Very clean cabin. Beds were comfortable. We stayed in Balsam cabin. Great view of the lake from screened in porch. Resort area and town quiet and peaceful. Definitely will stay here again!
Very nice. Cabin was clean and overlooked the lake. The lake was clear. But not any fish close to dock. But did see an otter swimming around. Saw a lot of Minnows next to dock. We had a great time.
The location is Lovely, but it does appear that the view could be obstructed if the camper sites were filled, the cabin had a lot spiderwebs, otherwise very clean. It had everything you would need if you were cooking at the cabin. It got a bit chilly and the fireplace didn’t want to kick on it appears as if someone turned the gas valve off not sure if that was the owner of person who was before us. We’d love to stay again.
The property was just as it was listed except there was a step down into each bedroom which wasn't explained anywhere and my elderly mother had to sleep on the futon which wasn't ideal. It was very clean and the view of the lake was exceptional. We were in the area for a wedding but it would be a wonderful vacation spot.
Quiet spot to relax but close enough to Itasca, Bemidji and Brainerd for day trips. Listened to the loons, enjoyed the resorts' kayaks, great sunsets over the lake, and surprise fireworks for Corn Days!
Overall, everything went fairly smoothly. Troy was available for any questions and communications throughout the weekend, which made for an enjoyable experience for me and my friends.
Fair warning, the boat launch area is pretty shallow. So be cautious getting your boat off the dock. Lots of weeds and tall grass. But once you're out on the lake, it's great!
Relaxing and quiet. Cabin was relatively clean and had all the essentials. Shower was a little small but sufficient. The other guests were all very nice and inviting. I would definitely stay again!
The only two suggestions we had was the Smaller bed needs to be replaced as it sinks in the middle and makes a lot of noise and the coffee pot needs replacing. Great weekend otherwise and would come back again for sure.
Cabin had everything we needed. Actually had lightning hit the cabin in a storm that rolled through. Jeff had quick response, someone was there to check on things within an hour. Very friendly seasonal campers there also. Only disappointment for the kids was, there is no longer a volleyball court.
The location of the cabin relative to surrounding cabins was slightly misleading and the numerous 5th wheel campers were certainly a surprise. To advertise that the cabin had 2 acres doesn't take into account that is shared with several other cabins and about half a dozen 5th wheel campers. All of that aside, we had a wonderful time at the cabin/lake. It was just the getaway that our family needed and would definitely stay there again.
