We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property, the view is amazing to wake up to and there are a bunch of hiking trails within a short driving distance. The home itself had everything you would need for a comfortable weekend stay away from home, we would definitely recommend it!
Exactly what we needed. Right on the beach which definitely was the best part. View was great and loved having flashbacks of childhood throughout the home!
We stayed here so we could hike Olympic NP. It was less than an hour drive to several entrances of the park. Great views out on the back balcony! The house was extremely clean with everything you need. Would highly recommend to anyone looking yo travel to the area.
This 1970s time capsule brings the charm and comfort in heavy doses. You can even see Hama Hama Oyster Farm across the tidal flats from the back deck! My wife and I took our dogs and our out of town friend for a few days of local shellfish, hiking, and relaxing and the Hamma Hamma Hideout was perfect. Can’t wait to come back!
The retro vibe is SO GOOD and this house is super well stocked and comfortable. We loved poking around on the beach and eating on the deck--and listening to records! We were with two toddlers who loved the carpeted stairs and all the outdoor space.
We loved this peaceful turn back in time spot! So fun to walk down memory lane with all the very cool 70's decor. Clean, cozy, well stocked, great communication and beautiful location. We will for sure be back!!
The HammaHamma Hideout is a great place to base your adventures for the Hood Canal and Olympic Natl’ Park exploration. It has pretty much everything you need. Feels a bit like you are walking into someone’s family home, a bit cluttered but so cute. The beach access is difficult for anyone with mobility issues or old knees. Great communication with host. Eldon Store near the house is so great and you can walk to it.
Beautiful view, lots of kitchen equipment, dish washer was not working but we are not dish washer folks anyway. The weather was really hot, there were three fans upstairs that help but a portable AC unit for that floor would be suggested. The lower floor stayed much cooler and evening cool breezes were delightful.
This property was a blast from the past. The pictures do not do it justice, and the house looks much more 70's than even the pictures show. I had an amazing relaxing time, and would recommend it to anyone needing a break from life. Molly was fabulous and helped me a few times with questions. I love this place and will definitely be back !
Absolutely impressive property, both inside and out. The house contained everything you coukd imagine, and in a 70s decor. The location is A+. Communication with Molly was so easy. Watching the tides recede and come back in was a highlight of our trip. My partner and I both agree, this is the best property we have ever rented for vacation. If you're on the fence about booking, dont even hesitate! What a memorable week! We will most certainly be back!
All I have to say is that we LOVED IT! Windows, water and trees are all you see from the time you open the front door. You walk out onto the upper deck off of the main floor and it is simply magnificent to bird watch or just go into a trance watching the water. This is a very well taken care of property. A lot of love, thought and care has obviously gone into it from the recent upkeep to 70's style decor. It's very clean & cozy, well stocked kitchen & bath, comfy beds and sofas. The neighbors are super quiet too. Parking bonus, behind the house, off the main road which sets a little farther back and I personally liked that. Some of the houses along this stretch are literally right on the road with very tight parking. There is 1 bedroom on the main floor and 2 bedrooms downstairs and one has a balcony off of this king bedroom, awesome! We're already looking at dates to plan another trip back to this lovely remote home. Don't search any farther, this is it!
We love this house so much! It's the perfect space for us and our two young kids and dog. Low-key homey vibes, a well appointed kitchen, plenty of games & puzzles, comfy beds, perfect views, beautiful beach, and super friendly owners. We can't wait to come back!
My husband and I spent ten days in this great spot! Beautiful view and plenty of fun things to do in the area. The decor was cute and there was lots of room for guests to come and join us. We loved being able to have a nice fire in the fireplace each evening. The only thing that wasn’t too great was the TV situation. There’s a great TV downstairs in one of the bedrooms but if you want to watch TV upstairs, in the main living area, remember to bring your Firestick!
Thanks Molly, we had a great time! I made pan fried oysters for the first time and they were amazing! We’ll definitely be back!

Tree top living on the canal!
The views are unparalleled, the house is cozy, and the nostalgic touches throughout are sure to bring a smile to your face. We enjoyed clams and oysters from the beach right out front and the kitchen was well stocked. There's an eagle nest at deck level (the deck is quite high) and you could not only hear but feel their wings beating a they came and went. We would certainly go back!

Funky private hideaway
Hama Hama was the perfect spot for a weekend away. We wished we could have stayed longer! The view was spectacular and the house has everything you need. The downstairs bedroom was pretty cold but I think we just didn’t turn on the heat. Fireplace in the living room was great and there was plenty of split wood. Don’t expect the ritz but if you’re up for the whimsical this was a great place!!!
