LJ’s beach house is located in beautiful North Jacksonville Beach, situated 5 short blocks from the beach. The House offers three bedrooms and two full baths. Sleeping arrangements can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people and provides the perfect getaway, family vacation, office retreat or just time away from the daily grind. The outdoor area is a tropical oasis where you can relax and unwind. Back yard includes a large pool, connected hot-tub, fire pit, large covered porch and ample outdoor seating.

Fun in the sun

Great house with all the things you need for a fun stay! Thanks for hosting our friends and family, we loved the yard and all the pool toys. The house worked perfect for us and had everything we needed!

Quick Family gathering

Great place to stay for a quick, last minute family gathering. We came in from all around to join a family gathering at in-town relatives' house. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, but great access to the beach and local places.

Excellent New Year's!

Our family stayed here for the week of New Year's. It was perfect! It is close to the beach, in a quiet neighborhood, and we loved hanging out in the backyard. The home looks exactly like the pictures; so cute and beachy! The host was very good with communication. We will definitely be back!

Our new go-to place!

Everything was fantastic. We loved that we were able to bring our 2 pups and feel very secure with the awesome fully fenced in yard. The house was clean and cozy, and the backyard with pool and hot tub was the perfect place to relax. We will definitely be staying here anytime we come back to Jax!

Family time

Our granddaughter was graduating nursing school at Jacksonville University and we thought to make it a little family get away and this home could not have been better. Beautiful beach vibe spacious clean and near everything. Just perfect and host could not have made us more comfortable. Great place great time!

Beautiful home!

We were displaced from our original booking due to the hurricane and we booked this home the night before. (One of the few that allowed that) it was lovely and fit all our needs. Although we took most of everything we needed they had wonderful extras around the home that you don’t normally see. Enough towels for an army! Lots of kitchen supplies as well. Beautiful backyard, pool hot tub and fire pit! Amazing host that touched base with you just enough to make sure you had what you needed. Loved our stay!

Family Trip

Our family had a wonderful stay and we would recommend this house to anyone. It is even cuter than the photos show. The house was very clean and the beds and furniture were comfortable and perfect for our family of 6. The pool, hot tub and backyard were great for hanging out in with plenty of seating and a large, covered porch for when it rained. The owners provide lots of great pool and beach floats, boogie boards, and even beach toys for children. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was well furnished for guests. I highly recommend this house.

Best Rental - Even Better in Person

I don't even know where to start, as this was the best rental we've ever stayed in. Leslie is a wonderful communicator and an excellent host. Their house was perfect for our family and is filled with beautiful beach decorations and paintings. All of the necessities were provided and the backyard Oasis is a getaway of its own. We can't wait to return!

fabulous vacation rental/exceeded all our expectations and more

The pictures do not do this property justice. This house is immaculant and beautifully decorated. All the little extras provided by the host went above and beyond. From multitude of towels to extra throw blankets to cuddle on the couch. We were so imppressed. My son is stationed at NAS JAx so we will most definately be back

House had everything you could want and more!

This house had everything you needed and more. A hot tub at the click of a button, private pool (unheated though so check the dates that you travel if the pool is important to you. We went first week in March 2022 and the pool was warm enough to swim most of the time), bikes, grill, firepit, plenty of outdoor seating, all the bells and whistles inside the house that you could ever need, plus the whole house (inside & out) had original beach art (not only paintings and sculptures but on doors, headboards, stools, and cabinets) done by a local artist. One of the nicest beach-feel houses I have been in. With that being said, you are only a few blocks from the beach. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The hosts, Leslie and Joe, who were very accommodating, recommended the Sandollar which gave you an excellent view of the river and the Fish Company which had excellent food and a raw bar. Can’t say enough about this house or the hosts and would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Excellent place to stay

The house looks just like the pictures. Leslie was so easy to deal with and quick to respond with any questions I had. There was plenty of room for a family of seven and we didn't feel like we were over crowded. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for numerous people to be in there at the same time. The kids loved swimming in the pool everyday and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The house was stocked with everything you would need. All you need to bring is your clothes and toothbrush. There were PLENTY of beach towels and bath towels, so future tenants do not need to bring any towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. There were so many things to do close to the house and only a few blocks from the beach. There were a lot of beach toys and games. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely stay at this house again. We had a fantastic time!

