I decided that I would get together with my cousins and rent. I could not have been more pleased. The views were amazing. The unit was stocked with towels, pots and pans, two types of coffee makers and more! We are talking about doing it again when the weather warms up!
The property was amazing for a large group of people , many areas to get away from others whe needing some space , great for kids and adults alike . Dock was nice for hanging out with a sunning and shady area
The view at this house is breathtaking!! The property owner was very responsive and able to answer my questions. During our Christmas stay, the house was even decorated! Decorations were absolutely stunning! This place has everything you need for a wonderful stay.
The house was very spacious! The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, and utensils for cooking. The beds were super comfortable! Our favorite part of the stay was the pier with the diving board and shaded sitting area. Adults enjoyed the view while the grandkids jumped from the pier. One family member went just a few minutes to the RTJ golf course to play in the mornings. Super place and super host! Hope to come back next year!
This house had breathtaking views. It was a beautiful house with enough space for everyone in our party to relax or snjoy our time together. The property manager was prompt in replies. The house could use some deep cleaning but smelled clean. Id definitely rent here again.
Home was located 20 min easy drive to the landing. Had truck and trailer for one maybe two bass rigs. View was amazing. The wives and kids that stayed back utilized the boat house for swimming and taning. Could have been a little cleaner but still a great stay.
The good: This is POTENTIALLY a fabulous property. Location is great, online photos accurately show the views of the lake - spectacular. House is large, plenty of rooms with seating for hanging out separately or together. Huge primary BR, four BRs downstairs. Kitchen has large island, DR table w/seating for 6-8, nice pantry. Large laundry w/W/D, iron, ironing board. Plenty of hot water. The owner was very responsive to all questions. WiFi was good.
The bad: If you plan to cook, bring your own pots and pans! Cookware was terrible. Not a decent pot/pan/skillet in the kitchen. A real challenge to prepare a meal for ten people. Sufficient dishes for eating. There were a couple of dirty hot pads and ONE dish towel, no dish cloths. Inexplicable since there were plenty of bath towels/hand towels/linens. Also, there is an alarm that “dings” in the primary BR every time any of the exterior doors are opened, so when someone in the group goes out early, the inhabitants in the primary BR get woken up because of the “ding”. 3 car garage, but parking is very tight if you have more than a couple of vehicles. We had four vehicles, and we put one in the garage, three outside. It was a little challenging to move the vehicles around (the driveway slopes down). Cable TV, but absolutely no information on channels available or how any of the four remotes function. Gas fireplace but no instructions on how to turn it on. Downstairs, there is a foosball table, but several of the men were broken so it wasn’t really usable. There is also a ping pong table, but it is warped and cracked. Downstairs 2BRs on each side, bath between. Baths not accessible from BRs; must leave BR and go out to main room to access.
The ugly: This beautiful home badly needs a thorough cleaning. The inside was okay - not pristine, but clean enough and about standard for rentals. The outside is another story entirely…the house needs pressure washing, as does the dock (the double decker dock is great, although it was too rainy/chilly for us to use). Most windows need to be replaced - foggy, weatherstripping pulled out…and COBWEBS everywhere. The cobwebs in the kitchen window are so large they are actually small ropes. The outside is absolutely filthy; doesn’t make sense since the house is such a nice place.
Summary: great location (grocery store, dollar store, 7-8 mins. away, RTJ golf course around the corner). Quiet, private, lots of space. Could be a 5-star place if failures were addressed.
Had a guys golf trip at RTJ Shoals and this place didn’t disappoint. Rafi was very responsive. Ideal spot for golf, beautiful views from house and dock. Plenty of space for our 8, and could have easily slept 8 more!!!
Our friends and family enjoyed our time together on Wilson Lake. We loved hanging out on the boat dock during the day and making fires at night. Unfortunately, the house was dirty and neglected. There were cobwebs inside the house, crumbles of food in the kitchen drawers, dirt on the bathroom floors, and the carpets had stains on them. The dishwasher was falling out, the electricity on the dock wasn’t working, bathtubs were clogged, and there was a cracked window in the front of the house.
We had a group of eight friends who stayed here for ShoalsFest 2022. It was a fantastic weekend. We loved having a “landing place” and this house was perfect for that. We’re hoping to come back to town for ShoalsFest next year and would be happy to stay here again, if we can!
This was a very nice house and great property, great for a large group! Overall, it needs some cleaning and TLC. We would recommend bringing most anything you need including kitchen supplies and utensils/trash bags/dishwasher detergent/dish soap/cleaning spray/etc. as many things were missing or quite dirty. The dock was awesome, but again, covered in spiders and could just use a good pressure washing.
This house is beautiful and well maintained. The access to the lake is perfect. The owner does a great job communicating and coordinating the details.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Lots of potential, but needs attention.
The property is beautiful and ideal for a large group. However, it’s clearly in need of a MAJOR deep clean and thorough check of all appliances and fixtures as there are many needed repairs. It appears the bare minimum has been done in terms of cleaning and maintenance on the interior, exterior, and dock. It’s unfortunate, because it really is a beautiful property but due to the lack of upkeep, some amenities were unable to even be utilized.
We had some issues with the refrigerator not working in which the property manager assisted and a handyman got out the next afternoon, our boat got stuck on the boat lift but we eventually figured out how to fix it ourselves. Other than those 2 main issues it was a great place and our family had a wonderful time.
This home is perfect for a family week of relaxation. The property is beautiful. The dock is perfect for swimming, fishing and reading a book. There is a ton of space for even a large family to spread out. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, the downstairs is the perfect place for kids to hang out. The owner is very responsive and always helpful. We will absolutely stay here again.
Great view from this awesome lake house. My family really enjoyed the dock and upper deck.
Our family had a wonderful time swimming and boating on beautiful Wilson Lake. The house fit our family of 10 comfortably. The kitchen definitely needs some baking pans, large frying pans, coffee mugs and silverware to accommodate guests that enjoy cooking.
