A wonderful place to stay near the beach

A very cosy and quiet accommodation with a nice seating area outside, surrounded by flowers. The beach and the GR hiking trail are just a few minutes' walk away. The hostess Agnes is very friendly, takes great care of her guests and the communication was also perfect. A highly recommended accommodation.

Silent beautiful normanic house

We enjoyed the traditional house with the lovely charming garden. Only 5 minutes by feet to the seaside to watch sundown.

The Old’uns Visit Les Grandes Dalles

As soon as we arrived at the Gite we were met by our lovely Host Agnes and we were made to feel welcome, safe and cared for. The Gite was very comfortable and had an effective heating system which coped well with the weather expected at this time of year. Self catering was easy although we ate out on occasions. The low level of traffic on the local roads, also the peace and quiet in the immediate area was an added bonus for us that ensured that we came home refreshed and rejuvenated. Thankyou Agnes and Jacky for your care and attention.

Perfect holiday

This was the perfect location for our first family foreign holiday which we and the kids enjoyed immensely. Les Grandes Dalles is a beautiful hamlet and, pebbles aside, having the beach at the bottom of the street was ideal. It should be noted that, one small cafe aside, there aren't any shops or businesses within Grandes Dalles itself; there are a few shops in Sassetot a mile or so away, and Carrefour supermarkets at Cany Barville and Valmont - about 20 mins drive to each. There are a few more amenities at Les Petites Dalles and a slightly bigger beach. Les Grandes Dalles a great place from which to explore this corner of Normandy and we made excursions to Etretat, Veules-les-Roses, Veulletes-sur-Mer, Fecamp, Valmont - all beautiful. We even managed to have one night in Paris (via train from Fecamp). The outdoor space was perfect for the kids and the house itself was well-appointed. (one minor concern was that the freezer wasn't cold enough to keep ice cream frozen!) Agnes was a responsive, sensitive and lovely host, responding to any issues ASAP and helping us retrieve some lost property that we left on our departure. Overall we really recommend a stay here, including to British people - the road from the ferry terminal at Dieppe is quick and quiet.

Wunderschönes Haus mit einer herzlichen Gastgeberin

Den lobenden Worten der anderen Rezensionen können wir uns nur anschließen. Wir haben eine schöne und erholsame Zeit in diesem gemütlichen und liebevoll eingerichteten Häuschen verbracht. Immer mit freundlicher Unterstützung der aufmerksamen Gastgeberin Agnes. Vielen Dank noch mal für die köstliche Marmelade! Leider konnten wir den schönen Garten im Oktober nicht mehr benutzen, aber vielleicht können wir das irgendwann einmal im Sommer nachholen.

Mooi authentieke cottage

Mooi rustieke cottage met een mooi terras en ruime tuin. Auto kan op terrein geplaatst worden. Rustig gelegen op 200 meter van een kiezelstrand met aan weerszijden de mooie rotsen. voor uitstapjes met de auto goed gelegen tussen Dieppe en Etretat. Wij hebben er een hele fijne week gehad.

Notre séjour aux Grandes Dalles

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans une ambiance années 80. Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis par Agnès qui nous a guidé pour les bons plans locaux et régionaux. Au-delà de sa gentillesse, nous tenons à souligner la précision de son organisation pour notre venue, son accompagnement discret tout au long du séjour et sa disponibilité.

Ruhige Tage am Meer

Wir hatten wunderschöne und erholsame Tage am Meer. Nachts war es außerordentlich ruhig, es kühlte angenehm ab, auch gab es keine Stechmücken, so dass wir bei offenem Fenster ausgezeichnet schlafen konnten. Das Häuschen in traditioneller Bauweise entsprach genau unseren Erwartungen. Wir hatten viel Platz drinnen sowie draußen und die zwei Bäder waren für eine 5köpfige Familie ideal. Agnès und ihr Ehemann haben uns gute Tipps gegeben, z.B. das Grillen von Makrelen oder, dass es nicht ratsam sei am Wochenende nach Etretat zu fahren, was wir gerne berücksichtigt und gerne umgesetzt haben. Hatten wir ein Problem mit der Haustechnik oder ähnliches (ein Hornissennest), waren Agnès oder ihr Ehemann sofort da und haben Abhilfe geschaffen. Les Grandes Dalles ist ein wunderschöner Küstenort und es macht sehr viel Spaß hier zu wandern, Rad zu fahren, lecker Essen zu gehen und die Orte und Städte in der Umgebung zu besichtigen. Eine Woche Ruhe und Natur

