About this property

80m2 duplex completely renovated in April 2015 offering all the comfort for 2 families or friends. Living room with beautiful volume opening onto a large balcony with view of the Mont-Blanc massif. The 3 bedrooms are equipped with new bedding: 1 bed 160, 3 beds 140 and 2 beds 90. We have thought of families with small children and we provide a cot, a baby bath and a high chair for meals. Linen (bed linen, towels and kitchen towels) is provided for the duration of your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, induction hob, fridge-freezer, raclette, waffle iron, toaster, Nespresso and a water kettle).
Multimedia side, you will find in the living room: a Bluetooth audio system, WIFI to connect to the internet, a TV offering TNT programs via the Box which also allows you to broadcast your movies on USB keys.
Outside, a box allows you to park a car and other free parking spaces are located near the residence.
Nature is omnipresent and the city center is only 15 minutes away on foot. We are located in a quiet area with little traffic. In winter the ski slopes are accessible by bus and train (station 200m). From spring, the Gaillands lake (10 min by foot) offers outdoor activities such as rock climbing, tree climbing and ballad paths.
The Scandinave Chamonix Refuge will be the ideal place to enjoy the goods made from the mountains in summer and winter.

superbe appartement

inutile de passer des heures à chercher un appartement à Chamonix.....il suffit de louer celui là et de penser aux activités de Chamonix!! propre, confortable, au calme,bien équipé, bref, tout est parfait et en plus, très proche du centre ville qui est à quelques minutes à pied. La pièce dortoir est très pratique. Le propriétaire est facilement joignable et très proche de ses locataires François

Fantastic Property, great location, wouldn't hesitate to book this again.

We had a long skiing weekend here in early March 2018. Our flight landed late but the owner arranged for someone to meet us (which was outside of the advertised hours). The property is warm and comfortable with a great area to relax and a large dining table as well as a balcony with seating with stunning views across the Mont Blanc region (we even sat out there in the cold!). Every bed had good quality linen and was really comfy. We were 5 mins walk from the bus route which had ski areas in either direction and to walk into Chamonix would take roughly 10 mins. There is a lovely friendly hotel called the Chaumiere Lodge where you can get a great breakfast for 10 euros which is literally across the road. The owner was quick to reply to emails and texts and was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and may even return if we ski in this area again.

Really enjoyed our stay

Great apartment with all the essentials. Fantastic view of the mountains from the balcony. Short walk in to shops and restaurants in Chamonix, and not too far from the ski lifts. Had a great time here!

Fantastic base for UTMB training and racing

+ Attentive, considerate owner + Quiet spot, but only 10 minutes walk along a quiet lane from the town centre + Well equipped kitchen, large fridge freezer, so cooking/dining at apartment perfectly possible + Washing machine and dryer in the dorm room work, well! + High ceilings makes the main space feel large and open, especially given it leads onto the balcony (lunches there most days!)

Perfect location, great views, and spacious accommodation

We had a great time in Jacques' place in the Les Bossons area of Chamonix. Less than a mile walk to the heart of the city, and even less to some hidden delights like L'Impossible restaurant and Jekyll & Hyde bar. There's a lovely lake within a few minutes walk, and easy access to the train and bus. The location is great for those who want more affordable or spacious accommodations and don't want the noise of the town centre. The apartment itself is at the top of a fairly long flight of stairs - with no elevator - so bear this in mind only if you are travelling with old or less able people. Otherwise it's not an issue. The accommodations were perfect, with everything needed for self-catering and plenty of bedding and towels for a large group. The balcony was a really pleasant place to watch the world go by with a glass of wine (or to watch the thunder and lightning over the mountains!). You typically don't get much space when you rent a place in a ski town, but this was plenty spacious for a large group. The one bathroom and and shower would cause difficulty for a group of more than 4 I would imagine. I would definitely recommend Jacques' place to anyone visiting this beautiful area.

Idéal pour réussir le Marathon du Mont Blanc

Venant de Belgique pour participer au Marathon du Mont Blanc, j'avais réservé cet appartement pour 7 personnes avec ma petite famille. Très propre, très complet, il ne manquait rien. Très bien situé (10 minutes du centre) avec une magnifique vue. Nous avons passé un super séjour et au bout du compte 8h13 de pur bonheur sur le marathon. Un grand merci et au plaisir de revenir. We had a great stay at the Le Scandinave Refuge Chamonix. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Nice kitchen for cooking. Great deck with views of the alps and town. The bedrooms were nice and the beds and linens very comfortable. Easy walk to downtown, Chamonix Sud terminal and the Aiguille du Midi tram. And Jacques was incredibly helpful! Very accessible and very accommodating and helpful with advice. Very flexible for check in/out. We had a great trip and Jacques definitely was part of that. Would definitely recommend to friends! Very nice and modern apartment with everything you can wish.

We were a group of 6 staying in Jacques flat for one week. The flat was very clean and cosy and furthermore, it was equipped with all necessary things you can wish. Jacques was very helpful both before and during our trip. It was easy to go to the slopas via the train or the bus (approximately 200 meter walk from the flat). Will definitely go back when we have the opportunity!

Très agréable séjour dans un charmant appartement très bien équipé

Nous venons de passer une semaine de vacances de Noël dans ce charmant appartement très bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût par le propriétaire. Le logement est conforme aux photos, Le mobilier est de qualité, notamment le couchage ( nous avons très bien dormi) L'appartement n'est pas bruyant, juste le petit train qui passe de temps en temps, et ce n'est pas désagréable du tout.. Le centre de Chamonix est à 10 minutes à pieds, nous l'avons fait sans problème avec une poussette. Un peu de marche fait du bien surtout en période de fêtes.... Nous avons été très très bien accueillis et nous recommandons cette location. Une chambre dortoir est impeccable pour les enfants Chamonix est une jolie ville très animée et malgré le peu de neige en cette période, nous avons pu skier aux Contamines..et dans un grand ciel bleu voir le ballet des parapentes..splendide! Un grand merci à Monsieur Michel famille Le Hay Séjour du 19 au 26 décembre 2015

Very modern, very cozy and clean

This apartment is very modern -- beautiful kitchen, comfortable living room, cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds and bedding. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, emailing recommendations for places to eat and things to do. One note: the kids' bedroom/bunkroom is connected to the main apartment by a private walkway. One of our children was a bit too small to be comfortable sleeping far from his parents.

Excellent!

We are a family of 5 and stayed at the apartment for 2 weeks. The apartment is very clean and tidy, comfortable and spacious. The owner is very welcoming and provided all the information we need and more and was readily available for any request (even suggested to show us around Chamonix). The apartment is well equipped with all that is needed. We will definitely be happy to stay again in the future. We had great 2 weeks there. Very recommended.
