Casa De Colores - Cleaned using best CDC practices. Comfortable, bright, spacious, and contemporary two bedroom, two bathroom condo that sleeps six. Fabulous hot tub for four to six. Original art framed by colorful walls sets the stage for your getaway. Casa De Colores is located between Taos Ski Valley and historic Taos - just minutes either way. There are great restaurants within walking distance - Medley is our favorite. Features include a private courtyard, covered parking, dramatic views, end unit, ground floor, quiet street, well equipped kitchen, radiant floor heat. Master bedroom features queen bed and en suite bathroom. Second bedroom features two twin beds plus an Ikea sofa that opens into a full mattress. Second bedroom has a digital television with internet access (no cable or satellite). Wifi is fast and reliable (for Taos). Second bathroom has European shower. Nordic Crown II hot tub in courtyard. This may end up being your happy place.

Room for improvements.

Walk in shower needs caddy for shampoo and other items. Bedrooms coulld use chest of drawers for clothing. Better lighting in master bedroom. A larger frying pan. Everything else was fine. Thank you. 😊 .

Absolutely wonderful!

I’ve rented several ‘casas’ during my many years of skiing at Taos Ski Valley. This one is my favorite. Very comfortable and spacious… Nice and warm, due to the radiant floor heat and sun-filled living area. The hot tub and covered parking were a much appreciated bonus! Hopefully, I’ll be returning next season!

One of Our Most Fav Mt Stays

What a deal this cozy condo was for our family! Between two bathrooms, separate beds in the extra bedroom, heated floors, covered parking, and a hot tub, this was a perfect base camp for our family ski adventures. Less than a hour away from Taos, Red River, Angel Fire, and Sipapu, we were able to go play on all 4 mountains and then come back to soak in the hot tub and eat a yummy dinner either cooked in the equipped kitchen or a close, convenient restaurant in Taos. There was ample space for all 4 of us in the condo, and we enjoyed our week immensely! Thanks for sharing your space with our family!

We really enjoyed this property. It is actually larger than it looks online. Wonderful backyard area with terrific mountain views. Perfect for coffee in the morning and cocktails before dinner.

Ever had a family trip go bad because of the booking? This place made our family ski trip, one of the most WONDERFUL times we have had! The layout is great for the 4 adults and 2 grandsons. Loved the fully stocked, gas stove kitchen! Shannon has you loaded down with games to play too! As if the majestic mountain scenery wasn't enough, Shannon has her gorgeous paintings decorating each room. Having a washer/dryer makes any trip more enjoyable but bottom line, comfortable and peaceful were unexpected bonuses. Loved our stay ~ look forward to next year! Thank you Shannon for sharing your special place.

The place and area were amazing. When we arrived there was a gift card for ice cream! The condo was immaculate. The location had beautiful mountain views and was still convenient to Taos and Arroyo Seco.

Active, arty, happily married with two college age children who love Taos. I grew up in New Mexico and moved away for many years. We moved back to New Mexico to raise our children and embed in them a sense of wonder and a love for the mountains that Taos gifts us. Interests include: downhill skiing and snowboarding, painting, hiking, swimming, and traveling.

Why they chose this property

We married in Taos many years ago and moved away for school, jobs, etc. We have found our way back to lovely and majestic Taos. We saw Casa De Colores about seven years ago and dreamed that someday we might be able to live the dream and own this property. Well, opportunity knocked and we opened the door. It really is a dream come true.
