisfaite

L'emplacement de la location est très bien situé pour découvrir le Cotentin. Le logement est très bien agencé. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut (lit fait, serviettes de toilette, torchons, etc.). La douche est très bien. Le lit est confortable. Mes 2 chats ont également beaucoup apprécié leur séjour tant à l’intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Le jardin est aussi très bien. Les pommes sont délicieuses. Et la mer est à 1 700 m à pieds de la location ou 5 min en voiture. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et à l'écoute. Bref, cette quinzaine des vacances de la Toussaint 2021 a été très très chouette. Le Cotentin est par ailleurs magnifique.

Gagne à être connu...!

Fait pour deux, mais il n'y manque rien. Les propriétaires sont très sympas, ne veulent surtout pas vous déranger et très à l'écoute de vos demandes. Le "coin" et les environs sont très calmes, à proximité de la mer et tous les commerces sont à portée de vélo. Ce qui ne gâte rien, la gastronomie et la restauration sont variés et abordables en prix. A voir et à revoir...!

Une belle petite Maison, traditionelle mais aussi avec tout ce qu`il faut. Tout proche de la plage, mais aussi animé à cinq kilometres d' un côté (Poerbail) et cinq km de l' autre côté Carteret). En plus, et cela compte encore plus un proprietaire très gentil, disponible....Vraiment un bijou cet endroit.

Jolie maison au calme

Petite maison décorée avec goût et très agréable, de surcroît avec un grand jardin clos et reposant. Les propriétaires sont charmants, discrets et à l'écoute de leurs hôtes. Nous recommandons vivement cette location et y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
