Come and enjoy this family friendly 2 bedroom home right on the east shore of beautiful Hubbard Lake . This property is fully furnished with all amenities provided. Enjoy fishing from the dock, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Catch the sunset from the deck, dock or fire pit. If you like to fish or just cruise the lake there are public boat launches close to the property on the east and south shores. Please note: there are no docking facilities for boats at the property. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Come and enjoy the beauty, tranquility and peace you find at Hubbard Lake. Truly a pure northern Michigan experience!!

Ice Fishing Tournament

My husband and I stayed with our good friends for a weekend to attend a fishing tournament. Cozy little cabin with all amenities, Wi-Fi, and lakeside. Communication with the property owner was available and easy. We stayed when a snowstorm went through and the road to the cabin was being plowed when we were leaving, no need to worry about getting stuck in the 10inches of snow we received. It was a Nice weekend getaway to enjoy the outdoors in Michigan! Thank You!

Great Getaway!

Great mid-week getaway to do some boating, kayaking and relaxing. Loved the house and the natural surroundings around the lake. The host was great to work with, too! We will be back next year!

Great Lake front property

Great spot on the East Bay of Hubbard Lake. Property was perfect for my sister and I while attending a class reunion. Enjoy the lake from the porch or sitting on the dock. Scott responded quickly to all questions and best of all did not gouge us on the price of cleaning. Very reasonable and I would recommend the spot.

What a view!

A wonderful, cozy place on the lake. Beautiful view, awesome sunsets! Very comfortable bed. First time to Hubbard Lake, impressive. Also recommend Smokey's Bar for dinner.

Restful retreat

Just what we were looking for!

We really enjoyed our stay! We had a great week on the water. The house had everything we needed, including a dishwasher! Scott was a great host and checked in with us, to make sure everything was good and no issues. We plan to stay here again.

Beautiful Location & Great Communication

The property owner, Scot, was very good communicating with us prior to our stay. He even called upon our arrival to make sure everything was good. The view of Hubbard Lake was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting by the campfire and watching the beautiful sunsets. The house was very nice and clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay.

Perfect for a quick weekend getaway

Property and location were great! The cottage is stocked with all the basics, which is super helpful! The cottage was actually bigger than expected and we enjoyed sunsets every night by the bonfire. Scott was available by phone for the one small issue when we first arrived. I would for sure stay again. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful Lake

Quiet neighborhood and the cottage had everything you need to relax and have fun on the lake. Scott was available when needed to answer questions. Not a very busy lake, which was nice.

Great days at Hubbard lake

We found the property and house to be clean and well kept. Nice accommodations. All the utensils needed for cooking. Owner very helpful with questions. We all said we would stay here again.

Fun and relaxing.

Everything you needed was there for you. Large and comfortable space to relax in. Loved the 2 lazy boy rockers. The view was beautiful.

Very nice lake house

Nice and relatively secluded lake house (at least the time we went there in mid August). Great place to kick back a bit, without loosing touch completely with the rest of the world, got most of the creature comforts anybody would need. Also not too far away from grocery shops in Alpena. Highly recommended. The owner was very responsive when we called to get help locating the key.

Perfect little getaway spot!

Myself and a couple of friends stayed here earlier this week and we really enjoyed our stay! The house is the perfect size for a smaller group and offers the perfect views and sounds of the lake to relax and enjoy. The sunsets were gorgeous! Scott was outstanding with communication before/during/after when we had questions or needed info. The house is also filled with a lot of the "extras" you might not think of or don't want to have to pack. There are lots of options for things to do/play in the shed which was nice, extra chairs, and the kayaks were fun too. It is such a peaceful place - we would definitely stay again in the future!
