Beautiful property and views.
Unfortunately we were stuck with our week during the uncontrolled wildfire. The owner was not very timely with responding to our questions (up to 3 days for an answer sometimes) when we had lots of concerns around the fire, the facilities, the town, the air quality, etc. Even though the booking was non refundable it would have been nice for her to show some empathy/understanding of our situation and offer us a refund or other options as all the hotels were providing this. Additionally we were reading about the Osoyoos mayor asking people to stay away! The owner did not seem to show any concerns around this. We had spent so much money for the rental. We did enjoy the place but we were stuck inside for 3 full days when the air was too thick with smoke to do anything. Sadly the air was the clearest on our chekout day. Oh well!
