No Pets! ACKtually Ours provides a unique opportunity to escape to Nantucket! Enjoy your very own 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Nantucket-style home located near the Miacomet Golf Course and centrally located near both beaches, the brewery and town. This home was designed by an interior designer with new beach style furnishings and amenities. Enjoy privacy, peace and quiet with all types of activities right nearby! Walk to your private beach through Land Bank property. Enjoy the beautiful weather with a glass of wine on the outdoor patio or grill on the Weber Genesis II gas grill. Cisco Brewery is right around the corner and the large new Stop and Shop grocery is just down the street. Parking for two cars is available on the property.
The home offers all the creature comforts you need, including a living room with gas fireplace, white slipcovered sofa and chairs, family room, kitchen, dining room, and outdoor shower. Powder room is also on the first floor. The second floor has three bedrooms with two queen beds and one king, a linen closet and two full baths. The basement has laundry, and two rooms, one as an extra playroom/TV room with sofa and chair, foosball and puzzle tables for rainy days.
Luxury amenities include slipcovered sofas, supima cotton sheets, Claire Murray rugs, Pre de Provence soaps, newly finished hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances. The entire home has been freshly painted with new shutters, blinds and blackout shades in all bedrooms. The large dining room table easily seats eight and is located next to a separate family room with new flat screen tv. On rainy days, there are children’s’ activities in the living room cupboard. The house has an outdoor shower for after the beach!
When you arrive, please read the book on the kitchen island. It tells you where to rent your bikes, our favorite restaurants and beaches, great places to shop and the must-do historic sites on the island. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and neighbors help keep an eye on the property for us. Our property manager, Jason, will provide you with keys and ensures that everything is ready when you arrive. Our house is our pride and joy and we hope you will treat it with the care that we do! Nantucket requires recycling so please follow the instructions provided in the welcome book. To ensure that all guests have a great experience, absolutely no pets are allowed.
All of your needs are at the house. No need to bring your hairdryer, straightener, beach towels or toys. It is all there waiting for you when you arrive.

Fabulous House

The house is bright, clean and beautiful. It was everything we needed for the stroll weekend. We loved it and would definitely book again. The owner was very quick getting back to me when I messaged her with questions and was very helpful. It’s a quick uber or drive into town.

Lovely Stay

Our family of four had a lovely stay. The house was in great shape for our arrival. It is well appointed with everything you need, including beach gear. There are a number of different sitting areas, a nice shaded backyard and a large basement area that we didn’t even use. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Sue was a great host and we would stay here again!

Perfect Nantucket House!

My husband, myself and our 3 year old stayed for a week in August 2024. The house had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and we found the location to be convenient for everything we wanted to do. The bus stop is a short walk and the beaches are all a short drive away. We had a few minor maintenance issues that were quickly resolved. Communication with the host was always easy and quick. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful Nantucket getaway with us!

Charming, Comfy and Peaceful Home Base

A beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed home in a peaceful subdivision. Just an Uber, bus or bike ride from town and beaches. Be sure to rent bikes from Easy Rider instead of paying extra to use the house bikes as the house bikes are not in good repair (and you cannot walk to the beach so bikes are a must). The VRBO listing was a little confusing as there is no hot tub. Sue our host was super-responsive when we had minor questions. Overall we loved the house and it was a wonderful base for exploring all Nantucket has to offer.

Great house for family in a great location

We were more than pleased with the location, cleanliness and communication. We would definitely love to return. We loved the actual crib that was comfy for our baby (rather than a stiff pack and play) and we loved the proximity to the beach, town and beautiful trails. Absolutely Idyllic Nantucket Rental!

