Perfect home for a family of 10

Our family was in town visiting extended family. This was the perfect place for what we needed. Huge bonus dogs were allowed to stay!

The overall stay was pleasant and the house had everything we needed. However the house would have been so much better with a top to bottom cleaning of kitchen appliances and cookware, windowsills and clutter. It would also feel cleaner with a much needed interior paint job. Communication was great.

Wonderful family weekend trip

Beautiful home with excellent lake sunsets

The owners are very accomodating and awesome! We booked this rental for our daughters wedding. The home had ample space for the kids and adults to enjoy. Everyone enjoyed spending time on.the dock and watching sunrise and sunsets over beautiful Lake Waccamaw. The kitchen had ample amenities for cooking meals. It was nice to enjoy family meals around the table. There are a few restaurants in town. We loved Angelina's! Very relaxing and we look forward to visiting again.

The Mill House

Time spent at the Mill House is a welcome respite from the noise and business of everyday life. The quiet mornings and spectacular sunsets are just what my family needed. We look forward to our next visit.

Whiteville VBS

7 of us stayed for 5 days. It worked perfectly for us. Room to enjoy quiet time by oneself and a comfortable place to gather for group time. Table for 8 to eat together. Beautiful location with two story pier on the lake. Kitchen is adequate but a bit small. 4 comfortable bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Family Vacation.

This property was in a good location with a private pier on Lake Waccamaw. We had visited back in 2006 and wanted to get family back together again at the same house. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mill House. The home was so comfortable and cozy. A great lakeside spot with a wonderful view. Everything was provided and we had great communication with the owners throughout the booking process and during our stay. We will definitely book again the next time we're in the area! :)

Property is as beautiful as the first trip last year.we decided we wanted to end our trip taking with all my husband's family lol in the same place we started out. the .house was spacious as was first trip with 13.

Memories For A Lifetime

This property and owners are fabulous. We were able to make memories with a 5 and 8 year old as we did when growing up going to the lake. The lake is perfect for this age. Cannot wait to visit this property again.

Mill House June 2021

Church group of 5 youth, 4 adults on mission trip. Mill House was a great location/rally point; relaxing and comfortable. We hope to get it again when we go back next year.

My Family and I Enjoyed Our Stay!

Our group of 5 adults and 3 young kids enjoyed our stay at the Mill House. This house itself is charming. Like, old quirky house charming. Some of the doors don’t quite shut all the way, the upstairs bathroom is small, and the outlets are hard to find. Things we loved: There’s plenty of space. We used all 5 bedrooms and everyone was comfortable. The location is wonderful. Our 5 and 3 year olds spent every free minute swimming in the lake, which was very shallow and sandy. This allowed our young children (that have not learned to swim yet) a ton of space to feel safe and explore in the water because they could just walk around in it. We brought a boat and we were able to catch some bass and perch on the lake. Constructive criticism: a majority of the kitchen stuff needs replaced. The Teflon skillets’ coatings are flaking off and there are larger spoons that are rusting. The kitchen is TIGHT and not ideal for cooking meals for a large group. We only found two small cookie sheets, which made breakfast (we do bacon and sausage and biscuits/cinnamon rolls) a bit challenging for our big group. There were ants inside the house in a few locations. While the naturally shallow water was something my children loved, it was difficult to keep the boat secure and to get in and out of the boat. Some of this is due to the water being down at the time of our stay but keep this in mind if bringing a boat.

Nice place to recharge

I think this was is the perfect place to relax and recharge. The owners were great and easy going. I wish the road wasn't so close to the house, found it challenging with the grandbabies.