Spring break

Ok so Leslie was very easy to work with. There were some hiccups during our stay but she tried to fix them. The property is not in walking distance to the beach, plan on driving or taking a bike. The neighborhood is quiet. Things are close but not enough to walk, we drove our car or rode our bikes. The bikes at the property are horrible plan on bringing your own. They are very old and rusted. The pool was great, unfortunately the hot tub remote broke but we just texted Leslie and she would turn it on. I did not like that the coldest you can set the house to is 72 degrees it won’t get any colder than that, she has it locked. There were a lot of beach towels and the chairs were in good condition. There was a lot of mayonnaise stuff like that that people left which I didn’t like because it took up space in the fridge, I don’t want to use random open food other people used but that’s just me. The house was very clean and very cute but we did find a few dead roaches but they said the bad weather was to blame. It was a nice stay but I don’t think we would come back to this property again.

Best Vacay Ever

Leslie, Joe, and their team and home are nothing short of incredible. From the hot tub to the mattresses, this place is perfect. It is even better than the pictures. There is a huge king sized bed and walk-in closet in the master suite, 5 bikes, probably 20 beach towels (so don’t worry about bringing any!), an ENTIRE WAGON full of beach chairs, tons of useful food/ingredients in the pantry, excellent laundry room with plenty of supplies, firewood for the fire pit outside, floaties, literally everything anyone could need. My group was blown away by this place throughout our entire stay. We had an 18 year old with us and didn’t bring a high chair, and Leslie and Joe went above and beyond and brought us one. Absolutely, unbelievable kind and generous people. One thing to note: it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach if you use the crosswalk on 9th ave to walk across. Since we had the 18 month old, we drove most of the time and found free parking super easily and super close to the water except for on Saturday, when the beach was crowded. We also rode the bikes several times when someone stayed home with the baby. So the walk was a little tough when carrying all of our gear, but driving was easy peasy and the bikes were lots of fun!! Jax Beach is such a cute place and this house made it even sweeter. Make sure to look at the to go menus in a drawer in the kitchen!! Mellow mushroom pizza, rainbow sushi, and Cup of Job coffee were our favorite places. We just got home, and we’re missing LJ’s beach house and Jax Beach already. I hope everyone has the experience we had. So much love!

Absolutely Recommend

This place was great! My husband and I were traveling with our children (4-13), who all had a blast! The pool and hot tub were a hit with everyone. Plenty of seating, many restaurants near by, and this house had every basic essential, even ample beach towels. Walk to the beach wasn't bad.

Wonderful Mini Vacation

This is our 2nd time spending an extended weekend at Leslie’s place. The house was clean, beautiful and inviting. My family enjoyed the pool and close by beach. There were plenty of bicycles, outdoor and indoor games available. Truly another great stay at the beach house.

Paradise Retreat

This property is within an easy walk to the beach or a very short drive with plenty of parking. The neighborhood was very peaceful. The back yard is where we spent the majority of our time. The pool is wonderful, and there is a hot tub and fire pit that we did not make use of due to the heat. The patio area is amazing and provided shade when we wanted it. It was also very nice to be able to bring the dogs with us. Leslie provides everything that you need in the house, and also anything you could possibly need for a trip to the beach. She is helpful and responsive without being intrusive. We will definitely stay at this property again.

A Gem in Jax Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leslie and Joe's beach house. The backyard is a true gem with a pool, hot tub, and fire pit. The house is well-appointed (with everything you could need and then some) and the location is perfect. We spent a lot of time outside in the backyard. Our kids loved the pool. The beautiful beach is just up the street and the town of Neptune Beach is a short bike ride away. Leslie and Joe couldn't have been better hosts. We hope to return soon!

Perfect Family Getaway!

Quiet Neighbourhood Beach House

We just loved staying in this charming Beach House situated in a quiet low traffic neighbourhood. It is close to everything including Mayo Clinic. Leslie is a wonderful host and attentive to every detail. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable. The outside pool and jacuzzi area is private and has everything you need to enjoy the outdoors. I cannot recommend this place enough. It really is a true vacation hoe away from home. ~Deb

Wonderful Jax Spring Break!

We recently stayed the last week in March and had a great trip! We have three children (5, 7, 9) and they loved the beach when the weather cooperated (not a far walk but plenty of parking if you want to drive). The pool and hot tub was key for us and the kids spent lots of time swimming and playing. The owners were very nice and we're available for any questions/assistance. The rental property was very clean, spacious and included all the amenities you would need for a enjoyable beach vacation (toys, bikes, cooler, grill, boogie boards, etc.)! Book and enjoy!