This was our first trip to Nantucket. Despite the fact that we did not have great weather, we had a fantastic time - due in no small part to this house. Our group included a set of grandparents, myself and my husband, and our 3 boys (ages 4-9). The location of this house was perfect. It's easy to get everywhere on the island, yet the street was quiet enough we never worried about our kids running around outside. There was ample space for them to run and play in the backyard, which felt very private. The house is absolutely immaculate. We have stayed in some beautiful rental houses before, but this one is easily the nicest and cleanest. The bathrooms seemed brand new. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of extra pillows/blankets available. Bath and beach towels were also plentiful. The furniture in the living and family rooms was nice, but not too fancy where I worried about my children sitting on them. There was excellent natural light in the house, which was nice given the number of rainy and cloudy days we had. The outdoor patio area was also great. The owner was very communicative leading up to our rental and during. I had an issue with transportation, and she went above and beyond to help me out. I can't say enough positive things about this rental property and our experience with it!

Wonderful house in charming Nantucket

This is a very comfortable, clean and extremely well and thoughtfully furnished home for a great Nantucket holiday. Speedy and helpful communication with Sue. The setting is quiet and relaxing. I would describe the location as 10 minutes by car or 15 minutes by bike to town, stores, and beaches. 5 stars!

Awesome home to enjoy the Xmas Stroll in Nantucket

This was a great home for us to stay to enjoy the Xmas Stroll in Nantucket. The home was very clean, spacious, warm and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. Sue was a great host and was very accomodating, informative and quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend this home for a future visit to Nantucket.

Nantucket Perfection

We had an amazing Thanksgiving Week in Nantucket at this beautiful, very comfortable, and centrally located home. We were lucky enough to be in Nantucket for the birth of our grandaughter, who perfectly timed her arrival in time for Thanksgiving. We loved everything about this house…..comfortable beds, plush towels, updated and beautiful kitchen and bathrooms, magazine worthy and extremely comfortable family room and living room, and a coffee bar too! My husband and I hope to return to Nantucket very soon:)

Excellent!

My family (5 year old and 2 year old) had a great time at this house! You instantly feel at home walking in the doors. It is beautifully decorated, but also extremely functional with two little kids. Everything was extremely clean- we were very comfortable. This was the most well stocked Nantucket rental I’ve ever stayed in. Everything from condiments to detergent to shampoo is readily available in case you forgot anything (or didn’t want to bring anything!). We didn’t do any cooking, but the kitchen was great and so well stocked with spices, etc. Sue was so responsive and also accommodating when we unexpectedly had to move our original dates due to sickness. Not a negative thing to say- we will be back!

Fantastic Accommodations!

We’ve been vacationing in Nantucket for 15 years and this is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in! It has quick access via road or bike path to both Surfside and Cisco beaches. Outside of a great location, it has everything you need to cook a great meal at home, relax outside, have a beach day, and get a good night of rest! The beds and linens are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with spices, oil, and sharp knives (underrated quality in a rental). Loved our whole week here!

Mother+Daughter Trip

My best friend and I grabbed our moms and stayed at for a few days while exploring Nantucket. This house was exactly what we needed - plenty of room for games, wine, cheese and late nights chats. The backyard and patio were incredible! We couldn’t have loved this home more. Thank you so much Sue!

Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Sue's property. The house is beautiful and we had a great time. We walked to shops/restaurants on Surfside- a bit of a walk and we drove most of the time to places! Cisco is also a quick drive. Quiet neighborhood with trails right at the end of the street. The place was as advertised and very comfortable overall. Sue was very easy to communicate with.

Beautiful home in a great central location

We had an amazing stay on Nantucket at Sue’s house. The house was as listed if not better and was perfect for 5. The kids-island location is close enough to jet in and out of town, but also feels like a world away with easy access to beaches, Cisco, Bartlett Farms, playgrounds, etc.

Wonderful Stay!

My group of two couples has a wonderful stay at this property on Nantucket. The house was as advertised, if not better. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the location was perfect for our trip. The proximity to Miacomet golf course and beach were ideal for us. We were also really impressed with the WiFi (which was a big deal for us given that a few of us had to work during our stay) Sue, the property manager, was extremely easy and pleasant to work with, and everything about the check-in/check-out process was really smooth. I highly recommend this rental.
