When it comes to parking, 80 LEX could just as easily be name Easy Street: parking here is simple! And that’s exactly how it should be, when you’re on vacation.

You don’t need a car to enjoy downtown Asheville (our walk score: 93!), but if you bring one, here are your options:

Additional paid parking options:
Parking Decks: Our preferred parking option! Both the City of Asheville and Buncombe County operate safe, reliable and inexpensive parking decks. The first half hour is free and the full-day rate is just $20, so feel free to leave your vehicle overnight. There are several parking decks within walking distance of 80 LEX on Rankin Ave; we’ll send all the details with your booking confirmation.

On-Street Parking: There are more than 700 on-street metered parking spaces in downtown Asheville. All meters are for short-term parking (two hours or less, as marked), at a cost of $1.50 per hour . On-street metered parking is free on holidays, Sundays, and every day after 6 pm.

Loading Zones: There is one right in from If you’re arriving via taxi, Uber, or Lyft, feel free to unload in one of Asheville’s dedicated loading zones, limited to 30 minutes (or less, as marked).

Accessing 201 requires climbing one flight of stairs, (22 stairs total). One free parking space is provided one block away in an open, private parking lot , next to condo complex. The apartment is in downtown Asheville, an urban setting, in a multi-tenanted building. Usual sights and sound of city living should be expected.

This place has a great vibe, was very clean, had everything we needed to stay and to cook - and with two great stores near by (Whole Foods and Trader Joes) it was soooo easy! Exploring Asheville

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Asheville! The accommodation at 80 N. Lexington was the perfect location for exploring the downtown area since everything was within walking distance. The apartment was beautifully appointed with every need anticipated. Asheville has a lively art and music scene and this location is close to many popular downtown venues for dining and live music, as well as art galleries. Anyone wanting to explore Asheville for the first time would find this a great space since it puts you in the middle of the action while staying in a very comfortable and beautiful space.

The flat looks just like the pictures, so totally amazing. Great location, although parking is a bit of a hassle (although there is an hourly rate lot right across the street). But the unit is very well appointed, and you have pretty much everything you need for the trip to be a lot more than simply staying in a hotel. Given that we drank coffee at Izzy's, had dinner at the Indian restaurant, and went to the Crown and Quill speakeasy bar a block away, we kinda got spoiled by doing it all in the same block. Anyway, great unit--just like it looks.

Amazing!

Absolutely stunning place! It was incredibly clean, had everything we needed and more. Instructions for arrival and departure easy. If we come back to Asheville, we will definitely stay here again. There is a great parking garage which is reasonable close by. This was one of the best apartment loft we have stayed in! Thank you. Extra thanks to such a great cleaning staff. Stellar Experience!

From the location, to the unit itself, you really can’t get any better than this place! We drove down for a concert at Harrah’s Cherokee center. The condo was quite literally on the street over. It couldn’t have been easier. The unit was stunning and the vibes were perfect. We will be planning another stay just to hangout in the unit longer and explore more of the city. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting a luxurious, relaxing stay in downtown Asheville.

Top notch downtown Asheville rental

This is really one of my favorite downtown Asheville rentals. You can walk everywhere yet they were careful to embed the bedroom inside in such a way as to reduce sound. Modern and very clean. Though no private parking, attend to the recommendation to use the Rankin garage. $20 a day and you can forget about your car, as you won’t need it. I’ll come back to this one.

Couples Escape

My husband and I rentwd this loft as a place to escape life for a bit. It was everything we needed it to be and more. The location is perfect. Walk outside the door and there are shops, restaurants and bars very close. The loft was cozy and cool and well decorated. We enjoyed french pressed coffee each morning and spent our time with a balance of activity and rest. We will definitely stay here in the future. Also, we made one suggestion about updating the pillows on the bed as they were a little flat. The property owner delivered 4 brand new pillows by that evening. This was our favorite vacation in years. Highly recommend.

Growing up Santa Fe, NM I saw a unique blend of artistic community, endless outdoor opportunities, interesting history, beautiful landscapes, and a diverse mix of cultures.

Though far from Santa Fe and a different climate, I arrived in Asheville in the early 90’s to practice Chinese Medicine and felt some of the same elements at play. Asheville was not well known, but you could feel the energy building and the mixture of art, landscape, environment, history and community all coming together. It reminded me of my ‘early days’ in Santa Fe. One of my closest friends was Andy Brokmeyer, who I told for several years that he needed to come to Asheville, as it was a dynamic and exciting place. We were also avid kayakers, and Asheville has been a Mecca for kayaking since the early days of the sport so I knew I could lure him out with the promise of all the great rivers in the area.

He came out ‘for a visit’ and hasn’t left. That was 16 years ago.
Asheville has grown into the most happening place in the region, far beyond my expectations, and has sustained an authentic, community oriented and dynamic quality. Like my dad used to say about few places, it has ‘cultural energy’.

Why they chose this property

Though both Andy and I had done some residential real estate investment and development, 80 N Lexington was our first move into the commercial side. It was an old building, greatly in need of repair, and was a bit removed from the core downtown commercial traffic. We scraped together what we could and fixed it up, with an eye towards something special in the future.

Now, many years later, North Lexington Ave is hopping, with restaurants, breweries, bars, tea houses, coffee shops, galleries and wonderful, diverse retail shops right out the door.

And 80 N Lexington has been transformed into a blend of funky, hip, and industrial intertwined with lush, upscale design. A mix of style and comfort that is unique and authentically Asheville.
