Great place for a vacation

The house is great. Very well stocked with essentials and the location is perfect. The neighborhood is tucked away and perfect for a quiet oceanfront break. If you want things to do or places to see, the house is close to several entertainment “things” you can do. We really enjoyed the week in the house. I have family local to the area and we spent the week fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, cooking clams and just sitting around. There is something for all ages. My mother also stayed with us a couple nights and can not do stairs very well. The first floor of the house was perfect for her. No more than one step anywhere she had to go.

Amazing Beachfront Home

This was our first time renting a shared space with family/friends and this home made it very comfortable and satisfied all of our needs(wants). Absolutely loved everything about it! Hope to rent again next Summer!

Great vacation house

This is a renovated, nicely decorated, and clean house with an amazing view. It has everything you could possibly need. It is very comfortable with plenty of inside and outside furniture. We are hoping Crystal continues to rent it!

Amazing property and host

This was by far one of my favorite rental experiences. Crystal’s property was immaculate and perfect for 2-3 families to fit comfortably. She was so quick to respond and had everything needed for our stay. In previous rentals I have had to bring certain every day necessities (sponges, extra paper towels, spices, etc.) - none of this was needed here. She had everything we needed and more. The neighborhood was amazing, the neighbors were all friendly and overall it was the perfect long weekend away. You won’t regret booking her home!

A Midwest break to Mattapoisett

I spotted Crystal’s place on Acoot Cove a while back. I knew we were coming to Mattapoisett and wanted a place on the water (we were absolutely right on the water), and a short drive to and from The Bay Club where my daughter competed in a 54-hole national tournament. Our six day stay was ideal. We experienced windy days, cloudy days, rainy days, sunny days. In any of those conditions, the view across the water was mesmerizing.

Beautiful Location!

My husband and I came up from Florida to visit our kids and grandkids in the area. Everything was great! Plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy our time together. Beds were very comfortable (as promised) as the home is nicely appointed with a couple added bonuses. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us. We loved weather watching, shelling, building fires, and viewing wildlife off the porch. See you next time!

Girls getaway

I first would like to say that the owner, Crystal, was wonderful! I had lots of questions, and not only did she answer them so promptly, she was kind and so helpful. We were a group of 5 women, and stayed for 3 nights. The house is beautiful with wonderful views and in a very nice location. The beach is steps away and area is great for walking. I would highly recommend this property whether it be a group of friends or family vacation. The downstairs is like a separate apartment which is a nice added feature. The property is listed as a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, however, there is 2 full bathrooms, and the third is an outside shower. I had not read the full information, only the preview description so I wanted to mention this.

Wonderful beach vacation spot

This property was a perfect spot for 2 families to come together and enjoy the beach. With 2 floors that had their own bathroom, kitchen and living space. Loved that you could sit on the balcony or the porch and enjoy the beach. The blow up paddle boards were awesome!!

Long Weekend Getaway

Loved our stay in Mattapoisett! We were a party of four adults and we enjoyed this beautiful, newly renovated ocean front home with wonderful deck and grill. We liked that the main living space and some of the bedrooms were on the same floor so our elderly Mom could easily get around. Also loved that the lower level provided a separate area for those of us that needed to get a little work in. Easy place to access. Nice quiet neighborhood. We would go back!

Mattapoisett gem

The property location was just as expected, quiet and serene. The house is updated and very clean. Lots of beds for family’s of 3-12. We loved how the downstairs could be closed off from the upper level with a door for privacy Love the view of the islands from the decks in the back. The upper deck is child friendly with no stairs to worry about. Also plenty of bathrooms. Overall we all loved this property!

Definite revisit!

My mother and law, myself and my cousin were looking for a nice place on the ocean to get some rest and relaxation. We found it at this wonderful home, very close to the water in a nice neighborhood. Crystal was extremely helpful and made herself available immediately with questions we had. We had a trivial hiccup with getting into the home and Crystal was immediately available to do all she could - we were not ever left in the lurch. She genuinely cared for our comfort. A repeat visit definitely!

Hi! I am a mother of 2 amazing kids, wife to a great guy and a Realtor based in Newton MA. My dream was to purchase a home in Buzzards Bay on the water. I did it!! And I am so excited to share this special spot with you, it's a great time.

Why they chose this property

This beach community has given me and many others many of my happiest memories from childhood summers and now I am watching my own children make their own down here. There is truly so much to do during the day from swimming, fishing, boating, paddle boarding, tanning and exploring. If you have a boat we have a mooring right out front of our house and use the jetty to fish in the early mornings. Bike rides, walks and a short distance to local shops this is truly a special place that truly allows one to feel free and lighthearted.

Private beach, two public beaches for residents, large deck, outdoor shower patio under deck with space for everyone. Claming, fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, biking, walking and relaxing. Wonderful, peaceful and truly spectacular views.
