About this property

Our family cottages sit on 158 feet of private lake frontage (a rare find!) on beautiful Bear Lake. Bear Lake is an all sports lake with shallow water 20 feet out. The zero entry beaches and hard sandy bottom make it perfect for kids.

Roadside (sleeps 4) and Beachside (sleeps 6, could fit 8 by using the pull out couch) are the two rustic cottages on the property. Each cottage is about 600 sq. feet. The property comes with WiFi, TV, window air conditioning units, a grill, kids kayak, 2 paddle boards, canoe, pedal boat, fire pit, 3 picnic tables, plenty of outdoor seating and a large yard for games. All linens are provided, please bring your own beach towels

Beachside Cottage: This cottage has a main floor queen bedroom (with a TV), bathroom, open living room, full kitchen and a loft bedroom with 3 twin beds (one has a trundle to make 4 beds) and a TV. There are two window AC units.

Roadside Cottage: This cottage is at the top of the hill on US 31. There are 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has bunk beds with room for an air mattress/sleeping bags. There is 1 full bathroom, open living area with a TV, dining table and full kitchen. There is a portable AC unit.

We are a family of 5 from Grand Rapids, Michigan. We love our cottages on beautiful Bear Lake and know you will too!

Why they chose this property

Our cottage is centrally located which makes it great for day trips, although it's hard to leave beautiful Bear Lake.

The water is clear with a hard sandy bottom which is perfect for young kids swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing and just relaxing in a tube.

The large yard is perfect for all to enjoy. There are areas to relax, nap or play games.

We have a two zero entry water entrances (no rocks to step over) and one has a large beach to enjoy the sun.

What makes this property unique

The two cottages on one property is a wonderful benefit. It's perfect for large families, two families or a family with older kids. Everyone can have their own space and there are two kitchens!
