A perfect getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house in Seabrook Island, where our stay included our two small dogs along with our 14 y.o. granddaughter for a memorable and fun vacation. It offered more than ample space and was well appointed in every detail imaginable. The kitchen did not disappoint! We definitely enjoyed cooking and dining in as well as eating out. The large deck was a huge bonus with plenty of outdoor seating and a table for dining. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery outdoors as well as looking out across the golf course located in the back of the house.

Beautiful Golf View Home

This house is perfect for a family with kids and a furry friend. It has two sets of bunk beds for the kids to enjoy. It has a well-seated deck with a beautiful golf view that is gated, so parents can relax after a day at the beach or pool.

Nice house and great location, service needs improvement

The house, amenities and location are great. We have stayed in this house twice. The layout and exterior deck is great for our family of 4. The house needs better management, the cleanliness was questionable and things that were broken & reported last year are still not fixed a year later. We asked for help with a broken grill that was never responded too. There are great management companies on SI but Vacasa just falls short. If that's not important to you then the house is a great layout and location can't be beat for Seabrook.

Great Time with Friends

My partner and I, and two of our couple friends, stayed here for 5 days and had such a blast! There was plenty of room for all of us the hang out together, cook dinner and stay up late chilling on the gorgeous porch. We each had our own rooms and bathroom which was also a plus! Would recommend to anyone, and would stay again!!

okay, but we had several appliances (gas stove, dishwasher, tripped fuse) that took away from the...

The deck is nice. Loved the grill and fireplace on table, but they ran out of propane.

Great spot!

This house was clean, updated and in a great location. The layout was great for our family with plenty of space inside and out on the deck for everyone! The only thing I would recommend is better lighting in some of the rooms. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.

Great amenities and outside space

My wife and I were very impressed with the upgrades in the home including the kitchen and bathrooms. The appliances, cookware, coffee choices, towels, soaps, were above and beyond our expectations. We have stayed in many VRBO's so this was by far well equipped. In addition, the outside firepit/table and furniture was a real treat. That being said, the quilts on the bed and pillow shams were dirty. The rug in the living had a large, and unsightly stain. The sliding door glass which ran the entire backside of the home was unattractively dirty on the inside. I didn't find the communication with Vacasa to be helpful during my stay - the texts were from Oregon and there were long delays. FYI - the indoor fireplace is not available for guests.

Very nice home!

We loved staying at this property- the beach/pool access is convenient. The house is nice the only thing to be prepared for is that there aren’t drapes in the bedrooms so it gets really bright (especially upstairs) if you are trying to sleep past sunrise. Very clean and exceeded our expectations.

Home away from Home

I loved the simple decor and the homey feel of the house. There is a nook, a cranny or a place for everyone to call their own...beautiful bedrooms, an amazing back porch, and a comfy living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you could want to whip up delicious meals. If you dont want to cook, there are plenty of options for eating out. Lets talk beaches! The best sunset beach on the island is less than a mile from the house! The best sunrise beach is also just down the road. We built a fire on the beach our last night, which was amazing. The owners really go that extra mile to make their home your home away from home. Oh, and they have a wine fridge...yep, its a great place to spend a relaxing, fun filled week! So much to do and see on Seabrook Island and this is the perfect house to use as homebase!

Never again!

This home is in need of serious maintenance and updates. The foundation has issues causing wavy floors and foundation cracks. The home needs a deep cleaning; cobwebs, dead bugs behind the bathtub, outdoor cushions and rug covered in mold (lizards), fingerprints on glass surfaces, etc. It also had poor sheets that felt like sandpaper, few if any supplies, no cleaning products, unusable rusted pans, and we arrived to a broken window barely covered for safety (never got fixed in our one month stay). It does have cute-peachy decor and the island is beautiful.

We won't be back.

Having spent a month on Seabrook Island every year since 1996, this was not at all what we anticipated. From the fruit fly infestation we encountered upon our arrival, for which we were told we would have to wash all surfaces with soap, to the poor gass cooktop, the nonexistent firepit (there was a firetable for which we had to ask for propane as there was none), the mildewed patio furniture and soaked and slippery patio rug, moldy master bath ceiling, clearly compromised floor in kitchen, and this is just the beginning. The photos show a fireplace. There is a note attached saying guests are not to use it. The battery on the key pad died leaving us stuck outside waiting for help while our groceries melted. All batteries for remotes needed to be replaced. During a rain a branch fell from a tree damaging our car. Customer service was problematic depending upon who you spoke to. In retrospect, we should have asked for our money back. We are returning to SI...and using VRBO.

Dirty and needs Floors fixed

I did enjoy the location. But the home was dirty. Hair in the shower drain. Home smelled like smoke as did the sheets and bath towels. Blood stains and dirt on bed and sitting area at the end of the bed and couch dirty. Floors are sinking or damaged.

A Beautiful Get Away

This house was super cute & just what my partner and I needed. We did a quick little week get away to change up the scenery as we both work from home, and this house was such a perfect fit! We were both able to work easily- one upstairs & one downstairs- without issues. The natural lighting in the house was awesome, the kitchen was well stocked and the master bedroom was SO comfortable! We were able to rent bikes & kayaks and spend our evenings before it was dark biking around the island, and kayaking on the weekends (we saw so many dolphins!). It was awesome being able to use this house as a little hub for the week. Would totally go back!

Home needs more work

The place has apparently been refurbished and decorated nicely, but the structure of the home is questionable. The floor was covered in laminate and is unstable, rugs cover up imperfections and give too much. Cracks in the walls and the beam in the master bedroom. Back deck stairs were broken and blocked. No basic starter supplies.

Cheap furniture and rugs

The pictures I rented from have to be over 10 years old. Furniture is cheap and warn. Stove you cannot adjust gas flame. Very cheap. Rugs are terrible and cheap. No salt and pepper shakers no kitchen soap or dish rags. Only one garbage bag given. Had. To buy a bunch of stuff. No cable tv just Netflix. Beds were old . Rent should be half of what we paid. Would never rent this again

Enjoyed this house!

We rented this home for a summer beach week and it filled all of our needs and is nicely renovated and tastefully decorated. Small things could be improved (fan in upstairs bathroom is REALLY loud), two of us hurt our barefeet on nail sticking up from laminate flooring.

Unique Layout

Overall, the home is in a great location on Seabrook Island. It was clean and well appointed. What we didn’t care for was that the upstairs bunk area had no blinds on the windows and was extremely warm due to the lack of AC vents in the room. Both of these items made it difficult for our kids to sleep.

Lovely Beach Getaway

We just rented this home last week. It was a beautiful home and property, very quiet, and incredibly clean at check in. Property management was responsive. The kitchen was very well equipped. The master bedroom mattress could probably stand to be replaced - my husband and I both thought it was incredibly uncomfortable (and typically totally disagree on mattresses)! Our only major gripe was regarding window coverings. The bunk room on the main floor has a huge skylight shining directly at whoever is sleeping in there. The upstairs sleeping loft also has no window coverings. So, if you have a small child who goes to bed before sunset, anybody who naps, or, frankly, anybody that doesn't want to be woken early, it sucks. (We had a toddler with us and had to tape garbage bags up.) While the view to the backyard and golf course is lovely, the family room curtains are lackluster. Golfers were often in the yard looking for their balls and landscapers were also in the yard AND on the deck... so, that's is a little uncomfortable if you want some privacy when needed. Otherwise, a wonderful vacation home!