Wir haben uns in dem hübschen, typisch normannischen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt! Es ist traumhaft ruhig, die Natur wunderschön, die beiden fußläufigen Strände laden zum Baden ein. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin Agnes war überaus herzlich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Prachtig huisje

Wij hebben een heerlijke week in deze deze woning gehad. De woning is schoon en wordt goed onderhouden, net als de prachtige tuin. Met de verhuurder loopt het contact prettig en je kan haar ook tips vragen voor activiteiten. Je loopt zo naar de zee, waar je kan zwemmen, wandelen. Kortom, Het is zoals de foto er al uit ziet!

Entschleunigung in Les Grandes Dalles

300 Meter vom Meer liegt das liebevoll eingerichtete Haus von Agnes in Les Grandes Dalles, in dem wir alles Notwendige vorgefunden haben, wobei die Betten nur 1,9 m lang sind. 14 Tage konnten wir als 5-köpfige Familie den Alltagsstress hinter uns und die Seele in dem ruhigen und beschaulichen Ort baumeln lassen. Beim Baden im Meer sind Badeschuhe aufgrund vieler Steine sinnvoll.

Tot rust komen in Franse sferen

Helemaal tot rust gekomen in dit gezellige en zeer schone huis. Heerlijke tuin waarin je van ochtend tot de avond kunt genieten van de zon. Na 200m lopen bevind je je aan het kiezelstrand tussen indrukwekkende Falaises. Dorp kent nauwelijks wat inwoners en is daardoor heel rustig. De omgeving is heuvelachtig en prachtig groen. Je kunt fijn wandelen richting verschillende dorpjes in de omgeving. Aan de kust liggen verschillende leuke plaatsjes die een bezoekje waard zijn. De eigenaresse van de woning is zeer hartelijk en behulpzaam in de communicatie en ontvangst.

Séjour reposant dans un endroit de charme

La maison est très accueillante, bien équipée et conforme à la description. Le cadre est charmant. Beaucoup de possibilités de petites randonnées et de tourisme à moins de 20 à 30 minutes en voiture. Nous sommes très contents du séjour.

Un havre de calme et de verdure

Parfaite maison pour se ressourcer. Fleurie et vintage, une maison où il fait bon se couper de la frénésie urbaine. Les randonnées à pied, à vélo ont été nombreuses et très plaisantes. La mer est effectivement à 2 mn à pieds et ma belle-sœur s'y est même baignée (un 12 avril !). Merci Agnès, pour l'accueil très chaleureux.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir haben eine sehr erholsame Woche in der Wohnung in Les Grandes Dalles verbracht. Die Lage ist perfekt und es sind nur wenige Gehminuten zum imposanten Strand. Agnès ist die perfekte Gastgeberin - immer erreichbar, stets freundlich und zuvorkommend, sehr hilfsbereit und trotzdem nicht aufdringlich. Die Wohnung ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und wir haben alle sehr gut geschlafen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Danke Agnès!

Sehr schönes Haus auch für die Nachsaison

Wir hatten - natürlich auch dank des tollen Wetters - eine wunderschöne Woche in dem Ferienhaus von Agnes, die eine sehr nette, zuverlässige und korrekte Gastgeberin war. Das Haus hat viel Atmosphäre und einen großen Wohn-Essbereich. Die Küchenausstattung könnte etwas besser sein (wenn man kochen möchte). Insgesamt toll, vielen Dank!

Wunderbar

Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch Agnes. Wir fühlten uns willkommen. Das haus hat alles was wir brauchten und wir konnten auch die schöne große Terrassenutzen. Zum Meer ist es ein kurzer Spaziergang und auch der Weg in die Nachbarorte ist gut zu machen.

Wundervoll

So ein freundlicher Empfang! Agnès ist immer erreichbar bei Fragen; ein über 200 Jahre altes Haus mit Charme und Geschichte und einer großen schönen Terrasse voller Blumen. Nur 200m zum Strand laufen - bei Flut oder Ebbe - immer spannend. Wasserschuhe sind empfehlenswert. Man kann wunderbar radeln auf den kleinen Straßen bis in weitere Umgebung und nach Fécamp. E-Bike vorteilhaft. In 2 km Sassetôt, ein freundlicher Ort mit wirklich allem was man braucht und einem ausgezeichneten und freundlichen Restaurant. Eine der schönsten Ferien, die wir gemacht haben!
