Featuring an open-style layout, this large 1 bedroom studio offers a full-size private balcony with amazing views of both the Gulf and the Bay. Our soothing coastal colors décor will make you feel relaxed and offer a retreat from the world. Soak in the beautiful sunrise and salty breeze. This condo's sleeping area has a queen size bed with 50-inch flat screen TV. The bathroom has a luxurious deep soak garden tub and separate shower. The family area has a queen size sofa sleeper with a 50-inch flat screen TV and opens to your furnished private balcony. The kitchen features a refrigerator, 2 burner range, dishwasher, overhead microwave, coffee maker, and blender. *Free wireless internet provided*

The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort offers the best of the Island! Bring your boat and park it in a slip on the Bay side of the Resort. Soak in the 5000 sq. Ft. Gulfside pool, float in the 700-foot Lazy River, or just relax on the white sandy beaches. Enjoy the fitness suite, heated pools and hot tubs, and use the skybridge for easy access to both sides of the resort. Destin West is walking distance to so many great attractions. The Boardwalk and fishing pier, Island Time, The Gulfarium, and The Island are all a short walk from the Resort. Getaway

We just had a small getaway. The place looked just like the pictures. It was very nice. The only thing I have to complain about is the pillows weren’t very comfortable. I’d bring my own next time. And for some reason we couldn’t figure out the tv the first night. We were outside most the time and I don’t watch tv much anyway. But the last night the tv worked. Otherwise it was perfect

Mother Daughter weekend

I rented this unit for me and my grown daughter to enjoy a fun/relaxing vacation. The check in and check out was very easy and the communication was great. The unit was very clean. The shower needs to be updated, but outside of that the unit was perfect. The furniture was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We were in walking distance to the boardwalk where we visited every night. The pools, lazy river and beach were easily accessible. The two included chairs and umbrella were wonderful. We would certainly stay again.

We had 2 teenage boys and that was absolutely not a queen sized pull out. They were actually looking forward to going home so they weren't scrunched up all night together. Otherwise a fantastic stay!

Great location for a beach getaway

We really enjoyed the amenities at the property. The spas, pools, and lazy river were a great addition to the day after enjoying time in the sand and sun on the gulf side. Having beach service included with our room was a huge cost savings for our trip. An added bonus: There are many restaurants within walking distance. A great place to stay when visiting.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I did not receive the email and had to request it again. We were given the wrong check in code and room number via text and walked into the wrong room; which was embarrassing. I’ve had breast cancer and I was exhausted. We cleaned the room and could find ZERO help during our stay (the office had the lights out during the day as they didn’t seem to want to be bothered. The maids asked for our food and I bagged up all trash and had to carry it because there were no carts anywhere. They were very rude as I was sick from chemo and trying to get this all out without a cart. They told me to leave they bracelets in the bathroom which I did. I do not feel that they were honest ; not to mention this was not a separate bedroom and the room was covered in sand upon arrival. I love air b and b, but Sugar Sands was a huge disappointment. I just received a message that the bracelets were not in the room. 1st of all we had 3 bracelets and why would we want them... They said toLeave in the bathroom which I did and even though I felt bad I even pulled all the trash, laundry (and our sheets were not clean on the pull out). Not to mention giving food that they asked for us to leave. I was extremely disappointed and they were no help in finding a cart. They said there were non. I must have met 5 families that felt they had been deceived as well .

We love Destin West and this trip was no exception! The room was nice and as expected. We enjoyed the beach, pools, Bayside pier! We even caught a few fish!

Clean, well located

Condo was as described. Only complaint was the bed and pillows was very uncomfortable. We should have thought to bring our own but rushed out. Company was good to work with and was very clean.

Checked in at 12 am after a 7 hour drive to a room different than expected. Rat poop on the floor in the morning, chew holes on our bag food. Zero room care for a 6 day stay. Took 3 days for someone to pick up trash bag outside the room.
