This bright, happy house is one you, your friends and family will not want to leave. The property mixes the charm of an old house and the comforts of a modern renovation, with a little whimsy mixed into the decor. While also known as the "Taylor Inn", you will want to call this place "Home" when you reserve the entire property for yourself and your party. With 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms, its the perfect combination of hotel meets home. The luxurious bedrooms feature a king bed in one room, three rooms with queen beds and one room with a set of twin beds that doubles as the indoor TV room. All bedrooms open onto a large central foyer. The house has a full kitchen. So relax on the front porch and watch the goings-on in downtown Taylor, stroll the grounds and explore our garden and chicken run, or head to the back screened porch to enjoy its outdoor fireplace and big screen TV.

The property is just a quick 7 minutes up Old Taylor Road from the Ole Miss campus, across the street from Taylor Grocery, and a short stroll to fine dining at GRIT in the Plein Air development. It's the perfect home base for any Ole Miss ballgame weekend, events, reunions or other gatherings of family and friends.

2nd Visit To Taylor Inn

We love the Taylor Inn. We stayed here 2 years ago and all 10 people were so excited to return for our visit! Paige is a wonderful host. The inn is beautiful and we had a perfect stay! We will be back!

We stayed at this property the week before Christmas, and it felt like home with its decorations.

We love this property. It is more a home than a house with its furniture and other touches. I highly recommend this property to anyone coming to this area.

Christmas Vacation

This was our third year to stay at this lovely Taylor home. It has now become a Christmas tradition to stay there after staying in other places in Oxford this time of year for 37 years.Now our grandchildren join us with their parents each year. We love this home for its beauty and decorations. Just across the street is Taylor Grocery which I have been going to since college. I highly recommend staying at this Taylor home any time of year!

Historic Inn on road to ole miss

Meticulously maintained, this former inn is managed by conscientious host Paige Evans who communicates exceptionally well with her guests. The location is a 10 to 12 minute drive away from the University and is at the center of the village of Taylor.

We could not have had a more perfect place to stay! We were in Taylor for our daughters wedding at the Chapel in Plein Air right down the street. It was a great location, fun for our family to all be together and so beautiful! Everything we needed! Highly recommended!

Family Trip

This was our second stay at the Taylor property. It is a beautiful house that felt like home. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We loved sitting before the fire at night and never ran out of logs. The host was gracious and even mailed my granddaughter’s top back to us after we left. I highly recommend this house for all who want to feel like they are coming home.

Excellent time in Taylor, Mississippi

This property was fantastic for our family. 5 bedrooms and 5 full baths, a kitchen and living area and the best screened in porch ever. The porch has lounging area, two wall fans, big screen tv and fireplace. Two sides of the house have a beautiful covered porch with very nice rocking chairs. The owner is easy to communicate with and returns messages quickly. And you are right across the road from Taylor Grocery which has great food and entertainment. You are a half mile from Plein Air and 7 miles from Oxford. 5 STARS ALL AROUND.

Beautiful farmhouse, great host

Wonderful stay just outside Oxford, Miss … host was very thorough, thoughtful and available with quick responses to any questions we had. Small kitchen but fully loaded with everything needed, bedrooms are large, inviting and very nice beds, farmhouse-style furnishings. Only thing to be aware of is that the only living or gathering room is the screened and covered outdoor patio … not a problem for our stay because, while weather was rainy, the temps were great for being outside particularly with the large wood-burning fireplace creating plenty of warmth. The house itself has central heat and air, but outdoor patio might be a bit warm in summer. Highly recommend visiting Taylor, quick 7-10 min drive to Oxford.

Quaint Inn, wonderful stay!

We came into town for a family wedding and stayed at the Inn. Checkin was very easy. Paige communicated everything we needed to know. The property is absolutely beautiful! I could stay on the screen porch all day. Oxford/ Ole Miss is only 10 minutes away. Highly recommend for a trip to the area!

Fantastic Stay!!!

Oh what a wonderful time we had at the Inn. It was perfect and our host was timely and responsive. It was so nice for each room to have its on bath. The screen porch with fireplace was a huge hit. WE loved staying here and we will be back!!!

Charming Inn

The Taylor Inn was fabulous! Five spacious bedrooms with 5 bathrooms was perfect for our group of 9 adults. Decor and feel of the property is cute and cozy. We enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch watching Ole Miss football. Highly recommend the Taylor Inn. We definitely plan a return visit.

Great Place

The Taylor Inn perfectly fit the needs of our family of seven adults and three children. There was plenty of space for all of us to sleep, rest and visit. Furnishings are all well appointed and although the house is 100+ years old its super clean, freshly painted and has all modern fixtures and appliances. The owner/manager Paige is very accessible and helpful and responds immediately to inquiries. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again when we are in the area.

Perfect place for Ole Miss Family Weekend.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Taylor Inn. Everything was clean, well kept and super easy to get Oxford. Paige was very easy to get in touch with and checked in with us regularly. We will most definitely be coming back to stay.

Hurricane Ida evacuation

Evacuated from NOLA because of Hurricane Ida. Paige hurried to get the property ready for my family to stay. She had just checked out previous guests from the weekend. She was gracious enough to make a pet policy exception . The place is adorable and made my family comfortable during such a stressful situation. The house and entire property is a great place for large groups to stay. If I am ever are back up in the Oxford area I would definitely rent again!
