We are a middle aged couple with no children or pets. We are friendly and are happy to see you (if we do) and say hello! Your privacy and peace will not be disturbed… However we are available by text or call for any of your needs. We are confident you will have a wonderful stay!

*-NOTE for the Elderly: There are some stone steps along the path to the apartment that must be navigated. Also due to weather effect the stone patio by the front door can get a bit uneven so please watch your step. See pic.

Tons of shopping and eating within 5 mins, Briargate, and other areas are a 5 - 15 drive and offer everything you could possibly need.

Colorado Springs is beautiful and very well laid out. You can get pretty much anywhere of major interest in or under 15-20 min.

Pikes Peak Pleasure

I Loved this VRBO because they had a shoes off policy which makes it feel extra clean! Shoes are dirty and makes any place feel unclean so that was a definite positive for me!! It’s super cozy and bed and pillows comfy! Kitchen well stocked. This was perfect for our needs.

Highly recommend!

Perfect location, great views, wonderful amenities and accommodations. The place was super clean, beds were comfy, and response time from owner was quick (when we needed it). All of the comforts of home to make your time away as great as possible!

Colorado experience

Cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. Mule deer outside the house and also saw different birds and a black squirrel. Very close to everything we visited. Would certainly recommend.

Better than a hotel

Everything felt comfortable. We had privacy. Curb parking is a pain for those getting out on the curb side. Bring your own coffee and hair dryer.

Graduation trip

Our youngest daughter and oldest granddaughter graduated and wanted to visit Focus in the Family and some of the other attractions located in Colorado Springs. This property was perfectly located to everything we wanted to see. I loved that it was in a residential neighborhood, this made us feel like we were actually at home. We felt safe and the views were terrific. Our host were on property and were very helpful. Shane even gave me a jump one morning when I left the lights on in our truck. The bed was better than my own, everything was clean and there were no unpleasant surprises to this listing. The house is very well furnished, the area Was extremely quiet and peaceful, and our stay was terrific. Will definitely put this place on my list of things to do again.

Perfect!

The property was beautiful and in an excellent location just minutes away from many of the places we wanted to see. Garden of the Gods was my favorite and VERY close by and my husband, and myself, really enjoyed the Flying W Ranch Chuck Wagon dinner and show and it's literally, right around the corner. Marianna offered some great suggestions of places to eat when I asked her what some of their favorites were. The weather was not the most favorable while there, but despite the rain, Colorado was still as beautiful as it was 40 years ago when this flatland Florida girl first visited. We were in town for a wedding so it was a bit of a short stay but I would certainly stay here again on my next visit to Colorado Springs. Five star accomodations and hospitality!

Quiet get away in the Garden of the Gods

Nice hidden find on the west side of Colorado Springs. Near many if not all the attractions in the area (less than 15 min drive to everything). The owners live upstairs in the main house. The rental is a converted basement that opens up on one side to a beautiful wildflower backyard with occasional wildlife (mule deer for us). Stayed 7 nights and had zero issues with the place. Never heard the neighbors. Only issues may be the parking if you prefer not to park on the street. May not be suitable for disabled persons. Several incline changes with uneven rock stairs can challenge even the sure footed especial if carrying your luggage. Overall, amazingly quiet stay, beds where perfect and amenities are as stated. I would rent again if I’m the area.

Perfect Location for Accessing Garden of the Gods

My husband and I had a last minute work trip, so we decided to extend our stay to visit with family and take in some hiking. This basement apartment fit the bill. Colorado is in a heat wave right now, and the air conditioning was fabulous. The living room area made for wonderful seating to visit with family, and the kitchen was nicely stocked with basic supplies. The coffee maker was broken, so my husband texted the owners, and Mariana bought a brand new one and delivered it to us that same day. We were also so glad to discover a small room fan in one of the bedrooms. We don't sleep well without air movement, so this fan was greatly appreciated. The neighborhood is quiet as are the hosts who live above the apartment. Hubby and I agree that we would definitely come back. Oh, one more thing. I forgot to log out of my Prime account when we left. I texted our hosts, and they went down to verify all was properly logged out before the next set of guests arrived. That was the icing on the cake! We were very appreciative of that.

Felt Like Home!

If you want to feel like you are staying with family, stay here! Mariana texted us on our way into town to alert us to a Winter Storm Advisory in OCTOBER! She and Shane literally met us outside at 9:30pm to make sure we got in ok! The next morning, she texted to let us know there were deer right out our back window (something we do not see in Indiana!) Besides the cleanliness of the property, the attention to details with amenities, it was the extra care they showed us that guarantees we will stay here again if we ever make it back to Colorado Springs! Thank You, Mariana and Shane!

Great location and plenty of space for family travel!

With a family of four, including two kids, this property was very accommodating and allowed all of us our own ‘chillout’ space after a day of activities. I would highly recommend this property based on location, accommodation, and hosts! It is a very clean property and has extremely comfortable sleeping arrangements. We used the kitchen daily and it met all of our needs! Plenty of storage throughout the property! Highly recommend!

Very Comfortable, Clean, and Up to Date

This is a very clean, very well-maintained, perfectly appointed place to stay for a couple or a small family. (The apartment sleeps six but there is only one bathroom, otherwise it would be great for two couples.) Nothing was overlooked; one really doesn't have to worry about bringing a thing unless there is something unusual or special that can't be lived without. (The only thing I brought was a flatiron for my hair; I don't expect that anyone would have that sort of thing available.) I would absolutely recommend this property, and would stay again if our travels take us back to the area. However, one thing to note is that it isn't appropriate for a handicapped individual. The entry way is downhill over a rock pathway.

We so enjoyed our experience at Pikes Peak Pleasure. The home was super clean, well appointed, spacious, and very comfortable. The only issue we had was temperature regulation which the owners promptly addressed when we contacted them. The location was very convenient to local attractions and restaurants as well as some newly discovered hiking trails. We will certainly keep this in mind for our future trips to the Springs!
