Really nice place to stay for a beach holiday

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful place for 2 weeks during summer holidays as a family with 2 kids - especially the amazing and huge garden (our 2 year old called it "forest"). The house had all the conveniences we needed and was cosy and comfortable and spacious for us. Contact with the owner was nice and easy, despite the language barrier and everything was clean. We got used to the sounds of the cars from the (very near high-speed) road very quickly and it did not bother us too much. We also really liked the fact that it was just a 10 minute car drive through the forest to get to the nearest beach. Thanks for the beautiful summer holiday we had there as a family and we will come back : )

Charmantes Haus

Sehr schönes, der lokalen Bauweise entsprechendes, Haus mit riesigem Garten. Die Straße, die direkt am Grundstück vorbei führt, hört man natürlich schon, da dies aber in der Beschreibung angegeben war, war das für uns in Ordnung. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und störte sich auch nicht daran, dass wir bei der Anreise verspätet ankamen. Beim Fernsehprogramm haben wir keinen deutschen Sender empfangen können, aber das haben wir nicht sehr vermisst. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem großen Alleinstehenden Haus nahe am Meer

Das große Haus war an einem Pinienwald schön alleinstehend gelegen , die Straße daneben war natürlich schon manchmal zu hören, hat uns aber nicht besonders gestört. Der Garten des Hauses war riesig und sehr schön. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war einfach, aber es war alles notwendige vorhanden. Die Vermieter waren äußerst freundlich und es hat unkompliziert geklappt. Das Haus liegt nahe am Meer mit den wunderschönen Stränden, jedoch hatten wir unser Auto schon gebraucht um dorthin zu kommen, da es auf der großen Straße schwierig war, mit den Fahrrädern hinzukommen. Einen sehr guten Bäcker gab es in Hourtin. Hervorragendes Obst/ Gemüse/ Käse und Fleisch gab es auch bei dem Bauern ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt an der Straße Richtung Hourtin. Wir genossen die Zeit am Meer mit den wilden Wellen des Atlantik und mit Ausflügen in die Weinberge ( Medoc) sehr und kommen bestimmt mal wieder!

Einfache Unterkunft

Wir haben als Familie mit zwei Kindern 14 Tage in dem Objekt gebucht. Dass das Objekt an einer Hauptstraße liegt, war uns bekannt und die Eigentümer wiesen hierauf auch explizit im Vorfeld hin. Dennoch waren wir enttäuscht von dem Lärm, da die Autos und LKWs auf dieser Straße mit 100 km/h fahren. Auch die Terrasse ist in Richtung Straße ausgerichtet und die Pinien halten nur wenig Lärm ab. Außerdem kann das Haus auch ausschließlich über diese Hauptstraße verlassen werden. Unserer Fahrräder hatten wir also umsonst mitgebracht. Ungewöhnlich fanden wir, dass neben der Buchung über Fewo-direkt die Eigentümer einen zusätzlichen privaten, französischen Vertrag aufsetzten und eine penibel aufgelistet Inventarliste führen. Die Gastgeberin hat uns nett empfangen und am Tag unserer Ankunft trotz unserer Verspätung auf uns gewartet. Positiv hervorzuheben ist außerdem eine gut ausgestattete Küche (Teller, Gläser, Pfannen. Usw.) und die zur Nutzung zur Verfügung stehenden Body Boards. Dennoch ist das Haus für deutsche Verhältnisse sehr einfach eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Insbesondere bei Regentagen, die wir leider hatten, macht sich das natürlich bemerkbar. Auch litten wir extrem unter Moskitos, sodass eine ruhige Nacht kaum möglich war und wir bereits am ersten Tag komplett zerstochen waren. Fliegengitter gibt es an den Fenstern keine und regelmäßiges lüften ist notwendig, da es im Haus eh schon sehr feucht ist. Somit kommen natürlich immer wieder neue Mücken ins Haus. Drei Tage vor unserer Abreise kam dann noch hinzu, dass sich eine Maus oder womöglich auch eine Ratte in der Zwischendecke des Hauses befand. Diese kam zwar nicht in den Wohnraum, sondern ist vermutlich von außen in die Zwischendecke geraten, aber sie hat uns komplett um unseren Schlaf gebracht. Wir sind daher auf Grund der verschiedenen Umstände (Wetter, Ungeziefer, Moskitos, Hauptstraße, etc.) 3 Tage früher abgereist. Die Gastgeber haben diese 3 Tage nicht erstattet. Stattdessen wurde uns vorgeworfen wir hätten die Waschmaschine, einen Plastiktisch und einen Plastik Klopapierhalter beschädigt - hier prallen zwei verschiedene Welten und Wahrnehmungen aufeinander! Anderen Gästen hat es zuvor ja anscheinend gefallen, aber wir müssen für uns nach diesem Urlaub eher eine negative Bilanz ziehen und sind auch enttäuscht von dieser Art von Gastfreundschaft.

Great holiday!

We had a great holiday; everything was exactly as imagined! The location was perfect for us, we were looking for a quiet place to relax but at the same time we were close enough to the beach, lake, and next village. We very much enjoyed the massive garden and spent a lot of our time outside. We would love to visit again!

Hübsch eingerichtetes Haus mit riesigem Garten

Mit viel Liebe wurde dieses Haus renoviert und pflegeleicht eingerichtet. Es steht in einem natürlichen Garten umgeben von vielen Eichen und Pinien. Ein herrlicher Ort zum Erholen. Der Standort ist ideal: Je 15 Autominuten entfernt vom grössten Süsswassersee Frankreichs (mit Sandstrand, Segel- und Windsurfmöglichkeiten) und dem weiten Atlantikstrand mit Surfmöglichkeiten. Die Nähe zur Strasse empfanden wir nicht als störend. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich im nächsten Dorf. Die Besitzer haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wegen unserer Verspätung gleich mit einem Abendessen beschenkt. Sie haben alle unsere Fragen beantwortet und uns viele Tipps gegeben. Wir können dieses Haus sehr empfehlen.

Une propriété très agreable

Une maison de plain pied simple mais très agréable,lumineuse et très fonctionnelle au sein d'en vaste jardin boisé dont nous avons profité tous les soirs après la plage. Le seul petit point négatif est sa localisation sur une route très passante mais que l'on oublie facilement une fois sous les pins. Accueil à la fois chaleureux et discret. Merci pour cette belle semaine.

Une maison parfaite pour une grande famille/A perfect house for a big family

Il y a beaucoup de place à l'interieur pour six personnes. Le mobilier est simple, mais effective. Il ne manque de rien dans cette maison. Le gardin est super grand avec des abres et une terasse au soleil. La propriétaire est très gentille et était toujours à notre disposition avant notre arrivée. Nous avons passé des vacances très agréable à Naujac-sur-Mer. There is enough space for six persons. The furnishings are simple, but effective. I didn't miss anything in this house. There's big garden with a lot of trees and a terasse with sun at noon and in the afternoon. The landlord is very friendly and answered quickly to all our questions before our arrival. We had a very nice stay in Naujac-sur-Mer.

Très belle prestation générale

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette maison en parfait état, parfaitement propre et entretenue avec un équipement ultra complet. Seul point délicat, la proximité de la route, très passante en cette période estivale. Heureusement, le très grand terrain nous a permis de nous isoler derrière un bosquet et prendre tout de même nos repas en extérieur. Les 2 plages (surveillées) proches et beaucoup d'activités ludiques dans les environs (accro branches, festival de musique, fête foraine, restaurants), nous ont permis de passer un très agréable et très actif séjour. Attention, voiture obligatoire pour cette location.
